Full-blooded multiplayer military shooters are the most coveted market in video games right now, and Sony hopes to have a hit on its hands with SOCOM 4, the new installment in their long-running shooter series. The game‘s squad-based mechanics provide the biggest contrast to the megalithic Call of Duty series, but its refined covers system and unique approach to multiplayer provide added incentive to PS3 owners looking to make the switch.
On release day, stay tuned for the first installments of a comprehensive singleplayer walkthrough. Until then, browse the list of available trophies and check out the cheats page, which compiles as much information about the game as we can find.

First Strike
After the chopper crashes through the skylight, walk down the stairs and head outside. Walk towards the statue in the middle of the courtyard and take cover behind the far plaque.
Take out the enemies that jump out of the truck. Proceed forward and head up the partially demolished freeway. Take cover behind the humvee and kill the enemies under the the freeway signs.
Continue up the freeway, then throw a grenade up into the white building to your left to eliminate the RPG. Press X to jump over the roadblock. Take cover behind the tiny slab of concrete and take out all enemy soldiers below.
Following the cutscene, aim towards one of the tanks and hold R2 to call in an airstrike. Destroy the next tank using an airstrike, then head down the road after one of your soldiers blows up the nearby truck.
Once your team regroups with you, use the right arrow and aim your waypoint for your team behind the black van over to the left. After the taxi cab gets hit by an RGP, sprint up and take cover behind it.
Take out the enemy soldiers up inside the railcar first, then the ground troops next. Advance down the freeway, taking out enemy soldiers along the way.
After you cross under the railway, move along the left side of the area. Place a waypoint in front of the rail near the stairs. After you and your team take out the enemy soldiers on the ledges across the way, take out the soldiers down below.
Place a waypoint in front of the nearby taxi to send you team down the stairs to distract the enemy, then finish clearing the area. Head down stairs and advance down the street.
Take cover behind a concrete slab and take out the attacking soldiers. Look up toward the building to the left and take out the RPG in the window in the white building. There won’t be a lot of cover here, so make sure you do a good job covering your team’s back.
Once you get close enough to the artillery tank under the railway, hold R2 to call in an airstrike on it. Have your team regroup, then head for the star on the screen (under the freeway overpass).
Rendezvous
Following the crash, head down the path and crouch through the bushes to the left. Stay to the left and move slow to avoid being spotted by enemy soldiers.
After you reach the checkpoint and you recieve the challenge from one of your team members to sneak up behind the enemy solider, quietly move towards him, then press R3 when you get close enough to perform a stealth kill.
Continue up the path. Follow the onscreen instructions and press the right arrow to tag the three enemies below, then press the down arrow to have them complete a takedown.
From your position, take out the oncoming attackers who will come sprinting down the path. Regroup with your team and head down the path and through the crash site.
After you pass through the crash site, head up the ramp on the hut to the left. Place a waypoint for your team at ground level, then use grenades to take out the unsuspecting enemy soldiers from above.
Head down and take cover behind the white stove. Kill the two soldiers that run out from behind the house, then turn around and head for the onscreen star located in the wreckage.
Following the cutscene, head down the path and take cover behind the stacks of wood to the left. Send the gold team behind the barricade just to the right of the path and the blue team to the one on the left.
Tag the targets up on the horizon on the path and when you’re ready, press the down arrow to have your team take out the each tango. Move down the path and head around the truck.
Place the gold team behind the barricade to the right and join the blue team behind the cover to the left overlooking the camp. Tag the respective enemies again and help them out this time to clear the entire area.
Have your team regroup and head down the path. Take cover behind the large truck on the right. Send the gold team up behind the fence across the path. Move around the truck to the right and tag the enemies up in the house, then have gold team take them down.
Send blue team across to join them, but lead them to the left side of the huts while gold team takes down enemies who will be coming down the path.
Proceed through the huts. Once you reach the end, turn right towards the large temple. Send the blue team around to the left and take cover inside the building with the gold team.
Crouch under the windows and take out the enemy soldiers across the way near the scaffolding. After you clear out most of the enemies, call the blue team to take cover along the wall to the right of the tank. Have the gold team join them.
Move around to the left of the truck and flank any unsuspecting soldiers behind the tank. Walk up and press O to plant some C4, then sprint back towards the temple entrance.
