With patch 1.2, would-be Jedi and Sith are swarming back to Star Wars: The Old Republic. If you're among those masses, then it's time to boost your stats by collecting all of the hidden datacrons throughout the galaxy. Sure, you might've found one or two by now (or maybe even most), but our complete step-by-step guide will transform you from a Padawan to Master in no time.

This one’s a pain in the ass. First, go find the vendor just south of Tarlarn Outpost (1869, 1091, picture above) and buy the Red Detonite Actuator for 2,000 credits.
Next, find the entrance to the cave in which the datacron is located (along with tons of level 40 elites) at 2373, 2449. Once inside, the datacron is behind a cave wall (see map). You will will see a flashing red light--that’s where you use the Actuator to blow the wall and reach the datacron.
First, travel to the damaged lift at 1091, -10.
Here, you have to ride the lift to the little island the datacron is on. The lift moves very slowly, so be patient.
To reach this datacron, you must ride the Thranta located at -415, -209.
Enter Castle Panteer and find the broken door at -2489, -370.
Enter the crack in the door, run up the stairs, and locate the datacron.
There are two ways to reach this datacron. First, you can buy the Magnetically Guided Grappling System (MCGS) from the vendor located at 1867, 1088 and use it to grapple to the datacron’s location.
Or, you can jump across some terrain and reach it. To do this, go to the location above (2218, 406). Jump along the terrain, wrap around the mountain...
...and jump down to the dam ledge. From here, jump up the ladder to reach the datacron.
This one is locked inside of a space chest. First, go under the platforms to the water below Bug Town and find the vendor across the pond at 672, 38 (see map).
Buy a Lost Code Cylinder from him, then take it to the space chest on the broken bridge at 191, -346.
Located inside the Okara Droid Factory at -1024, 136.
Once inside, take the lift down to the Assembly Line.
Go behind one of the assembly lines and jump down to the ground floor. There is a hidden entrance behind one of the columns. Once inside, drop onto the pipe with datacron.
Just south of Lower Sundari Outpost in the Gorinth Canyon is a hidden passage, which is located at 716, 1856. Follow it to the datacron.
This is located inside the Colicoid Queen’s Nest (entrance at -190, -291).
Find the hidden passage inside the chamber to the left at -358, -230.
First, follow the road south of Lower Makaran Outpost into Gorinth Canyon.
Follow along the road until you find the pipe extending from the western cliff (see above image and map).
Run
along the pipe and look for the datacron on the other side of the canyon.
(Some are the same as Republic locations)
Follow the road south out of Sundari Imperial Outpost to Gorinth Canyon. Head to the secret path at 690, 149 (see map).
Follow path to datacron.
Located inside the Okara Droid Factory at -1024, 136.
Once inside, take the lift down to the Assembly Line. Go behind one of the assembly lines and jump down to the ground floor.

This one is locked inside of a space chest. First, go under the platforms to the water below Farnel Research Facility and find the vendor across the pond at 672, 38 (see map).
Buy a Lost Code Cylinder from him, then take it to the space chest on the broken bridge at 191, -346.
Run through the Balmorran Arms Factory and take the elevator up to the second level. Exit the factory and run to the docks on the east side of the map. The datacron is underneath the northernmost dock.
This one requires two people. Enter the Neebray Warehouse located at (-472, 1924) and use the elevator to get to the second level.
Here, both you and a party member must simultaneously activate the two switches to lower the force field and reach the datacron.
Located in the High Security Section. Find the hidden path at -841, 791 and follow it to the datacron.
Also in the High Security Section. In the northernmost section of the map is a crater-like cave.
Go inside (beware of the level 41 Elites and Champion) and follow the cave to the datacron.
Find the hidden passage entrance in the Maximum Security Section at -2131, 294.
Once you go through the passage, hug the rocks to the right and wrap around the lava. You’ll find the datacron on a ledge.
This one is a pain in the ass. It’s in the middle of a volcano in the The Tomb area of Belsavis. You kind of have to use a terrain exploit to reach it (unless you’ve found a way to presumably activate the magical light bridge nearby).
Circle around the rocks and keep trying to jump up onto the rock shown here.
Once on top, circle around the ledge to the left, be careful not to fall off.
Reach the rock above the datacron in picture D. Get on your speeder and jump for the datacron.
