Fetch is back as a playable character — originally the neon sniper going on a rampage against Washington’s drug dealers, she’s now free and exploring painful memories of her tragic past. All that while zipping across the city using her improved neon abilities.

After the game’s opening text crawl and cutscene you’ll find yourself standing on the docks next to a boat. A pair of police officers will be shining their flashlights at you. Follow the button prompts to learn the game’s controls and then, when the game tells you to, make a run for it.

After you escape another brief cutscene will trigger/ When it ends you’ll be instructed to Evade the Police. While you’ll encounter police on the ground, your major concern will be the helicopter pursuing you. Do what you have to outrun it (running through alleys, into parking garages, etc.). After you put some distance between you and it, it will “Ditch.”

After you lose the police you’ll be instructed to Find the Apartment. Work your way toward the objective marker on your map and you’ll come to an apartment building. Make your way to the top of a building and you should find a set of black double doors. Open the doors and enter the apartment.

A brief cutscene will trigger after which you’ll receive orders to Defend Yourself From the Murderers. This basically beating the heck out of everyone in the apartment until no one’s left. Once they’re out of the picture you’ll be instructed to Pick Up the Duffel Bag. You’ll find it on the bed. Walk over to it and follow the prompt that appears. A cutscene will trigger. After it ends you’ll be taught how to drain neon to charge your powers. Do so at the nearby Emergency Phone.

After that’s done, you’ll need to Return to Your Getaway Boat. Make your way back toward the objective marker on the mini-map. When you near the boat it will explode. Make your way to the wreckage and another cutscene will start up. This ends the Prologue section.

When it ends you’ll find yourself in the D.U.P. arena. Follow the prompts to lean how to identify a target’s weak points. After you’ve mastered that, a trio of enemies will appear along with a hostage. You’ll receive ordered to Save the Defenseless Man From the Thugs. The enemies will open fire on the hostage. Defeat them before they can kill the poor sap and then run over to the hostage to rescue him.

Once this is done you’ll be ordered to rescue two more hostages. They’ll appear one at a time, each with their own trio of thugs trying to gun them down. Rescue them and you’ll then be educated on how to purchase upgrades. Buy the Photon Jump as instructed and then follow the prompts to try it out. Once that’s done you’ll be tasked with completing the Guardian challenge (Save 10 Hostages). Wrap that up and another cutscene will trigger, ending this section of the game.

After the game shifts back to Seattle, make your way to the map marker and initiate the mission. Once you’ve done this, Shane will appear around a corner. Follow him and you’ll come to a truck where you’ll receive instructions to Protect Shane.

Hop onto the top of the truck and Shane will start driving it out of the alley. As he heads out of the alley and onto the street he’ll almost immediately be attacked by Akuran thugs attacking from the side walks. Shoot them down with your neon bolts. You’ll eventually come to a blockade of cars. You’ll be told to Destroy the Car Blockade. Jump off of Shane’s trucks, clear away the Akurans and then destroy the cars. Once that’s done hop back onto the truck and you’ll be able to continue forward.

You’ll pass through an area filled with neon signs. Absorb energy from them as needed and then board Shane’s truck again. You’ll drive through an alley at the end of which a police car will try and block your passage, followed by an Akuran truck. Destroy them both and Shane will continue his flight. Akuran cars will no start appearing out of the woodwork, pursuing Shane’s truck and shooting at it. Destroy them before they cause too much damage to Shane’s truck. After a few minutes of pursuit one of Shane’s allies will block the road with a bus, after which he’ll be able to drive the bus to his hideout safely. When you arrive the mission will end.

When you activate this mission you’ll be standing next to a blue node. A brief cutscene will trigger, after which Fetch will place her hand on the node. This will give her unlimited energy while also boosting the power of her neon blasts. These come in handy for fulfilling you orders to Take Down the Akurans. Zoom in on the thugs in the street below and snip them before they kill Shane’s man.

After you drop all the Akurans, Shane will call and inform you that another one of his men is in a tough spot. Head toward the objective marker on your mini-map. This will take you to another rooftop where you’ll find another node. After a brief cutscene use your node-enhanced powers to take down the second cluster of Akuran thugs.

