Nintendo DS Lite is a Great Educational Tool

The Nintendo DS Lite consoles became available to purchase in the year of 2006. This hand held console is much lighter than it's the first version, which is the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS Lite consoles weigh in at approximately 215 grams. They are small enough to fit in a pocket. It is dual screen with touch capability. The screen display measures around 256 x 196 px. These light-weight consoles have dual processors that make the 3D graphics very believable. They come with a s[censored] case which makes them much more durable. Some of the incredible features are the WI-fi capability that allows for multiple players. It features four back-light levels. If kept on the lowest setting the battery life comes in at fifteen to eighteen hours of use. There are been some reviews of user's being able to play at least a week before having to recharge the console. The Nintendo DS Lite consoles automatically come with 4 MRAM of memory.

Its appeal comes from being able to use the stylus and touch to operate the characters. One of the Pet Play games for kids the stylus acts as a hand to pet and take of dogs, cats, and even a kids very own Panda if they want. It's a great way to inspire and to teach children on how to take care of animals and their environment. The use of the stylus can be used to introduce a four year old to the fundamentals of using a pen or pencil. This I have personal experience with. My toddler has learned how to start tracing letters and lines through the use of a stylus and gaming console. She is already confident in her ability to color draw and write because she was first introduced to writing and inter-active learning games with a stylus. The Nintendo DS Lite consoles are not just for kids. It's an excellent portable electronic for adults too.



One of the many games I enjoy playing on the DS Lite console is Brain Age. This game is a challenge for me. With a young child at home, I do not want my brain to become lazy. I need to be able to think quickly, and this game helps do just that. This is also a stress buster. There is a huge selection of games to choose from. I don't know anyone who doesn't love to play Super Mario Brothers. What I like best about this console is that it is extremely affordable. With it's the ability to connect online with other players make the games exciting. Even though I may be alone in the room, I never have to play alone it I don't want.

This hand held has been a worthwhile investment for not only my kids, but for me as well. It is easily portable and came be taken on long road trips, and has a ton of accessory options that Grandparents are only too happy to supply to their grand-kids.
