Next Generation Of MOGA Gaming Controllers Now Available

The MOGA Hero Power and MOGA Pro Power are both now available either direct from the MOGA website (Pro, Hero) or from Amazon (Pro, Hero) for about $60 and $80 respectively. These devices are the sequel to last year’s MOGA Pocket and MOGA Pro, both of which are now offered at a discounted price on the MOGA Website (Pocket, Pro) and Amazon (Pocket, Pro) for about $30 and $50 respectively.

Built by Power A, the new controllers bring with them a plethora of added features. The more pocketable Hero Power has an 1800mAh battery and the larger Pro Power has a 2200mAh, both of which are capable of charging your Android device via the included MOGA Boost charging cable. Both devices include “S.M.R.T Lock” technology, which is what Power A is calling their improved smartphone grip that can hold devices up to 3.2 inches or 82mm in width.

Both devices are HID-enabled, meaning that you can connect them to your device just like any other Bluetooth controller. Or, if you would prefer, both devices are compatible with the free-to-download Moga Pivot App which steps you through connecting the controller and works as a central hub for your Pivot-compatible games. The Pro Power comes with a tablet stand, and both controllers feature much improved ergonomics — the Hero Power even has a d-pad now, whereas its predecessor, the Pocket, did not.
