accgame-win32-shipping.exe has stopped working

This issue is happening with almost all laptop users, as their graphics card versions are not officially supported.

Official words:

Some laptops may have the integrated graphics card used by default. Check that the graphics card being used is Supported. Generally, laptop cards are not officially Supported but may work. If you are having this problem on a desktop, please attempt to reinstall the game and verifying the game files again. Be sure that there are no other background programs that could be interrupting the launch of the game.

However workaround to this issue is:

  • First to verify if your graphics drivers are up to date.
  • Then verify game files, in Uplay at Game page click on the right arrow of the play button and select verify files. On steam right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  • For users with Laptop of nVidia supported graphics card one possible fix is to set 3D settings for accgame-win32-shipping.exe so that it doesn't run on integrated graphics. To do this open nVidia control panel -> Go to Manage 3D Settings and select accgame-win32-shipping.exe and check If the game's running under integrated graphics, that may be the reason why it keeps crashing set the graphics processor to  High-performance Nvidia.
