How To Get The Class Specific Weapons in Destiny: The Taken King

It looks like quite a bit of folks want the new class specific weapons in Destiny: The Taken King. Players should know they’re not that hard to get, but it will require you to level your gunsmith to a higher rank to get the quest to unlock them.

The three new class specified weapons are the Ace of Spades for Hunters, the Tlaloc for the Warlocks, and the Fabian Strategy for the Titans. These exotic weapons can be obtained from the gunsmith when you get him to rank three. After leveling him to that specific rank, he will grant you a quest specifically for the current class you are playing that provides an exotic weapon.

When you take up the quest you will need to use specific weapons linked to that class. For instance, Hunters will have to kill 100 enemies with a handcannon, Titans will have to kill 100 with an auto rifle, and Warlocks will have to kill 100 with a scout rifle, while having a Primary telementry activated.

After that is done, you will need to dismantle rare or legendary weapons of that specific class like the handcannon, auto rifle, or the scout rifle. Rare weapons will count either as 1 or 2 points, while legendary counts as 5 points, you will need a total of 10 points to complete the quest.

Below is a list of all the three primary weapon perks, which range from attack increase, to exploding your enemies to healing yourself.

The Hunter’s Ace of Spades comes with:

  • TrueSight IS = QuickDraw IS = SteadyHand IS
  • Firefly – Precision kills cause the target to explode
  • High Caliber Rounds = Perfect Balance = Reinforced Barrel
  • Maverick – Precision kills take one round from your ammo reserve slot into the magazine.

The Warlock’s Tlaloc Comes with:

  • Smooth Ballistics = Accurized Ballistics = Soft Ballistics
  • Eye of the Storm – This weapon becomes more accurate as your health gets lower
  • Hand Loaded = Armor Piercing Rounds = Injection Mold
  • Overflow – This weapon has better handling, rate of fire and stability while the wielder’s super is charged.

The Titan’s Fabian Strategy comes with:

  • Smooth Ballistics = CQB Ballistics = Linear Compensator
  • Life Support – Kills with this weapon while under critical damage will have a chance to start regenerating health
  • Extended Mag = Lightweight = Smallbore
  • Front Lines – This weapon has increased handling, fire rate and stability when enemies are close.

However, to sum up all of that, DattoDoesDestiny made a complete guide that shows you how to get the class specific weapons, as seen below.

And that’s how you get the three new exotic weapons for that specific class. Something worth noting, you won’t have to wait for Armsday, which falls on Wednesday, to obtain your class specific weapon. After you’re done with the quest you should receive it right away.