After it blows, turn around and resupply from the crate to the left of the temple. Turn around, head left and up the path.
White Tiger
To start this mission off, head for the white, on-screen indicators and try to stay out of any pools of light to remain stealthy.
Drop down onto the train tracks. Once the nearby enemy soldier begins to talk on his phone, quietly sneak up behind him and perform a stealth kill.
After you cross over the tracks and receive your instructions, use your suppressed rifle to kill the soldier under the lamp in front of the warehouse door. Go pick up the body, then put him behind the boxes inside the warehouse.
Turn around and pick up the intel on the camo-covered crates, then head through the doorway. Head outside and turn right toward the big rig. Crouch next to the fuel tank. After the two soldiers are done talking, wait for them to go right and head up the street. One of them will hold back and when he does, perform a kill shot to the head.
Hop over the fuel tank and perform a stealth kill on the next soldier. Perform a kill shot on the guard standing in front of the porta potty, then turn left and take out the soldiers down the way with consecutive headshots.
Head through the entrance next to the porta potty and grab the intel on the table in the corner of the room. Turn around, head right outside and turn right down through the open container (over the second body you just shot).
Scale the crates as you stay crouched, then drop off to the right. Follow the white indicators and move all the way around to the right. Stay on course and perform stealth kills whenever a nearby solider has his back to you. As long as your stealth meter isn’t high, you won’t be spotted.
Once you spot the guard shack, wait until the coast is clear, then head inside. Crouch under the control panel and press O to disable the Drydock. Head outside and turn right downstairs.
After you head up the next flight of stairs, crawl down the walkway. Crawl all the way until you come to the next set of set of stairs. Make your way around the walkway. Once you make a right up the wider set of stairs, run over to the shipping containers and climb up.
Scale up the next set of boxes to the right, then cross over the shipping containers. After you reach the checkpoint, drop down in between the truck, then stay to the shadows along the wall to the right.
TROPHY: Turn right through the open container and perform a stealth kill on the nearby guard. Sprint for the gate, head over the tracks and your home flee. If you were able to go the whole mission undetected, you’ll earn the “Covert Ops” trophy.
Leviathan
Head down through the plants and place your blue team in front of the cover in between the gates. Get in a good position to give them covering fire as more soldiers will come out.
Send your gold team behind the white building to the right, then move the blue team behind the crates to the left. Take out the soldiers up ahead, then advance to the next set of crates.
Move behind the porta potty. Send the gold team to the next set of crates, then wait for the enemy snipers way off in the distance to move across onto the ledge. Tag each one them and have your gold team snipe them.
Ground troops will begin to attack, so hold your cover and take them out. Once you clear the area, regroup with your teams and sprint for the open warehouse door to the right. Resupply from the crate on the right, then walk around the shelves to the other side.
Following the explosion, sprint with your teams and take cover behind the large cement squares. You’ll have to move quick here because the bombs from the ship will fire incessantly.
Break right, sprint around the two trucks, kill the two soldiers and take cover behind the next row cement squares. Have your team regroup with you, then send them to the left and place them behind the cover near the red container.
Kill the group of soldiers hiding behind the cover across the way. Advance and take cover behind the crates to the left. Send you blue team up to the next set of boxes and have them kill the soldiers down the alley.
Head through the warehouse and then back outside. Resupply from the crate on the left, then turn right and head up the stairs on the ship. Kill the two soldiers that run around from the left and send your gold team up the next set of stairs to the right.
Put the gold team so that they are in position to take out the snipers over on the containers. Turn left and plant a charge of C4 on the 100mm gun. Head around to the other side and plant another charge of C4 on the Frigate.
Head back downstairs and join blue team on the landing deck. Head down the ramp leading to the other side of the area with the crates. Plant your two teams behind the two stacks of nearby crates and takeout all enemy forces. Be sure to watch out for the snipers on the containers way off in the distance to the right.
Send your gold team to the nearby container in front of you and have them take out the snipers on the containers to the left of the area. Clear the area, regroup with your team and head down the street to complete the mission.
Benefaction
Crawl to the right past the train and position your blue team up inside the train. Target the two enemy soldiers coming towards you and have your team take them out. Quickly cross the bridge and kill the soldier down the slope to the left.
