Borderlands 2 Class Modification Units | Class Mod Guide

Like the first game, Borderlands 2 will include literally billions of weapon combinations that players of the four player classes—well, five if you include the Mechromancer—can arm themselves with.

In addition to the near-countless weapon combinations, Class Modification Units, or COMs, are also making their return in the sequel. Each of these COMs improve your character's abilities and much like the previous game, they will heavily impact your character's playstyle whenever you have them equipped.

Each COM mod serves a specific purpose and is designed to boost specific skills. These COM mods can even improve your skills well beyond their maximum level.

Commando Class Mods

Engineer

Manufactured by Dahl. Increases your action skill cool down rate. It has the potential to provide a boost to the following abilities: Battlefront, Resourcefulness, Sentry.

Grenadier

Manufactured by Torgue. Increases your grenade damage and enhances your resistance from damage taken by explosives. It has the potential to provide a boost to the following abilities: Steady, Impact and Grenadier.

Gunner

Manufactured by Vladof. Increases your Team Fire rate. It has the potential to provide a boost to the following abilities: Overload, Full Auto and Metal Storm.

Point man

Manufactured by Pangolin. Increases your Health Generation and enhances your maximum HP. It can possibly give boost to the following abilities: Pressure, Grit and Last Ditch Effort.

Rifleman

Manufactured by Dahl. Increases your Assault Rifle Magazine and enhances Assault Rifle Gun damage. It has the potential to provide a boost to the following abilities: Impact, Onslaught and Battlefront.
