While exploring the world of Pandora you will occasionally run across customization items that will allow you to change your character’s appearance in a handful of different ways. One of those options is to change your character’s head. You can find these items in several ways. Searching in hidden areas, defeating bosses, and acquiring rare loot drops are all ways to get new heads for your vault hunter.
Axton the Commando’s available heads aren’t quite as wild or weird as Zer0’s, but he has some cool ones nonetheless. Grizzled Veteran is a head that doesn’t hide Axton’s face, but instead just changes how he looks completely. Getting this head requires complete symbiosis. Medic Mantis is a fantastic head that gives a nod to Metal Gear Solid’s Psycho Mantis mask, and you get it by defeating Geary. Defeating Henry will give you a chance to get the Dapper Gent head, making Axton look like a proper gentleman while murdering hordes of enemies. Check out the chart below to see all of Axton’s heads and how you can get them, then let us know which one is your favorite.