Turn back around, jump through the derailed train car and head along the tracks. Veer right down the dirt path. Target the two nearby soldiers and have blue team take them out, then quickly take out the third who will come running up behind the rocks.
Cross over the area and head up the stairs. Move back across the bridge and pick up the MG along the wall. After the first two trucks explode, chuck a couple of grenades towards the next truck and give your team covering fire as enemy soldiers attack.
Resupply from the crate then regroup with your teams underneath the bridge. Head down the path and take cover behind the rocks to the left. Have your gold team join you, and position your blue team behind the cover on the left.
Have your gold team take out the snipers way off in the distance to the right up on the ledge. Then tag the large group of soldiers coming down the path for the blue team and help them take the soldiers out.
Have both teams advance to the two barricades down the path and give them covering fire. Once the area is clear, head up the path and in through the hut on the right.
Head up the path and place your team behind the pillars on both sides of the path. Send the yellow team around to the right (near the tent) and send your blue team down the path. Kill the soldiers around the tent and truck, then regroup with your team and head for the canopy.
Move to the truck and after you get your orders and spread out your teams on both sides of the truck behind the rock walls. Chuck a few grenades to help clear the area of soldiers, then when you get a chance, hold R2 to call in an airstrike on the four vehicles.
TROPHY: After you destroy all four, and if this is your 10th airstrike, you’ll earn the “Government Spending” trophy.
Head down the path and turn right past the large pillar. Cut left through the pushes and position your teams behind the sand bags on the beach, then hold R2 to call in another airstrike on the middle tank.
Regroup with your team and head up towards the canopy to the left. Kill the soldier to the right, then have your team regroup with you around the computer.
After Chung begins his download, take cover behind the crates to the right and kill the large group of soldier that will come running down the path to the right.
After the download is complete, have your team follow you, turn around, head around the large rock and down the path to complete the mission.
Fluid Dynamics
Move with your team down the shrubbery-filled path. Take cover behind the stack of logs overlooking the building and position the gold team with you. Tag the snipers up on the roofs off in the distance and have gold team take them out.
Send the blue team down to the first wall of cover (in front of the truck) and take out the soldiers below to give them covering fire. Move down once the area is clear and regroup with your team.
Move to the entrance to the right through the gate. Once you reach the checkpoint, turn left and grab the intel on the crates in the middle of the area. Stay here and position gold team with you, then send up your blue team to the next set of crates and help them kill the small group of soldiers.
Advance up to the next wall of cover and chuck a couple of grenades near the two vehicles. Shoot for the red gasoline containers and clear the area before heading up the road.
Once you reach the bridge, veer off to the left into the bushes. Send you blue team down the bridge while you take out the sniper near the big pipe. Sprint down the walkway and turn around and help your team kill the rest of the soldiers.
Regroup with your team and head for the stairs leading up to the building. Resupply from the box near the crates, then turn left. Position a team in front of the center doors and help them take out the soldiers inside.
After you kill the initial wave of guards, send your teams in and have them take cover inside. Stay outside and give them covering fire towards the back window in the right corner of the room.
Send the blue team down the left aisle of the room to clear out the rest of the room, then chuck a grenade up the stairs and take your team up. Stay close to the wall because there will be a couple of soldiers in the window to the left.
Turn through the doorway and kill the rest of the soldiers in this room. Use the control board on the left wall to activate the floodgates.
After you do so, ignore the shots coming through the window and head back out the doorway. The enemy will set up a smoke screen up the stairs, so throw a couple grenades to foil their plan.
Move upstairs and around the turn. Spread your teams out behind the different areas of cover and take out the attacking enemies. Sprint down the hallway with your team and head outside.
Turn right and resupply from the crates near the front of the truck. Walk around the back of the truck and take out the sniper near the right wall along the road. After you go under the underpass, hug the wall near the door to your left. Place a team nearby the window and take out the soldiers coming out the control room inside.
Once you clear out the control room, resupply from the crate to the right, then join your team taking cover behind the barricade outside. Don’t be intimidated by more of their smoke; just chuck a few grenades in their direction while your team unloads on them.
As soon as you hear the words “Chopper inbound!”, sprint back through the doorway and have your team regroup on you. Place your blue team in front of the windows and stay inside the control room with the gold team.
After you unload a few rounds on the chopper, it will eventually take off. When it does, head back outside with your team, take cover and kill the enemy fighters who will be coming from the right.
