Its been a while now that The Sims 4 has been released on PC and now slowly and steadily players have started facing various issues. Check if your system meet the following minimum system requirements:
You are likely to face lags in The Sims 4, if you are playing on your Laptop. You need to use lower graphic settings for Laptop. To enable Laptop mode, go to "…" icon > Game Options > Laptop Mode.
Check for issues with the game files, download any missing redistributables like vcredist_x64, DirectX and vcredist_x86. You will find them in the Installer folder of installation directory for The Sims 4.
The very first thing to do is update your drivers related to sound. Then check for a proper installation of the hardware, your audio devices etc. Lastly set the sound to audible levels.
Try and get out of the windowed mode, this should work. Check for driver updates to be on a safer side.
You need to check for issues with Origin. Do not forget to login to Origin. If the issue persists, reinstall Origin after uninstalling it.
Check if the firewall is blocking Origin, if so create an exception. Also disable proxy settings, go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings. Now uncheck Proxy Server.
These bugs are completely related to Origin, if you are getting these issues uninstall Origin, shut down your PC. Start it again and reinstall Origin for the game to run smoothly.
