There are a lot of weapons, items and armor to be found in Fallout 4, but what would you do if you could duplicate those rare or legendary items with Dogmeat? Well, there is a method to get duplicate items and weapons with a Dogmeat trick.

Maybe all it takes is science and imagination… Actually, all it takes is just timing with this glitch. If you need more items, rare weapons, better armor and so on, there is a glitch that allows you to duplicate the same items more than once.

And, yes, this glitch to get more items or weapons includes Dogmeat. Thanks to one of the best glitch finders in Fallout 4, Outside The Box or Demon Asylum, you can get multiple Cryolators, or more rare material just by picking up the same items at the same time as Dogmeat.

Although this glitch might be a bit tricky at first, if you can find a method close to that of Demon Asylum’s, you just might be a duplicate master. Obviously, this glitch will work better for those on consoles like PS4 and Xbox One, since the PC version arrives with console commands.

In addition, you will have to command Dogmeat to pick the weapon up. As Dogmeat’s head is dipping down to get whatever you need duplicated, make sure you are standing some distance from the item so that you don’t pick it up yourself. Once Dogmeat’s head is officially near the weapon or item, pick it up too.

If done correctly, you should have two of the same weapons in your inventory. A few tips that might help with the timing of this glitch, is to have Dogmeat face you when initiating it. Make sure that you have him in a certain spot before you have him go after that specific item, and also make sure that the item is facing him.

Something worth noting, this method is prone to change and there hasn’t been a clear answer as to why it isn’t always the same. So with that said, you will need to keep practicing this glitch while being in sync with your dog.

Lastly, this glitch is heavily based on timing and may take a lot of practice before you can start duplicating items or weapons that you need, so it is advised that you be patience while performing this glitch with your dog.