Be alert because after you finish off the initial wave, you’ll have to kill a group that will come running up the stairs to the left. Head back inside, resupply and have your team regroup before the chopper shows up again. You can also find two rifles on the windowsill inside the control room.
Keep your same position as before and unload on the chopper to officially take it down this time. Hold your position and kill yet another wave of soldiers that will try to storm into the room. Hit ‘em off at the pass by shooting them through the window.
Keep in mind that they will try to storm through both doorways, so keep your eyes peeled. Apparently when a chopper has smoke coming out of it, it still can function.
TROPHY:Stay stuck on the wall inside the control room and after a few rounds of fire, this time the chopper will explode and you’ll earn the “Whatever it Takes” Trophy.
Safehouse
Move up and take cover behind the barrels (next to the fire). After the tank and soldiers pass by, turn left, then follow the soldier with the star above his head to the right.
When he breaks left to go talk to the two soldiers standing in the light, go straight and stay behind the wall in front of the fire. Once they move, turn, move around the car and crouch behind the low wall to remain hidden.
Once the two groups split off, stay on the target and follow him to the next area. Make sure you don’t get too close and try to stay in the bushes to the right.
Once he moves again, cut right under the pipe and head up the stairs next to the building. He will stop again once inside, so don’t head down the next set of stairs just yet.
Continue to follow him once he moves, making sure to stay in the shadows. Once he splits off by himself again, follow the other onscreen locator and climb up the crates to get on the rooftops.
After you get your next objective of eliminating the snipers, look around to the right for the red icons and go for the head on each sniper to take them down with one shot.
You won’t be able to take them all out from that position, so drop down to the boards on the right and quietly make your way around the rooftops, using stealth kills not to alarm the other soldiers.
Once you get your orders to head to the extraction point, follow the white onscreen locator and head for the drainage ditch. Once you reach the swampy part, stay low and don’t be afraid to use that sniper (head shots only!).
Pick your spots and stay low. Once you reach the extraction point you’ll have completed the mission.
Means to an End
To start things off, pull out your sniper and hit the soldier on the bridge with a headshot. Move down to the water and get down on the ground as the two other soldiers cross by.
Move across the water and head down the path. After the turn, stay in the plants to the right and take out the nearby soldier with a headshot. Stay in the bushes and crawl all the way around to the right.
Continue along the path in between the tiny shacks. Before you make the turn around to the left, hug the wall and peek around. Tag the small group of soldiers in the open area, then turn around and move back up on the hill so you can see the snipers across the way on the decks.
Have you blue team attack and take out the snipers on the decks simultaneously. Head down back with your blue team and cross over through the doorway. Hug the wall before you move out and send gold team to the barricade over to the far right.
Give them covering fire by shooting the soldiers coming down the stairs in front of them. Look left and throw a couple of grenades toward the other wave of soldiers. Since there will be a lot of them, send blue team out to the barricade in front of you to distract the enemy soldiers.
Send your gold team up the stairs when most of the area is clear, then join them up there. Have your team regroup with you, then head up the hill to the right (towards the pipe).
Take cover behind the shed and send gold team behind the barricade next to the huge pipe. Protect them by shooting the snipers in the building in front of them, then help them take out the snipers in the far house straight ahead.
Move up the road past the yellow car and take cover behind the nearby barricade down the middle of the path. Send blue team up the wall on the left and give them covering fire.
Once you’ve cleared the area, head down the path. Turn right at the dead end. Make the first left and take cover behind the dumpster on the left wall. Spread your two teams along the wall in front of you and help them kill the wave of attacking soldiers.
Once you get the objective of destroying the armour, wait for it to roll around to the left, then sprint up the steps of the center structure and grab the rocket launcher on the right side of the wall.
You’ll be in a vulnerable spot, but quickly fire off two shots to destroy the armour. You’ll be attacked by another wave of fighters to the north, so spread out your teams again and finish them off.
Turn left out from under the roof and resupply from the crate. Head straight (past the blue van) and through the gate. Turn right and hug the nearby wall.
Send the gold team behind the pillars to the right and place your blue team behind the wall in front of you as you help destroy all attacking enemies coming out from the temple.
Clear the area, then head inside the tempe. Walk to the back wall and pick up your choice of weapon from on top of the crates before heading upstairs. Place your blue team behind the nearby crate, then flank the attacking soldiers from the left.