After you do this, a third sniper perch will be marked on your mini-map, head toward it and you’ll be taken to a building overlooking a pair of alleyways converging on a small courtyard. After you activate the node Akuran thugs will start pouring in. They’ll come in waves and in larger numbers than you’ve previously fought them thus far. Defeating the ones on the ground isn’t all that difficult. That said, take care to keep an eye on the rooftops to your right, left and just below your perch. Akuran snipers will occasionally take up position in those spots and can kill you if you don’t clear them away fast enough. Once you’ve killed all the Akurans, the mission will end.

After you’ve activated the mission marker a Jenny will call and explain your objectives. An objective marker will appear on your mini-map nearby. Run over to it and you’ll be instructed to Ping L3 to Locate Nearby Cameras. Do so and camera will be revealed, glowing green across the street. Following the button prompts, use your phone to scan the camera. This will reveal a sequence of an Akuran trafficker in a track suit following a woman down the street.

Once you’ve watched this head down the street in the same direction that Mr. Track Suit went down in the footage. Ping L3 again as walk down the street to locate more cameras. You should see one on the underside of a near by bridge. Scan it with your phone and you should see footage of the trafficker turning down an alleyway to pursue the woman.

Turn down the same alley (on the right side of the street) and follow it until it forks. Ping L3 and you should see cameras on both the left and the right. The camera on the left is a dud, so scan the one on the right. This will reveal more footage of the trafficker. Continue down the alley toward the right and you’ll exit back onto the street. Turn toward the left and follow the street. You should find another camera above a Mann restaurant. Scan it and you’ll find more footage.

Continue down the street and Ping L3 again. You should see another camera mounted on the underside of another bridge. Scan it and you’ll see more video of the Trafficker following the woman up a flight of stairs. You’ll find the stairs at the end of the bridge on the left side of the street. Climb them and you’ll find another camera hanging off the corner of a brick building. Scan it and you’ll catch another section of footage.

Follow the brick building. When you reach its end you’ll come to an alleyway. Turn down it and you should come to another camera mounted above on a building to the left. After you scan it and watch the corresponding footage continue down the alley. There will be one more camera at its ends. Scan it and you’ll get more footage of the trafficker following the woman to a dumpster.

Make your way to the dumpster and you’ll be instructed to Search For Clues Left Behind. Next to the dumpster you’ll find a cell phone lying on the ground. Pick it up to finish the mission.

After you start this mission your first order of business will be to Find a Sniper Perch. Make your way toward the objective marker on the mini-map. You’ll wind up on a rooftop near a blue neon node. Once you’ve connected with it a brief cutscene will trigger in which you’ll see a large group of Akurans come charging into a crowded street where Shane’s men are protecting some of his trucks. You need to Protect Shane’s Men From Akurans.

Using your enhanced neon-blasts start sniping the Akurans. Take out as many as you can before the enter the parking lot. Once they reach the street they’ll have a lot of cover. Luckily, a lot of this comes from the explodable cars in the street, but even then when you’re dealing with a lot of different targets it can make it harder to keep track of them if they’re hopping in and out of sight. Also be on the lookout for snipers as they’ll pose the only real threat to you personal health in this section of the mission.

Once you’ve cleared out the baddies attacking the street Shane will ask you to help his men in an assault on an Akuran strongpoint. Follow the objective marker and you’ll be led a large building infested with Akuran thugs. Taking them out isn’t all that hard. Protecting Shane’s men on the other hand can be a bit of a pain. They can’t take a lot of damage and they are very much outnumbered by the Akurans. If they’re all killed the mission will end. That in mind, your best bet is to stay relatively close to them so that you be there to push back if the Akruans gain the upper hand. As long as you keep Shane’s men alive, the mission will end when you defeat all the Akurans.

When this mission starts you’ll be back in the D.U.P. conduit prison. After some cutscenes pass by you’ll be tasked with completing the Hang Ten challenge which entails defeating ten gradually larger waves of D.U.P. soldiers. There’s nothing special about this battle. Kick the living heck out of all of the enemies and when you’ve finished some more cutscenes will trigger and this mission will end.

After you activate the mission marker, you’ll receive instructions to Free Shane’s Thugs From the D.U.P. On the map you should see several objective markers surrounded by a white ring signifying the D.U.P’s territory. Head into the territory ring and start duking it out with the D.U.P. troops. Once you’ve cleared them out a bit, you can start freeing Shane’s men. You’ll find them in three holding pens scattered around the D.U.P. compound (and indicated by the aforementioned objective markers).

