The Last of Us Safe Locations and Combinations

Throughout the gameplay in ‘The Last of Us’, you will discover a selection of notes and clues which inform Joel that somebody has stored supplies in a series of secured safes, containing a cache of useful items. Advancing through the campaign, Joel will occasionally stumble into these safes and more often that not, both the combination and safe can be found within the same area. 

We’ve composed a handy guide that details the exact locations of all four safes, and the combinations needed to access them. If you’re looking for easy rewards then look no further...

The Outskirts

Combination Location - As you enter the large area that requires Joel to sneak past the Clickers, you should be able to see stores to both the left and right. Stick to the left wall from the entrance and slide over the counter to discover a drawer which contains the combination. 

Safe Location - The safe can be found close by in another store to the right side of the entrance, which is located in the corner next to the counter. Beware, as this particular safe is guarded by a Runner, either snatch up your loot quickly and quietly or... don’t at all.



Bills Town

Combination Location - Head down the main street with a truck visible on the right side and a pizza restaurant on the left. Keep running down until you hit a handmade barrier with a note containing the safe location posted upon it.
Safe Location - Head back up the street towards the pizza place and truck we passed a while back, and check the back of the truck for the safe.



Pittsburg

Combination Location - Enter the flooded hotel and move the ladder to aid you up towards the upper level. Take a right and head up the steps until you reach a set of elevator doors. Check the corner in the ground for a note containing the location of the safe.
Safe Location - Return to the flooded level and hunt out a door to the left near the entrance and behind a counter. Behind this door is a smaller room containing the third safe.


The Suburbs

Combination Location - In the last house that can be explored in the abandoned neighborhood past the fenced home (right after the others escape the sewers) head upstairs to the third floor and discover the combination on the computer desk.

Safe Location- Return to the second floor and hunt out the final safe in one of the bedrooms.
