Become Tien’s Apprentice

The three-eyed bestie with a heart of gold and the power to blind his foes wants to be your mentor! Solar flare! The first part of Tien’s mentor quest in Dragon Ball XenoVerse is much like others in that you simply need to prove your strength by beating the ever loving crap out of the beloved Dragon Ball Z hero. Once you finish this one out of seven stars battle, you’ll get Tien as your mentor and potentially some rewards!

• High Mix Capsule
• All-Energy Crystal
• All-Regen Crystal
• Volleyball Fist

That was easy, wasn’t it? Once you’re done, leave and level up to access Tien’s next mentor quest.

 

Volleyball Fist! Here I Go!

A two out of seven stars battle awaits you with Tien’s next quest. He wants you to fight him again, but this time, you must finish Tien off with Volleyball Fist. This is a move you got from his first quest. Do this in under five minutes and you have a chance at these rewards:

• 800 zeni
• All-Energy Capsule L
• High Mix Capsule
• All-Aura Crystal
• All-Guard Crystal
• Dodon Ray

After this ridiculously easy battle (mentors get very difficult), let’s move on to the third quest in Tien’s mentor line.

 

Turtle Hermit VS Crane School

This battle is three out of seven stars in difficulty. You’ll be facing against the two most disliked Dragon Ball Z characters, so it should be fun, right? Just defeat Krillin and Yamcha with the help of Tien in under five minutes to possibly get these rewards:

• 1,000 zeni
• All-Energy Capsule Z
• Antidote Essence
• Shape Up Essence
• Soul Echo Device
• Tri-Beam

After this, you only have the final battle to complete Tien’s mentor quest line, congratulations!

 

Mastery

Tien’s final mentor battle is four out of seven stars. This is absolutely nothing compared to the much harder mentors like Beerus or Goku. So don’t worry, you’ve got this. Just get his health down and use Tri-Beam (learned with the last quest) within five minutes and you’ll possibly net these rewards:

• Energy Capsule Z
• Ultimate Mix Capsule
• Soul Echo Device
• Soul Diffusion Mix Dev.
• Neo Tri-Beam