This is a pretty time consuming datacron to obtain; to get it, you must find four Rakata Energy Cubes that spawn randomly around The Tomb zone. They look similar to datacrons but don’t have the beacon-like hue of color. With the Rakata Energy Cubes in your possession, head through the path that leads through the giant tree at -533, -2167. Go down the elevator in the middle of the passage, insert the four energy cubes into the console units, and the datacron will be released.
First, head to Labor Valley and find the pipe attached to the canopy in picture A.
Once atop the canopy, wait for the crane with the fighter attached to move nearby. Jump on the fighter and ride it over to the scaffolding.
Here, jump down and climb the steel beam. There’s a mechanical arm that moves vertically. Jump on it, ride it up, and jump onto the highest crate.
Jump into the adjacent room, find the steel beam in picture E, and climb it to reach the datacron.
Located in the Blastfield Shipyards. See video.
Go to Labor Valley. Next, find this fake door in the southeast corner (see map). Go through it, head through the tunnel, and find the datacron atop some shipping crates.
First, head into Port Pevaria in the Government District, located at 3279, -3102 (see map).
Once inside, head down to the shipping indent on the map.
There is a crack in the wall near the staircase - head through and run along the pipes.
You’ll find the datacron below some scaffolding.
In the Government District, head to the broken building (see map)
Inside, run up the angled beam and wait for the beam-like elevator to come down.
Jump on time, ride it to the top, and you should see the datacron on a ledge across from you. Position yourself behind the explosive tank so that when you blow it up it launches you to the datacron’s location.
Head to the giant pile of rubble in the northeast corner of Labor Valley (see map).
Run up the girder and follow the overhang around the building until you reach a destroyed bridge. Jump up the steel pipe and onto the scaffolding.
Walk above the middle of the broken bridge and hop down onto the bottom level of the bridge (not on top of the ceiling).
The datacron is on top of a box.
First make a pit stop in Alderann, find the vendor in picture / map above and purchase the MGGS.
Head to Corellia. Once there, take the shuttle to Axial Park and head inside the Corellian Museum of Starships at 411, -1821.
Take the elevator to the right top reach the shuttle pad. Now jump on the left wing of the ship and hop onto the roof.
Follow it until you reach the ledge sticking out and hop down onto the ledge below.
Follow the ledge until you can see the Magnetic Stabalizer on the roof of the building across from you seen in the image above. Activate it to use your MGGS and propel yourself up to the roof.
Now head into the passageway and follow it to the datacron.
Located in the Incorporation Islands. Head to the ledge on the map (-2290, -35) and look down.
You should see carrier droids flying below. You have to time a jump off the ledge and land on the droid. It will take you directly to the datacron.
Head to the location on the map in the Old Galactic Market - you must use an elevator to reach the datacron.
Head to The Works and head to the location in the map (1165, -2282).
Jump up on the boxes and onto the drainage pipe.
Keep running along the pipe until you reach the junction above.
Jump across to the left-most set of pipes and continue on until you reach the gap above.
Jump the gap onto the next set of pipes, follow it up, and you’ll reach the datacron.
Located in Mezzanine of the Jedi Temple.
Head to the broken archway above.
Run up the makeshift ramp and turn around - you should see the datacron glowing in the distance.
Run along the ledge and jump down onto the datacron’s platform.
Located in the Black Sun Territory. Find the trash heap above (see map for exact location).
Behind the junk pile is a series of boxes and barrels. Ascend the trash until you reach the ledge above. Follow it and cross the pipe to your right.
Then cross back along the pipe farther up as shown above.
You’ll see the datacron off to the right - continue along the path to reach it.
In Justicar Territory, ascend the crates seen above.
Next, travel across the pipe and jump on the series of pipes it leads to.
Climb up the arched pipe seen here...
...and jump onto the raised platform to reach the datacron.
First, go to the south elevator of the Dromund Kaas Spaceport on the map and go to Docking Bay D-61.
Next, run up the ramp and head to the crates to the right at the top.
Drop down onto the steel beams above and run to the datacron.
Take a left on the path right after you exit Dromund Kaas Spaceport. Follow it until it dead ends and look to the right of some glowing plants (seen above) to find a secret passage.
Follow this to the datacron.
Run to the fork in the road just west of Kaas City and jump up onto this set of rocks (seen above).
You’ll need to run around this path to drop down to the datacron’s location, which can be seen in the distance.
First, head to the hidden entrance to the datacron, which is found at -22, -117 (picture A).
Follow the path to the datacron.
Find the hidden path near Lord Grathan’s Estate (above)--it’s near the small pond at -690, -45.
Follow this to reach the datacron.