Regroup and head up the next set of stairs. Following the cutscene, place your gold team behind the wall to the right so that they can take out the snipers on the roof. Head across the deck and make your first right.
Once you get downstairs, you’ll have five minutes to get to the extraction point. Quickly grab the intel on the table to the right, have your teams regroup and head outside.
Turn left, then left through the doorway and head downstairs. Hug the wall next to the doorway and give both of your teams covering fire as you send them outside. Advance down this area, using the pillars on either side as cover.
After you get through the gate, stay with one team behind the sand bags and send the other team over to the adjacent group of bags. Move one team up to the wall in front of you and give them strong covering fire as there will be a huge wave of enemy soldiers here.
Move on up with your other team behind the wall, then move past that when the area is clear. Proceed forward and take out the RPG in the window next to the neon-lit Chinese symbol.
Run toward that same building and hug the wall before you turn down the road to the right, take out another RGP down the road. After you make the turn, drop down the short ledge and take cover behind the car to the right.
Send one of your teams over to the cover to the left and send one team up. Take out the soldiers coming down the steps, then take out the handful of RGPs up on the second level.
TROPHY: Clear the area, then head up the stairs to earn the “Trial by Fire” Trophy and complete the mission.
Onslaught
Head across the bridge and take cover behind the short wall to the right. Send one team up and around to the left, then stick with the other team to the right and take out the enemy forces on the hill.
Use the large rock as cover if you taking heavy fire. Once you get to the top, head through the shrubbery to the left of the burning truck. Crouch behind the short wall and send the other team over to the other side.
Tag several targets, then move all the way over to the far right of the area and drop down. Pick up the intel on the shack, then hug the the back of it. Peek around and command your teams to fire while you shoot the soldiers on the deck of the far house.
Call your teams to you and position the blue team in front of the pallets to the right of you. Place gold team in front of the wall in front of you and give them covering fire by killing the soldiers near the tank.
Proceed forward and pick up the intel on the bundle of railroad ties. Once you get to the burning jeep, send your blue team to the tank down the bridge on the right and throw a grenade to the left to wipe out the wave of enemy soldiers.
After you meet up with friendlies on the other side of the bridge, resupply from the crate to the right. Head up the stairs and down the other side. Take cover behind the crates to the right when you begin to receive enemy fire.
Send one team up to the wall in front of you and watch out for enemy soldiers coming from the water to the left. Head down the bridge once you clear it and take cover behind the stack of pallets after the turn.
Kill the soldiers behind the stack of boxes, as well as the ones coming out of the doorway to the right. Send one team to the stack of pallets in front of you and head through that doorway and take out the unsuspecting soldiers to the left.
Continue around to the right and walk up the mini makeshift ramp and take out the sniper across the way. Head across the roof and drop down the behind the two stacks of pallets.
After the enemy uses smoke, toss a couple of grenades and send blue team to the refrigerator in front of you. Head around to the right and flank any remaining soldiers. Have your teams regroup and make the next left and follow the path around.
From there, turn left and sprint towards the boat. Immediately kill the RPG up and to the left. Send a team to the nearby boat in front of you and kill the remaining soldiers up on the second level.
After you complete the objective of escorting the allies, sprint for the stairs. Turn right and pickup the rocket launcher on the stack of boxes and use it to take down the chopper.
After the chopper flies away, turn around and have your team regroup with you. Have them take cover behind the barrels and help them kill the attacking soldiers coming from behind the house to the right.
After you see the chopper go down in the distance, join your teams down at the lower level to complete the mission.
Revelation
Proceed down the path. Following the cut scene, sneak up behind the soldier and perform a stealth kill. Head down the path and cut through the bushes to the right at teh bottom.
Walk all the way to the back corner (past the lights) and crouch behind the crates. After the nearby soldier walks away, turn right and then make another right into the building.
Head up the stairs to the roof. Turn left after the first set of stairs and head for the chopper. Press O to place the beacon on it.
Following the cutscene, wait for the soldiers to head downstairs, then slowly follow them down. Move to the right (behind the lights) once outside. Lay low in the bushes and wait for the soldier coming toward you to turn around before heading up the stairs to the right.
