This intel is at the very beginning of the game. When the opening cutscene is over, simply run over to the right after you touchdown and it will be on a dead grunt located in between two Covenant containers.
After you break through the icicle wall with the new Spartan Charge ability, stick to the left side until you see a small ledge that you can jump onto. The data pad will be there next to a dead Covenant.
When you enter the first large area (you’ll be able to tell by the size and the amount of fighting going on in the distance), you’ll want to stick to the right side of the map, hopping on ledges as you go. You’ll eventually see a stacked set of rock pillars that you’ll have to jump over to. There should be a dead grunt and some weapons. On the ledge right above that grunt, there will be a data pad that you can collect.
After you pass the area that the Kraken was at, there will be a left path that you can take that leads into an icicle cavern. Walk along that path but stick to the right end of that path, keeping an eye on the ledges below as you’ll eventually see a small ledge that you can drop down with a dead grunt lying on it and a data pad that you can collect.
After clearing out the large battlefield with the turrets to the right, instead of proceeding through the door, go to where the turrets were. You should see another platform nearby that you can drop down to. Near the ledge of that platform should be another data pad.
This one is pretty simple. While proceeding through the mission inside, there will be a big window over to your right overlooking the battlefield with a bunch of aircraft flying around. Right by that window is another datapad.
Before you leave the final area. to the right of the exit is a ledge. Climb on that and then there should be another smaller ledge right above that. Right there will be the last piece of intel for Halo 5: Guardians Mission 1: Osiris.
In the beginning of the mission, you’ll pass a big red glowing terminal that is malfunctioning, simply walk over to it and activate it to get the first piece of intel.
In the next room where you fight a small group of enemies, there will another terminal that is behind a big giant computer pillar. to the right of your path. Activate to get this intel.
Clear out the large battlefield room that you have to fight through to get the central control. Run straight to the end of this room. You’ll eventually see a small path that turns right and a set of ledges. Climb to the top of these ledges and there will lie a data pad.
Once in level 3 of the tunnel area, there will be a set of boxes blocking a vent. Charge through it, proceed down the mini hall way, and you’ll eventually come across a data pad.
As you proceed through the mission, you’ll eventually enter a room with big windows overlooking an asteroid field. You’ll go through a vault door and dead ahead is a terminal that you can access for more intel.
After dealing with the hunters, in that same room, there should be a dead human body near where you came in via the elevator. Lying next to him is another data pad.
When you enter the room with the four big pillars, if you look around them you should notice a orange lighted terminal station with a dead body lying up next to it. Access it for the intel.
Like intel 5, another terminal will appear right in front of you as you’re moving through the hangar area with the red striped floor. It will be dead ahead after you go through the caution taped malfunctioning vault doors. Access it for the final piece of intel in Mission 2 of Halo 5: Guardians.
After you go through security, you’ll see a big giant green Welcome to Meridian electronic sign. Hang a right once you see that and head all the way to the back of that room. Hop over the ramps and bars and by the wall you’ll find a data pad.
Once you are in the large outdoor area hang a left, and walk towards the wall until you see some containers covered in tarps. There will be a radio that you can access there for more intel.
Underneath the Security building right before you reach it (can’t miss it, giant big sign saying Security), there will be an entrance to a small room that has a data pad in it on top of a chair.
As you’re riding through the vehicle section, stick to the right and hop off whatever you’re on when you see a crashed ship with some bright red containers in front of it. Right behind where those two containers meet the ship, is another radio for more intel.
As you proceed through the mission, you’ll see another big green electronic signs that says “Traffic Ahead”. Instead of going down that path, hang to the left and you’ll be a small outdoor room with a desk that has a data pad on top of it.
In Garage 14 there is a giant Scorpion. Right behind it is your final data pad.
Right before you enter Meridian Station, you’ll see a sign that says “Meridian Station.” Instead of going through to it, hang a right and along the wall you’ll see to yellow canisters. A data pad will be right on top.
Now that you’re inside Meridian Station, you’re going to want to take a hard left and up a ramp onto a landing pad. Once on the pad, take another hard left. You’ll see some kind of yellow vehicle. To the right of it is a black box with a data pad on top of it.