Glacial Fissure area. Find the cave at 1031, 57.
Once inside, follow it and jump up on the ledge near the satellite dish to reach the location in the image above.
From here, follow the ledge around, and jump down to the lower area (it’s quite the drop) to the location above.
From here, follow the trail and enter the cave.
This leads to the ledge on which the datacron is located.
Buy a Hydro-Thinner from the Cantina vendor right near where you land on the planet. Next, head to coordinates -738, 69 in Highmount Ridge.
You’ll find the datacron frozen in a block of ice. Use the Hydro-Thinner to melt the ice and claim the datacron.
Head to the Jedi Encampment (a heroic zone) in the northeast Starship Graveyard (2766, 52). Once inside, find the snowy ledge above.
Jump up the ledge and head across the path to the archway that covers the entrance to the Encampment (second image).
Jump down onto the archway, and jump down again to the location here.
Follow it to the crashed spaceship, and run along the ledge of the ship. Occasionally, you’ll have to run around giant chunks of ice and back onto the outer rim of the ship.
You will eventually reach a ice chunk that you must ascend to the second level of the ship’s outer ledge.
Once on the second level, circle back and you’ll find the datacron.
You’ll need to enter the Star of Coruscant at 2965, -53. Once inside, head to the elevator at the back.
On the second level, jump on the forklift shown here.
Jump across the crates and wait for the crane in the above image.
Ride it across and jump to the crates to the west.
Ride the second moving crate, and jump onto the crate that rises vertically.
Once on top, simply jump to the datacron’s location.
First, head to the Clabburn Tundra to the location on the map (-4095,f 114). You need to kill a level 47 elite Ancient Droid and loot a depleted datacron from its body.
Next, take the cube to the location in the Starship Graveyard shown here.
You’ll take the ramp on the south wall from within the Star of Coruscant and use the recharge station on the cube.
This datacron is located on a hill that you can only reach by ascending a pipe leaning up against it.
It’s hidden by some tree branches halfway down the hill.
Enter the underground sewers filled with elite enemies.
Enter the area pictured in the map and destroy the B3-4T Disposal Droid to reach the datacron.
On the small island in the NE corner of the map.
Run across the pipeline that starts at 497, -13 to get there.
Find the lift in the map above (coordinates 221, -4).
Ride the lift down, and collect the datacron.
You have to run through an exhaustion zone to reach the datacron. First, head to the passage in the map (coordinates 1061, -3).
Run along the Eastern Ice Shelf into the snow-heavy exhaustion zone and hug the right wall until you reach the datacron.
Located inside one of the huts in the Republic Base Camp.
Located in a building just outside the Imperial Base.
Head to the northwestern most point in the Eastern Ice Shelf area - it’s a heroic area. You need to find the ice ramp down into the valley (picture / map above, coordinates 936, -11).
Now follow the valley until you reach the cave in picture / map above. The datacron is located inside.
This datacron can be seen as soon as you leave the taxi station in the Lower Wilds.
Right near the shuttle.
In the open area right before entering the heroic quest tombs.
Head to the Network Access area and run up to the end of the path in picture / map A (coordinates 1950, -1567).
Jump down onto the pipe in picture B, heal up, and jump down to the ledge below with the taxi on it.
Take this and it will drop you off next to the datacron.
Located in the Slums of the Duros Sector - you’ll have to jump on top a bunch of boxes and equipment to reach it. Start at the set of crates in the picture / map (coordinates 1599, -3176).
Jump onto the crates and up to the series of beams shown above.
Jump on the beams to reach the platform.
Next, jump onto the canvas to the adjacent platform and take the elevator to the Residential Catwalks.
Upon exiting, jump on the pipes to your immediate left...
...jump onto the canvas from the adjacent platform, and reach the datacron.
Head to the Corellian Sector and jump up onto the awning in the image directly above.
Wait for the kiosk to float by, jump on top, and ride it to the datacron’s platform.
Head to the northeast corner of the Nikto sector to the location in the picture / map above (coordinates -3298, 226).
Jump up onto the series of crates and onto the canvas.
Run up the second anchor line. Jump onto the nearby pipe, follow it to the end, and jump to the second set of pipes.
Once atop the platform, carefully jump to the thin sign and on to the balcony. You’ll see the datacron glowing in the distance; drop down onto the anchor line from the platform shown here and make your way to it.
Go to the Gauntlet Gang Area in the Red Light Sector via elevator. Head to the area in the picture / map (coordinates 3689, -1522).
