Glitches are dime a dozen in videogames. They're par on course for any videogame experience and despite sometimes getting in the way of what we refer to as 'the gameplay', glitches can--in and of themselves--be enjoyable for offering us with a unexpected moments.

Culled from various internet sources we've put together this collection of some of the strangest glitches that players have encountered in recent games, captured in screenshots.

There's everything from misplaced textures and loopy, physics-based model mess ups to M.C. Escher inspired images that'll leave your head spinning as you try to wrap your mind around what it is you're actually seeing. Make no mistake, you wouldn't see flubs like this in a movie. Glitches are without a doubt a "feature" that only videogames can provide.
