
In the multiplayer mode of Crysis 2, the developers introduced a system of unlocks. Players had to earn experience points to gain levels in order to unlock new weapons and abilities. The system remains in Crysis 3, allowing players to unlock default classes in the early levels, followed by skills, custom classes, weapons, and attachments.
Like the Call of Duty and Battlefield games, leveling up is a central mechanic in the game's online mode, but players don't have to have the the highest levels to gain an edge over their opponents—it merely provides players with a wider range of options.
This hasn't changed with Crysis 3, which features up to 51 levels, the last of which allows players to reboot their skills. Check them out in the list below.