Head to the left towards Unit 14 and then hang a slight ride until you see a building with a tarped off roof and a vending machine. There’s a light blue garbage can with a data pad on top of it.
Climb the Supplies building to find another data pad located on top of a crate.
Climb the building next to the Supplies building and directly across of the Medical Unit. Hop up as high as you can and you should be able to get to a ledge with a green and black box on top of it. There’s a data pad on those boxes.
Just as you pass the Supplies building on (while it’s on your left), there’s some kind of box propped up against the next building in an alley way. On top of it is another piece of intel.
Directly across from the supplies building is the Medical Unit building. Hop up on top of its roof, follow until you can reach another ledge and there you will find another data pad.
Go all the way to the far back right of the station. Staying right whenever you can. You’ll eventually hit a dead end. If you see an orange forklift you’re in the right spot. Right next to the forklift is a grey box with a data pad on top of it.
Head right to left right when you come in and move towards the back wall. You’ll find some rubble near yellow containers. That’s where you’ll find intel number 1, a radio.
Right before the next major area, you’ll eventually pass a green electronic sign to your right that says “Attention ! ! !”. Hang a hard right and hop onto that ledge. A data pad will be sitting on top of one of the chairs in the back of that little room.
Head up the ramp after battling the Prometheans, hang a right until you get to a corner with a blue chair. The intel is once again sitting on top of the chair.
Eventually the mission will ask you to hop aboard a Pelican. Before you do though, instead run to the back of it where you’ll find another data pad.
You’l eventually come across a group of snipers. There’s a gravel ramp that you can take up where you’ll find a big orange/yellow building. Right in front is a vent that you can charge through and find another data pad.
In the large mining area, there will be pipes running along the right side. Stick to the wall until you can climb up a ledge that has a radio on it for you to collect.
As soon as you cross the bridge going over the lava, hang a hard left, go up the stairs and follow the path to the end where you’ll find a data pad on a stack of boxes.
Despite the urgency, before you head into the first building, hop off your vehicle and climb up the big tower to the right of it. You can probably guess what you’ll find at the top.
Once you’re inside thanks to Governor Sloan, raise a lift located inside which will give you access to a radio that is right to your left when you reach the top.
Staying in the large room that Governor Sloan let you into, head towards the right to find a the intel on a scaffolding along the wall.
Once in the mine shaft area, there should be a slanted bunker looking building with a bunch of vents. Charge through them all to get the intel in the locker room.
As your scaling the ramps in the mine shaft area, there will be a burning structure to your right. That’s your landmark to hop off the path onto a short ledge right below where a data pad will be laying in front of the Liang Dorthmund sign.
As your scaling the ramps in this final area area, Look off the ledges for a narrow ledge with a bright blue sign and a hard hat sitting on a small crate. There will also be a data pad on that box.
When you drop in, stay along the left side until you reach a fork to the left. Follow the path until you find a dead grunt with a data pad.
When you enter the area where you fight the Covenant, hang a right until you see a big tree. Follow the path around the tree right into a data pad along the ledge.
Hop down below to the crash site, follow the right side, and hop over a couple of ledges. Behind you as you were hopping you’ll be able to see a small dark cave. Jump in there to find another data pad.
As you progress, you’ll come across two Covenant on turrets. Check the area below the turrets for a terminal that you can access.
You’ll eventually end up in a cavern. Progress through but keep an eye on your right side. You’ll eventually see a path split off and a suspicious looking wall that you can charge through. Do it, and you’ll find another terminal right underneath the waterfall (the water is hitting it).
After speaking to the Warden, continue down the middle until you discover a big hole. Right to the left of the hole is another terminal you can access.
Cross the light bridge after speaking to Cortana. As soon as you cross it, you’ll see a big piece of cover propped up. Right behind it is the final terminal for this mission.
Hug the right side when you come in and hop up the ledges. Go up the steps towards the right and you’ll find a sword to examine on the ground for your intel.
Follow the river until you see an extremely odd crooked sculpture of some kind. Walk behind it, follow the path around, and you’ll see a dead body lying next to another log.
You’ll eventually come across some enemies. Defeat them, keep going, drop down into the water again, and look for a waterfall. Run through the waterfall to find a small cave and some more intel.