After you open two of them, D.U.P. reinforcements will arrive and start lobbing gas grenades. If you get caught in the gas you’ll be stunned so watch out for that. Once you’ve freed all of Shane’s men you’ll be instructed to finish off the remaining D.U.P. forces. With that done there will be a bit of dialogue between Fetch and Shane and then the mission will end.

Activate the mission marker. After a few seconds Jenny will contact you and instruct you to use a phone app to Look Through the Police Drone’s Camera to Find Its Location and Destroy It. Follow the button prompts on the screen and your perspective will change to that of a nearby hovering police crone circling a nearby area of the map. This area will, in turn, be indicated on your map by a white wring. Watch the drone’s video feed for a moment. If you have trouble finding it look for the “Genome Decoded” advertisement on the side of a nearby building. It should pass right by that. Once you catch sight of it, destroy it.

After you destroy the drone you’ll be instructed to Locate the Second Police Drone. Follow the mini-map and you’ll be directed to another ringed area. Once you reach it you’ll again be able to view the drone’s video feed. Watch it for clues as to its present location. If you have a hard time catching it however, you can just wait underneath train tracks along the eastern edge of the ringed area. It flies past the track every few minutes and is an easy target at this location.

After you’ve destroyed drone number two you’ll received orders to Locate the Last Police Drone. Once again, follow the map marker and you’ll be led to a third ringed off area. Once your reach the area, check the drone’s video feed. It will turn out that this “drone” is, in fact, a D.U.P. attack helicopter. It will immediately start firing at you. Destroy it and clear out the ground forces backing it up. Once the D.U.P. forces have been defeated the mission will end.

When the mission begins you’ll receive instructions to Go to First Shipping Container. Follow the objective marker on the mini-map and you’ll find a red shipping container guarded by some of Shane’s thugs. Dispatch the guards swiftly before they can call in and warn Shane. Once they’re defeated you open the container.

The container will be empty and you’ll need to find the next one. The catch is that you need to get their within a time limit: 32 seconds. Use your neon speed to start sprinting toward the new objective marker. As you run, be sure to hit all the neon clouds you can as they’ll add another second on to your remaining time. When you arrive at the second container, you’ll need to again take down the guards quickly. Once they’re dispatched, crack open the container.

The second container will also be a dud. Jenny will direct you to a third and the timer will start counting down again. Neon sprint toward the next container, again hitting the neon clouds to keep the clock from running out. As you get close to this third container the police will show up and start lobbing gas bombs. If you run into one of the resultant gas clouds you’ll be stunned for a few seconds, so do your best to avoid them. When you reach the third container it will be business as usual: take out the guards and open up the container.

Container three, like the two before it, is empty, so Jenny directs you toward a final fourth one. Just as before sprint to reach I before the timer runs out, avoiding the cops and their pesky gas bombs. When you reach the fourth container take out the guards and open it up. It too will be empty. After that Shane will call and direct you to meet him at another point on the map. Run toward the new objective marker to end the mission.

After you trigger the mission marker you’ll receive instructions from Shane to cause a enough damage and destruction around the city to draw the attention of the local police forces. A destruction bar will appear at the top of the screen. Jump down into the city and blow stuff up. Doing so will gradually fill up the bar.

After you fill the destruction bar you’ll receive new orders to Go to The Meeting Location. Make your way toward the objective marker on the mini-map. It will lead you to a sniper perch. Arriving at the marker will also trigger a brief cutscene where the police arrive. You’ll receive new instructions to Fend Off the Police. The cops will start charging down the alleyway below. Shoot them as they come, taking care to pick off any snipers that appear on the nearby rooftops.

After a few minutes of this you’ll get another call from Shane where he’ll tell you to Go to the Handoff Location. Work your way toward the next objective marker. It should take you to a set of open double doors in an alleyway. Head inside and Shane will double cross you with a gas trap. After a little awhile a cutscene will trigger, after which the mission will end.

After the Kingpin in Seattle mission, a cutscene will trigger. When it ends you’ll be back in the D.U.P arena. When you regain control of Fetch she’ll have a new ability: Heat-Seeking Neon Missiles. A trio of hologram enemies will spawn in front of you. Use the missiles to destroy them.

