In order to advance to tier two you must spend 20 points in tier one. In order to advance to tier three you must have spent a total of 40 points in tier one/two

There are additional levels past the first, for example:
  • I spent 1 point in Might and got 3 Strength

  • I took the next level spending 3 points for 9 Strength

  • I took the level after that spending 6 points for 18 Strength

  • I will also take the next level when I can afford it spending 10 points for 30 Strength

This works out really nice: 1+3+6+10 = a total of 20 points allowing me to adavance to the next tier without wasting any points. How much Strength did I get in total? 3+9+18+30 = 60