Jump up on the crates and awning to reach the ledge shown above.
Take the elevator to reach the datacron.
Head to the location in picture / map A in Shadow Town (coordinates 2301, -1547).
Jump up the crates onto the ledge and run until you reach the path that extends from the right.
Once across, jump on the crates to the left and onto the beams...
...then hop onto the panel.
Now jump onto the series of pipes shown here...
...until you reach the balcony here and take the elevator.
Follow the path until you reach the datacron.
First, make your way to the High Security Lockdown section of Nar Shaddaa (can be reached from the Republic Research Division elevator that leads to the Network Security District). Find the location in the above picture / map (coordinates 2033, -1575).
Jump up onto the crates and follow the ramp up to a catwalk. Follow that to the elevator terminal seen here.
Take it down to the incinerator room, jump down to the ground level, and quickly access the computer terminal.
You’ll need to enter the correct code: 326:3827 (second on the list) to stop the damage and access the datacron.
Start by heading to the Network Security District (via the Republic Research Division) and go to the boxes in the picture / map (coordinates 1703, -1567).
Jump up the crates and along the obvious path of pipelines to the upper platform.
Here, find the slot machine that houses the datacron; to access it, you must have previously obtained the Cunning +3 datacron and the slot decoder inside it.
Find this railing in the northwest section of Mannet Point (see above map).
Jump down onto the beach and follow it north to the datacron.
Super easy to reach - just follow the beach to the location pictured in the map (coordinates -972, 8).
On top of Savrik Island. Start running up the island at the location in the image above (coordinates -717, -520).
Then it’s just a short jog to the datacron.
Head to the pipe shown above (see above map).
Jump up on to the ledge above the pipe and head to the right until you reach the ledge shown here.
Jump down and follow the fence until you find a break.
Head through and locate the datacron inside (see map for exact location).
Find the cave entrance just south of the Imperial Outpost at -9, 62.
Once inside, find the computer terminal just outside the central chamber. If you don’t have a friend with you, position yourself so you can reach the switch from inside the chamber (as seen above). Activating this will seal off the room and fill it with poisonous gas, which must be vented by activating two terminals from inside. First, activate the easternmost terminal, then the western one. This will deactivate the force field at the south end of the room, which is where the datacron is located.
Jump up onto this stone slab near the Imperial Garrison wall at 474, 146.
Just keep following the path
until you reach the datacron.
Located in the Research Level of the Dynamet General Hospital. Locate the entrance in picture / map A (coordinates -446, -165 - enter from the north).
Once inside, follow the corridor until you reach a split; take the right path and find the pile of junk blocking a hidden doorway in the above image (see appropriate map).
Jump over the junk pile and follow the path to the datacron.
This requires TWO people to get. Enter the Abandoned Power Plant in the southern-most part of the Tularan Marsh (picture / map, coordinates 948, -176).
Once inside, find the control panel in above image (map coordinates 1062, -187).
One player must activate the panel while the other stands on top the venting unit right in front of the console (seen above). This will launch the player up on top of a series of pipes leading to the datacron.
Enter Transport Station 5, which is located in the western edge of the Tularan Marsh (see above picture / map, coordinates 391, -185).
Follow the path to the northeastern most room and locate the ramp seen above (see map, coordinates 1127, -151).
Run along the thin pipe and jump up the catwalks to the datacron.
Enter the heroic area in the Republic Resettlement Zone and follow the path up the hill until you reach the wall structure above (coordinates -1375, -193). Jump up on the ledge and follow the railing on the wall.
Keep following the path and you’ll come to a grate just above a crashed ship.
Jump onto the hull of the ship and onto the pipe sticking out from the right side shown here.
Follow the pipe until it ends and hop down onto the ledge.
Follow it to the roof of a crashed ship seen here and jump down through the hull to reach the datacron.
Start at the location in picture / map in the Tularan Marsh (coordinates 1180, -169).
Run up the pipe and head to the ledge seen above.
Jump onto the flat area below and continue along the series of platforms to the left.
Then jump onto the wall-like structure in the image above and follow it to the datacron’s location.
Head to the fallen pillar in the northeast section of The Sinking City (picture / map, coordinates 371, -219).
Run up the pillar, jump on to the platform to the right, and head underneath the pillar you used to get up top. Here you need to jump onto the dark-colored wall shown above.
Follow this path along and jump onto the next ledge.
This next part’s tricky; you’ll need to jump down onto the thin gray beam in the image above. Now just continue to follow the path along to the datacron.
