Hitman: Absolution Melee Weapons Guide Part 5

Haven’t found the melee weapon best suited to you in Hitman: Absolution? Fear not: the developers have included the most strange items to be used as weapons so you’re sure to find something to your likings.

• Hula Girl

The Hula Girl is a colorful statuette of a hula dancer and it’s pretty funny to take out targets with this. It’s quite a standard melee weapon: it can be crushed on targets’ heads, both from the front and the back. It can be used as a throwable weapons but it’s quite standard in this regard as well: it doesn’t do much damage and it’s better used as a distraction. The Hula Girl can be found in the Welcome to Hope and Attack Of The Saints missions.

• Iron

An old fashioned iron, used to smooth clothes and kill targets. Actually, it’s only use in Hitman: Absolution is to kill enemies by hitting them in the head from the front or back. It can be used as a throwable weapon and as a distraction, dealing moderate damage to enemies. The Iron can be found in the Terminus and Attack Of The Saints missions.

• Katana

Finally a true melee weapon. It’s actually one of the best available in the game, allowing Agent 47 to kill his targets in a number of ways from the front and from behind. The kills are also gruesome and actually satysfying to watch. Like other melee weapons, it can kill a target with a single well aimed throw to the head. It can also be used as a distraction but it’s kind of a waste, considering how fine this weapon is. The Katana can be found in the Hunter and Hunted and Blackwater Park missions.

• Kitchen Knife

The Kitchen Knife, despite being so common, it’s quite a useful weapon for stealth kills: it’s availability makes it better than other knives or edged weapons. With the kitchen knife you can stab targets from the front and slit their throats from behind. As an added bonus, it can kill a target with a well aimed throw to the head. The kitchen knife can also be used as a distraction. This weapon can be found in the A Personal Contract, The King Of Chinatown, Run For Your Life, ROsewood and Death Factory missions.