Keep going and you’ll eventually come face to face with a turret. At that point hug the right wall, go up the ledges, until you find another log on the wall near to a glowing container.
Now go past the turret, into the next area. Head straight back until you see a pile of rocks and rubble stacked on each other. You’ll see an energy sword and right by it is another data pad.
In the next area where you fight the Covenant look down towards the bottom. Look for a dead body alongside a ledge, there is a data pad right nearby its body.
In this same area there is a large rock in the middle, traverse your way up to the top using the ledges to get the sword that is on top for intel.
Progress through and you’ll see a crashed Covenant ship along with you making a comment about their reinforcements. Hang a left at this point and look behind one of the rock pillars for a dead body and yet another data pad.
Back track to where you entered for the last one, and this time go right. Hug the wall and enter a small cave. Ground pound where the ground looks cracked. Follow the path back out and to the left you’ll see a canister with a data pad on it.
Once in the couryard with the giant energy sword statue, use it to climb up to the ledge on the right. Follow that path to the end and in the right corner will be a data pad.
Before entering the room with the giant face on it, there’s a hole in the wall to the left of it. Jump in there, follow the path and find a data pad underneath the statue.
Once in the flooded courtyard, avoid the gate and go to the right. In the sand along where the water meets the wall, you’ll find the last data pad.
Turn around once you are able to control Locke. Climb up the rocks behind you and you’ll find the data pad towards the back.
OK turn back around, and hug the left wall until you can climb up a few ledges. Now look to your right, cross the bridge, follow the path and the data pad will be to your left.
Look for the Covenant medical camp, head to the right up the ramp and on top of a pillar over looking them you’ll find another piece of intel.
Now in that same area, run up the left side. You’ll see a Grunt hanging on a ledge. From there you’ll see a pillar you can jump to. Go ahead and do that and grab the intel that is there.
At the camp, look for a small cave with two cauldrons filled with purple glowing smoke (or whatever IDK what the heck it is). In that room is another piece of intel.
Look for a large pillar towards the back of the camp with an Elite standing near it. You need to get to the top of that for the next intel. Use the rock formations to the side to get the ledge across from the large pillar so you can jump to it.
To the left of the Pelican is a large canister/crate, there is a data pad right in front of it.
There are ruin stairs along the side of Palmer’s ship. Hug the right side until you find a ledge with a crate and a data pad. Look for the Elite standing over the ledge as he is located right by the crate.
When you come across a waterfall, hop down the ravine to the left. Hug the left wall and you’ll eventually come across a scanable artifact.
Look for two rocks making a X-shaped formation in front of a cave. Hug the left side up the little ledge to find another artifact.
As you progress and battle some more Covenant you’ll eventually emerge out of a cave and into a more open area overlooking a vista of the canyon. To your left there is a small ledge underneath a statue with a data pad on it. Go ahead and grab it.
Once out in the open after destroying the shield generator, to your right you’ll see a keyhole shaped cave. Head on in there and grab another data pad.
While in the big open area, traversable by vehile, you should see another key hole shaped doorway down the middle. Stick to the left of it this time and go through the passageway that has the grunts in it. In that small little cave is another data pad located near some crates.
Same area, now this time hug the right side until you hit a dead end with two energy shields in front of it. Turn around and climb the rock formations that are behind you. A top the one to the right is another data pad.
When you reach the area with the turrets hug the right wall. You’ll eventually be able to see the top of a marble-esque ridge. On top of it is another data pad.
Once your in the area with the turrets and the creepy statues and doorways, leap across the statues in the middle to reach a little ledge along the right side for another data pad. The ledge is to the left of the giant statue of the alien holding the sword.
Facing the giant scary doorway, got through the middle. You’ll eventually find two bubble shields. In between them is a structurally weak wall that you can charge through. Do it, and find another data pad in that secret room under the shield.
In front of where the Kraken was are Forerunner platforms. On it is a terminal that you can access.
343i tries to fool you again here with the ole’ turn around when you spawn in trick. So yeah, turn around and look for the data pad need the boxes near a ledge.
As you progress towards the left side you’ll see a scaleable stone structure overlooking a camp. Scale it, and grab the data pad up top.