This one’s pretty simple to reach; head to the Abandoned Pirate Cave in the southwest corner of The Brell Sediment (picture / map, coordinates -751, -235).
Head inside and take the elevator down to the Republic Mines. Next, head to the room in the center. Jump up onto the forklift...
...and just jump around from the pipes and crates to reach the datacron.
Located in Mos Ila on top of the bank. First, find the large rock cliff at 451, 512 (see picture / map). Jump from the rocks to the large canvas and to the building the canvas attaches to.
Run along this building till you reach the wall that spans the main path.
Travel across the bridge and jump across the pipe and onto the steam vent to reach the location in picture C.
Here, jump onto the steel beam and jump across the object in picture D to reach the adjacent building.
Wrap around the building and jump to the next building in picture E.
Finally, jump down onto the bank rooftop to secure the datacron.
This datacron is located in the Jundland region inside a cave occupied by elite Sand People. To enter the cave you must first jump over the cliff shown above (coordinates 2094, 438).
Run through the cave to reach the datacron.
Head to the Jundland Transport Ship Crash Site (in Jundland) to the western edge of the upper ridge (coordinates -606, 521). You’ll see the datacron below; carefully jump down the face of the cliff to reach it.
Both are located on the same isolated Sandcrawler in The Dune Sea. Unfortunately, the only way to get to them is by riding an air balloon that circles the zone, and the only way to hop onto it is by running to the top of the Sandcrawler in the southeast corner of the zone (coordinates -23320, 464). The balloon takes about 40 minutes to circle the zone, so you could be waiting here for awhile.
Once it comes by, hop on and ride it for approximately 15-20 minutes - you should then see the Sandcrawler with the Blue Matrix Shard on top. Jump onto the Sand Crawler (don’t miss!), grab the datacron on top, then look for the ledge with the Strength +3 datacron on it.

This is located on the side of the sandcrawler (see picture).
Located on a rooftop in Anchorhead. First, start at the hill shown above outside of Anchorhead to the west (see map, coordinates 1528, 444). Jump up onto the hill and onto the wall.
Follow it to the left until you reach the location shown above.
Jump across these rooftops until you reach the location above.
Here, jump to the left-most canvas awning to reach the rooftop with the satellite dish.
Jump to the rooftop on the left until you reach the location show above. Carefully jump to the higher portion of the nearby wall, follow it to the rooftop, and look to your right.
Run up the giant awning to reach the roof of the tall building.
Follow the rooftop to the left, look down, and you should see the datacron on a ledge below.
Enter the cave in picture / map (coordinates -26, -30)...
...and follow the passage to reach the datacron.
Enter The Ruins of Kaleth and enter the collapsed building in the picture / map above (-598, -9).
Inside, run up the fallen pillar, then the next pillar. This leads straight to the datacron.
You’ll need to go to the southwest area of The Forge Remnants and head along the path shown above (see map for location, coordinates -170, 86).
Follow the path until you reach the second level of the collapsed building.
Jump down toward the enemy encampment, and you’ll see the datacron on the ledge to your right.
This datacron is located in The old Paths zone of Voss. Start near the two cave entrances at -658, -85 and take to path to the left of the left-most cave.
Take it up and around and keep going until you find the rocks that can be used as a staircase to enter the cave shown here (map - coordinates are -442, 85).
Go through the cave to reach the datacron.
This one is easy - just head to The Nightmare Lands and find the Meditation Tablet at 2000, -941.
This sends you to the Spirit World where you’ll find the datacron.
Enter the Shrine of Healing north of The Old Paths to find the datacron.
You might have to use the healing crystal in the northeast corner of the shrine to purify yourself first if you get a message about not being worthy enough to obtain the datacron. Note that Imperials will have to complete the quest entitled “The Gormak Problem” (obtained from Pilgrim Retreat) and its follow-up quest “The Trials” before the healing crystal can be activated. Republic characters must complete “The Trial” quest first.
In The Gormak Lands, head to a small rock passage located on a raised hill (picture / map, coordinates 572, 211).
Run through and the datacron is located behind the large boulder jutting out of the ground.
This datacron is located in a heroic area of The Nightmare Lands. First, find the passage in the map / picture that leads to the heroic area (coordinates 850, 33).
Once there, you must first loot the body in the picture / map above to get shield codes (438, 139).
Right near the body is an elevator with a protective barrier. Use the codes on the nearby control panel to remove the shield and ride the elevator down to the datacron.
