In Fallout 3 folks could get a DeathClaw Gauntlet, in Fallout 4 you can still get the same rare DeathClaw Gauntlet just with an alternate look. The new, rare Gauntlet can be obtained through the Devil’s Due quest in Fallout 4 in the Museum of Witchcraft.
For those that enjoyed slashing their foes into mincemeat with the DeathClaw Gauntlet in Fallout 3 will be able to continue that in Fallout 4. The new version of the deadly weapon can be found during a quest that isn’t that long, but will prove to be somewhat obnoxious if you aren’t that high in level.
To find the location, you will have to head to the Museum of Witchcraft. This location is to the far north-east on the map, and just east of both Hugo’s Hole and Dunwich Borers. Once you reach the location, you will want to go to the right side of the museum that will have a body with Private Hart’s holotape on it. take the tape and listen to it to take up the Devil’s Due quest.
The quest is pretty short compared to other quests, but it is pretty challenging and will require you to bring your best weapons, power armor, healing supplies and anything to take down a Chameleon DeathClaw. This location can be found right next to the dead body, which is down in the lower part of the museum, in an underground basement shed.
After fighting it, you will find another holotape in a bathroom on another dead soldier. Listen to the tape and it will tell you to bring back an egg to the soldiers, don’t do that instead take the egg to a DeathClaw nest where you will find the rare DeathClaw Gauntlet right next to the nest on the ground. This area can be found in the Parsons Creamery, north-west of the Museum of Witchcraft.
Something worth noting, the DeathClaw at the nest will not attack you, and it is advised not to shoot at it or attack it. Furthermore, there is an optional task that players can take up, where you can take the egg and bring it to a Mr.Handy to get some extra caps. You can watch a video guide that MrMattyPlays made, as seen below.
The stats on the DeathClaw Gauntlet comes in with a base damage of 51, a weight of ten and a value of 75. The hardest part about the quest is fighting the Chameleon DeathClaw in the basement of the Museum, but besides that you should be able to retrieve the weapon with ease.