Once that’s done you’ll be tasted with completing The First Nightmare Challenge. This involves defeating 20 Demon enemies that will spawn in increasingly large waves. The Demons themselves come in three varieties. The first is ground-based and melee centric. The second more potent version hovers above the ground and hit you with ranged attacks and spiders that they drop onto the ground to attack you. The third is another winged type fond of flying around shooting you energy blasts

None of the demons are overly difficult to deal and can pretty much be handled the same way you would any of the human enemies you’ve fought so far. In other words, punch them and shoot them to death until you’ve destroyed all 20 demons in the challenge. Doing so will trigger another cutscene and end the mission.

After the cutscene ends you’ll be back in Seattle and immediately in combat. As the game suggests, Fight Off Shane’s Thugs and then search their bodies for clues. After you’ve done that you’ll be directed to Go to The Relay Dish. Follow your objective marker to a nearby rooftop where you’ll find the dish in question. Ping it with L3 and six delivery trucks filled with drugs will be lit up green around the city.

You’ll receive new instructions to Find Drug Shipments, meaning the trucks. Head to the nearest one and take out the guards defending it. Once you’ve dispatched them head around to the back of the truck and blow up the drugs stored inside. With the drugs destroyed you’ll then be tasked with branding the side of the truck with your neon powers. Follow the button prompts and then use the PS4’s motion controls to carve an image into the side of the truck.

Once that’s done you’ll need to track down the remaining trucks (there are six total). Find another relay dish and ping it with L3. With the remaining trucks now visible, pick one and make your way towards it. Unlike the first truck, these ones will be on the move. To stop them, just shoot them with your with neon ray. The driver will, in turn, slam on the breaks and come piling out to attack you. Dispatch them all, destroy the drugs, tag the truck and then head back to a relay to do it all over again.

Once you’ve destroyed five of the six trucks, ping a relay dish with L3 and head toward the last truck. The last one, unlike the four that came before it, will be parked in an area off the streets and enclosed between several buildings. It will also have a full compliment of D.U.P. troops guarding it, so you should expect a tougher fight breaching its defenses than with the previous trucks. Clear out the soldiers and destroy the drugs and you’ll be prompted to tag a nearby wall the same way that you’ve been branding the trucks.

When you finish tagging the wall, Shane will call and invite you to meet him at his hideout. A new objective marker will appear on the map. Make your way to it and you’ll come a tall apartment building with several of his thugs guarding the entrance. You don’t need to fight them if you don’t want to. When you’re ready, walk up to the front door and open it up.

Doing so will trigger a cutscene during which Shane will drug Fetch. After it ends you’ll be in a large pillared room filled with D.U.P. soldiers. As you fight them, Shane’s drugs will gradually deteriorate your ability to see clearly. After awhile the screen will flash completely white and you’ll find yourself in an eerie narrative dreamscape. Work your way trough it and you’ll come to a linear tunnel with a demon at the end. As you run through the tunnel you’ll be attacked by white, ghost-like figures that you can blast away with your neon ray. Do this three times and you’ll trigger a cutscene that ends the mission.

After the cutscene from the last mission ends you’ll find yourself outside in a snow storm. You’ll receive instructions to Chase After Shane. For the time being that means following a snowy path down a hillside. This will shortly lead you to a fence pressed up against a fairly treacherous looking mountain face. Use the fence to climb across to the other side of the path and continue on toward Shane.

You should come to a catwalk beneath a bridge with a set of controls at the end of it. Use them and a section of the bridge will lower, allowing you to climb up onto it and continue. You’ll see an objective marker up ahead. When you near it the floor below you will fall out, dropping you to the ground below. A drone will fly pat and then head away. Follow it and it will eventually crash onto the ground, allowing you to absorb its energy and use Fetch’s neon powers.

These come in handy because directly up ahead is a D.U.P. force in sore need of a walloping. As soon as you arrive, the D.U.P. troops will open fire. Clear them out and a new objective marker will appear. Follow it and you’ll come to another compliment of D.U.P. soldiers. Defeat them and press on, fighting your way through any further enemies you encounter.

You’ll eventually come to a canyon where a D.U.P. attack chopper will try and take you down by bringing down the walls. Avoid any falling rock and then, when you exit the canyon, fight your way through the chopper and soldiers waiting for you. Once you’ve cleared out them out, you can continue onward after Shane. You’ll find his APC and then, a few short steps later, the man himself. A cutscene will trigger and the mission will end.
