The Crew already has an impressive array of vehicles, with close to 40 being available from dealers alone for money. There are, however, some bonus cars lying around that you can collect. These are called Hidden Cars and each region has one – that’s five cars in all. You’ll have to do a little exploration to find them but they are all manufacturer free and created by the developers themselves. Finding these vehicles can be a little tricky. That is until now, as Twinfinite offers a selection of guides to find all of the parts for each Hidden Car in The Crew.
In The Crew‘s Midwest, you can collect all of the parts for the vehicle pictured before, the Hotrod HuP One Street Spec. This vehicle has a high selection of base stats and can be upgraded using parts you find along the way. Most importantly though, the exhausts are on the side so your sweet blue nitrous flames spit out of there rather than the back end.
Below you’ll find a map showing each of the scrap part locations (click it to make it bigger). Also beneath this image are a selection of links to pages, each one detailing the location of the numbered parts. Right, enough chit chat, let’s go get you to all of those wrecks and into a sweet-ass ride for The Crew.
Note: Keep the image above open in a separate window to make it an easier point of reference.

A fairly simple find to being for The Crew‘s long slog to get all of the scrap parts, this first piece is hiding among the trees. Drive the dirt road to the east and turn west when you pass a sheet metal shack. You can’t miss it if your eyes stay peeled and you follow the blip from your radar.
Located in the small and sleepy town of Barron, this second piece of scrap is literally next to a couch. Drive along the road and look for a place to rest your legs to get this easiest of parts.
The Crew likes to put scrap parts in difficult places to get to. Scrap part number 3 is the epitome of this ideal, situated slap bang in the middle of what can only be described as the arse end of nowhere. There is nothing nearby that serves as a landmark. Just get to the section of the world where it is and drive to the center. Taking the route from the south to the north is slightly less arduous but it’s still far form a picnic.
This is another that’s hidden in the trees. If you travel across the north road and turn south at the exit for the lighthouse, you’ll come across this scrap part fairly easily. Don’t travel across the south road, however, as there’s a little thing called a river in the way.
This one is just outside of Dyckesville. The temptation is to drive into the small housing estate and try to hop over but that would be less than useless, as the fencing that surrounds the estate is impossible to break down. Instead, approach from the most north-easterly house and drive around to the back of this walling.
Situated Southwest of the Dakota Grasslands landmark, the 6th scrap piece to obtain the Street-spec Hotrod in The Crew requires a little offroading. Approach from the eastern road and turn west before heading towards the water tower. It is nestling in behind a shed but approaching from the east, you’ll be able to see it clear as day.
Just outside of Chicago’s western boundary, the 7th scrap part is having a day on the farm. Drive in a westerly direction out of Chicago and look out for a small driveway leading to a farm. The wreck itself is actually inside the barn.
Resting peacefully within a bunch of rocks, the 8th piece of the puzzle in this motorized jigsaw hides within the Badlands. If you approach the mountainous area from the south you’ll find the journey to this piece much easier and less crashy than coming down from the north. Those rocks don’t seem like much but a kiss from them will send you flying.
This scrap piece is one of The Crew‘s sneakiest and most irritating to find. Not because the location is difficult to get to mind. It’s simply because this little sod is cooped up on three sides by shipping containers. Drive around the paved edges of the Industrial Harbor’s central peninsula and at the northern pathway turn when you see blue containers close to the edge. Here lies your quarry.
The Crew really does like sticking these scrap wrecks into the forests. Even this one, which is no more than a second’s drive from the roadside, is hidden among the trees. Head south from the Monroe landmark and follow the road until you pass a small farm covered in grain silos. Turn right off the road 100 yards after the end of this small compound and you’ll be close to the 10th piece of the jigsaw.
Situated along the Lake Erie Shoreline, this 11th wreck isn’t a pain as much as a slight nuisance. If you’re approaching from the west along the coastal road there will be a town with a large town hall on the right hand side. Turn to the right when you come to a red-paneled home and enter a small courtyard of sorts between some houses. There are two pine trees which seem to be almost perfectly placed. Drive between them and boom, you’ve got the next piece.
This piece couldn’t be closer to the border if it was part of the wall. It looks as if it’s part of the next area but luckily it isn’t the case. Drive along the border road in a south-westerly direction. When you come across a bridge, keep your eyes out on the radar and be prepared to turn south. This piece is close to a pier, right on the edge of the water. Come in slowly if you want to avoid a sudden trip into the drink.
Planted in the beautiful Kansas Sunflower Fields of The Crew is a small farm on the most western edge. Drive south out of the town of Dorand and directly through the Kansas Sunflower Fields to find this one. In typical fashion for The Crew however it isn’t simply sat out in the sun. You’ll have to drive along the southern edge of the farm to find a small car port in among the silos. Simply drive in and the part is yours.
Time to head back into the forests for this one. Drive north and then west along the main road out of Greenup and follow this until the whole road turns south. Just before you meet a large forested area, veer around to the side which isn’t close to a road and drive until you meet this wreck. It’s only a couple of trees in.
It’s becoming clear now that in The Crew‘s version of America, no-one likes to wreck cars close to civilized areas. To get this 15th piece it’s a good idea to bring along a Raid-spec vehicle if you have one. Failing that just be ready to bounce around a bit. If you head toward Pikes Peak then continue in a south-easterly direction the wreck will be waiting on top of a hill situated off the edge of a mountain.
After all of those off-road excursions in The Crew, the 16th wreck is in a much easier location. Simply drive towards the Near North Riverfront area of St Louis. Keep an eye out for large grassed areas between a trio of buildings. This wreck is in the back corner of one.
On the south side of St Louis sit a pair of long barges. They’re just there, floating in the river. This wreck seems to be taking a long look at them because it is on the river bed close to them. Take the bridge out of St Louis on the south side (if you’re at the refineries, you need to go more south) and follow them river’s edge after crossing it. When you can see the barges you’re close to the part.
Remember wreck number 15? Well you’re going back there for this 18th wreck in the endless quest to get the Street-spec Hotrod of The Crew. Drive south west out of St Loid and head towards the Mountain States. On the edge of the Central Woods there’s a small truck stop. Turn south at this truck stop and the wreck will be on the right hand side just waiting for you to give it a big hug.
For this 19th part you’re going to be spending a little time traveling through the Bluegrass Region of the Midwest. South to be exact. Drive all the way south through this area until you come to a river. This wreck is on the river side close to the most southern tip of the peninsula. If you find yourself in the South or on the East Coast you’ve gone a little too far.
Here we are. The final piece to the puzzle to get that sweet, shiny Hotrod in The Crew. After all of that trekking across rolling hills and rivers, this one is refreshingly simple. Drive on the main route south out of St Louis and turn off to the west towards Central Plains. Then turn back up past the landmark radio tower until you come to a small farm. The final part is nestled deep within a bunch of silos. Look in the carport and that’s your lot. All 20 pieces.