Climb the rocks up to a high area overlooking the camps and ships. That’s where you’ll find the next data pad.
Scale the rocks near the Arbiter. You’ll come across a box atop one of those rocky ledges. There will also be a data pad there.
In order to get the last piece of intel, you’ll need to scale the purple hut looking buildings near where you found the last intel. You’ll need to climb three in order to reach the ledge where the last data pad lies.
Well the data pad is still behind you, but this time 343i gets a little more advanced with it. You need to get atop from where you started by moving up a little bit and using the ledges along the left side to circle back to the beginning and get on top of the purple pillar with the data pad and Needler on it.
Once you’ve reached the second turret, go to the building on your left and follow along until you reach a terminal that you can peruse for intel.
In the open large area with all of the purple top shaped buildings, towards the right after you cross the bridge there will be a platform with one of those purple buildings and four glowing smoke cauldrons. Atop that structure along the edge of the roof is another data pad.
Towards the back away from the objective, is another data pad that is resting on another ridge of another one of those purple buildings.
Look for the platform with the two bubble shields on them towards the right side of the area. There is a data pad in the back of this platform.
Once you’re out of the elevator, you’ll find a dead Covenant on the ground. He’s clutching to an Artifact that you can collect for intel.
Above your head where you end up after you meet the Guardian, lies another data pad. Walk up a little bit and turn around to reach the ledges.
Right before you catch up to the Arbiter (you’ll go up a ramp and through a door) you can take a separate path to the right leading to a ledge with a sword for you to scan.
To the left of the path that you drive the Scorpion on, you’ll see some Ghosts and a data pad on the ground near a dead body.
Stay left and you’ll eventually see a break in the wall leading to a ledge with a dead Grunt and a data pad as well as a special weapon.
Same thing but instead of heading towards the ledge, climb up the rock formation and follow along a path that leads to a broken constructor.
As you continue you on you’ll see a crashed Pelican to your left. There is a data pad on top of it.
Look for a bright white Forerunner platform to your left in the large open area where you battle the Knights. There will be a terminal there.
Same area but this time go up the middle, cross a white Forerunner bridge, and just as it ends and becomes rocky again, climb the formation to your left for another constructor to scan.
There is a ridge with a Spartan Laser nearby where you fight the Knights. Grab the laser and grab the data pad that’s near by.
Hug right in the area after you fight Warden Eternal #1, across a Forerunner platform leading to yet another data pad.
In the same area, climb the left side formations until you find a data pad on a ledge.
On the left side of the Forerunner structures, you’ll find another terminal in a room on the second level. Walk up a ramp near the bridge to find it.
Once again, turn around and access the console right behind you when you start to the left.
Andddd again. This time turn around to the right side. Same thing, different corner.
Stick the middle of the map when you enter the large area with the Forerunners. Stay underneath everything and eventually you’ll come across an underpass split in two. There will be a console to scan once you exit that mini hall way right to either your left or right (depending which side you took when the overpass splits the way).
Near by where you encountered The Warden, there is a bottom platform land marked by two bright white objects. Head in there and scan the console.
Go up the middle when you’re on the top platform where you encounter the Knights, and you’ll find a final console to scan.
Look on the ramp to the left of where you leave the area with the imprisoned enemies.
Same as before but look for the right ramp.
Climb the platform in the middle of the first battle area to find a data pad to scan.
To the left of the Alpha Core there is a crashed Covenant ship with intel right beside it.
From the last intel, follow the path to the right and to your left there will be a scaleable wall with a another scanable object up top.
Same idea, but go right past that first wall that you climbed and drive further along to find another ledge, that you can climb and another constructor for you to scan.
Again, start at the downed Covenant ship, but now you’re going to keep going forward. Hug the left wall until you find a dark tunnel with a data pad about half way through it.
Head towards Episilon Core, and you’ll eventually come across a tunnel with a lonely Ghost inside. There is scanable intel beside it.
Towards the middle of the map, you’ll find Ghosts and an busted Warthog. Up on the ledge overlooking that is another data pad.
Search for a ledge with a crashed UNSC ship above Gamma Core for your last intel. Congrats!
