Zoo Hospital review

We spent the first ten minutes of Zoo Hospital rubbing a baboon, trying to locate its ‘sweet spot’. It felt strange (the scenario, not the baboon) but such is the life of a vet, and before long you’ll be shaving bison and soothing zebras. Basically, this is Trauma Center for animals: identify a sick creature’s ailment and set about curing it.

Things start simple, with point ’n’ click injections. As you progress, treatments become more involved, requiring procedures to be strung together in a set time. Controls are tight and the faster you heal, the better your rank. Unlocking the exotic animals is fun but it won’t take long, and once you’re done there’s little reason to return. Trauma heads may want to rent but it’s too light to consider buying.
