The weapons in Ubisofts’ Watch Dogs vary enormously, allowing players with different tactics to make the most of their weapon wheels. You’ll collect new weapons in a variety of ways, taking them from your victims, buying them or simply receiving them as a reward. Here you’ll read through a list of weapons you can find through your travels, but some will only be available to those with a keen eye.

Sniper Rifles

AC-AR
For those who favour long distance shooting, a sniper rifle is the ultimate weapon. The AC-AR must thus be the sniper’s dream weapon. With a precision range of 150m and a pellet spread of just 5, AC-AR weapon users are lethal when firing in either bursts or sustained fire. The size 20 magazine contributes to this Watch Dogs’ weapon’s effectiveness, scoring 4/5 and earns it a place in Aiden’s weapon slots.

M107
The sniper rifle gets an upgrade in the form of this Watch Dogs weapon. Not only does the M107 maintain the 150m range, it also inflicts up to 120 HP damage per shot and only reduces down to 100 HP at a distance of 100m. Once you’re a fair way through Watch Dogs you’ll be able to buy the M107 sniper rifle from various gun shops in the city.

Grenade Launchers

GL-94
Maximum damage. That’s the aim of this weapon type and your selection does exactly that. You’ll have to get used to the pump action the GL-94 requires, but once you manage that you’ll be causing up to 240 HP damage per launch. If you can fire within the 4-meter maximum impact range you’ll be the only one able to walk away. The great effectiveness of this Watch Dogs weapon should mean you won’t need many hits to achieve your goal, but if you do there are 8 available in the magazine.

G-106
If you’re looking for something a little earlier in the game, the G-106 will see you through until you can equip the bigger model. Still, it is a valuable device to have in your Weapon Wheel. Also availavle to buy in gun shops, the G-106 is a single shot weapon you can allocate to the special slot and use to blast away foes from a distance of 30m.

Signature Weapons

Destroyer
With a name like this, the Destroyer creates high expectations in players and it certainly lives up to them. Inflicting a maximum damage of around 120 HP per shot and only reducing to 100 at a distance of 100m, this Watch Dogs signature weapon is worth the wait. You’ll have to play through the Criminal Convoy side mission to unlock this monster machine. You will have to be careful when firing the Destroyer in Watch Dogs however because the maximum ammo value of 80 seems restricted in comparison to the others in its category.

Gangster
The signature weapons group consists of weapons that are hard to get and the Gangster weapon is no exception. To even try this gun out you’ll have to complete the QR Codes Investigation, which you’ll find our guide to here. The maximum ammo for this weapon is a much healthier 360 and as it’s full-auto you’ll certainly need the bigger store. Despite the potential power behind the Gangster, recoil is relatively low, making it one worthy of working for.

Spec-Ops Weapons

SO Vector 45ACP
This weapon is exclusively earned as an Online Tailing: Online Contracts reward in Watch Dogs, let’s hope you didn’t disable that feature too early! Although the SO Vector 45ACP is a full-auto gun, it incurs no recoil when fired in single shots or bursts. Even the sustained fire doesn’t cause you much damage and don’t forget it can be used with a silencer too. The SO Vector 45ACP is normally equipped as a primary weapon, ready for Aiden to take out enemies up-close or from afar.

Spec Ops 1911
On the simpler side of the scale, the Spec Ops 1911 is available from gun shops once you’re around the midpoint of Watch Dogs. With a damage of 100 HP within 15 meters, this weapon can enable you to make some lethal shots rapidly with its 600 rate of fire. The Spec Ops 1911 is a semi-auto gun with a silencer. Win-win!

Exclusive Weapons

Gold D50
Yes, this Watch Dogs weapon is exactly what you might expect: gold. You’ll only be able to enjoy firing from this glitzy gun by receiving it as an Uplay reward though. When you’re fortunate enough to have it, the Gold D50 inflicts 70 HP damage within 25 meters and has an 8 strong magazine. Even if you can’t actually blind enemies with a gold gun, you will definitely be able to take them out with its semi-auto firing power and 360-count ammo.

M1SMG
The Untouchables Pack will reward you with this Watch Dogs exclusive weapon. The M1SMG is a full-auto firing weapon that packs a punch with its 50 magazine and 800 rate of fire. No need for you to worry however as the punch only pushes forward, there is no recoil to consider when firing single shots or in 3 bullets bursts. The recoil from sustained fire is also minimal, allowing you to focus more on reducing the wide spread of pellets.
