The Last Of Us Collectible Guide: Artifacts – Bill’s Town

Trying to survive isn’t the only thing you can do in the world of The Last Of Us: it’s true that the Infected have taken over the world but it’s also true that survivors can keep on living without some kind of side-activities. If blasting Infected is too dangerous for you, maybe you will want to invext some time in exploring the many different locations found in the game.

For starters, there are quite a lot of items to collect in the game: while some are absolutely optional and only completionists will want to find them all, many others will end up being useful in your surviving endeavors like training manuals, tools, parts and more. Some of these items will also allow you to understand the story behind The Last Of Us more, with some additional information that can only be discovered by finding some special items.

Pretty much each area of the game includes some collectibles, with the obvious exception of the Prologue area: even in the Jackson area you’ll be able to find a collectible item, a single comic.

Finding all collectibles is not going to be too hard: some of them will be in plain sight. At the same time, some of these extra objects are carefully hidden so if you don’t feel like searching every corner of each area, you can just follow our guides and find all the collectible items without wasting too much time searching.

We will be covering each collectible type, together with the details on the locations where you’ll be able to find them, starting from the first areas until the end of the game. Make sure to check out and follow the correct guide for the type of collectible you are searching for.

  • Artifacts

Artifacts are the first collectible type we’ll be covering: they are some of those collectibles that don’t have any use gameplay wise. However these will help you understand the story of The Last Of Us better, since they tell small bits of side story. Artifacts can be diary pages, maps, scraps of paper and pictures. Collecting all of them will allow you to earn the It Was All Just Lying There: if you’re aiming for the Platinum Trophy, you will have to find all of them.