Perform a stealth kill on the soldier in front of you, then continue up the path. After you turn right, head down the stairs to avoid being seen by the soldiers coming towards you.
Proceed forward, staying close to the rock wall to the right. When you reach the camp, drop down of the short ledge. Look to the left and crawl through the shrubbery to avoid being seen (your stealth meter will be very high here).
Once you reach the stack of boxes, shoot and kill the lone soldier with a headshot. Head up the stairs and move around the tank to the left. Stay to the left and get inside the building.
TROPHY: Turn left and perform a stealth kill on the soldier that passes by. Sprint down the path to the extraction point to receive the “Covert Ops” and “Allegiance Exposed” Trophies.
Turning Point
Head up the path and into the underground bunker. Perform a stealth kill on the soldier heading down the hallway. There will be guards to the right once you head outside, so toss a some grenade to serve as cover, then sprint upstairs.
Turn right and take cover behind the steel box. Peek around to the left and destroy the turret across the way. Look to the right (over the rail) and help kill the soldiers below as you call your team out.
After you clear the area, head downstairs and regroup with your team. Take cover behind the nearby slabs of broken concrete and kill any remaining soldiers near the walkway under the bridge.
Proceed through the walkway, then up the stairs through the next walkway. Crouch and move to the bushes on the right. Before he sees you, tag the nearby solider just ahead and have the yellow team take him out.
Move up to the small wall of cover. Tag the snipers across the way in the buildings to the left and right for the gold team to take out (make sure to take out the RGP in the right building first). By this time, other soldiers will be alarmed, so hold your position and kill the soldiers that will be running up the hill to the right.
Turn left and head down towards the structure. Spread your teams out and kill any remaining soldiers on the lower level. Head upstairs with your team and kill the lone soldier to the left.
As soon as Chung begins his download, defend him by putting one team behind the nearby ventilation unit and another one just up the short set of stairs. Make sure you stay by Chung and pick up any soldiers that sneak by.
Once the airsrike is available, head up the short set of stairs, turn left and aim at the freighter off in the distance to call in an airstike. Head downstairs and hug the stack of boxes before turning left down the hallway.
Chuck a grenade and take out the small group of enemy soldiers. Head back outside and follow the path. After you pass through the huge pillars, take cover behind the huge stack of crates. Take out the two soldiers walking up the path to the right.
Head up the path on the left that will deadend at a bunker. Place gold team here and tag the soldier up on the catwalk for them to take out. Move up and to the left and take cover behind the rocks on the hill.
Command gold team to take out their target, then take out the soldier behind the cover straight ahead, as well as the two soldiers in the lower level windows to the right.
Once you clear most of the building, have your teams follow you as you go straight and up the stairs. Turn right, then make a left and defend Chung while he uses the computer behind the stack of crates.
Make sure kill the RGP behind the rail (in front of those missiles) across the way. You and your team should be safe here, just make sure everyone is behind a wall
Once the airstrike is available, turn right from behind the wall and hold R2 to quickly call in an airstrike on the frigate. Unfortunately, you’ll have to defend Chung again. Toss a grenade down the stairs where there will be several soldiers coming up, as well as another RPG across the way behind the rail.
After you call in your second airstrike, you’ll have to repeat the same process again. Uses the crates as cover to defend Chung, but remember not to stay out here to long or you’ll be hit by rocket attacks from the frigate.
Once the third airstrike is available, call it in to destroy the frigate. Head back across the building and move downstairs. Move left up the hill to complete the mission.
Uninvited Guest
After you reach the first onscreen locator, turn right around the large rock. Stay to the right and go behind the little rock to avoid the claymore. Continue to follow the path around until you reach the rockets.
Wait for the nearby soldier to walk away to the left, then sneak behind the behind the crate. Pick up the intel, then turn right and stealthily head up the path. After the path winds down, drop off to the left near the porta potties.
Following the cutscene, move forward just a bit, then snipe the two targets in view (one under the lights to the left, the other in front of the chopper) with clean headshots.
Proceed forward. When you get to the break in the fence, turn right and snipe the soldier on the platform. Look down and take the soldier beneath him as well.
Move to the inside of the fence and proceed forward. Wait for the two nearby soldiers to split up, then when one of them is in sight, snipe him. Turn left around the fence, then cut right into the warehouse.
Walk to the back corner and use the computers to obtain the launch plans. Turn behind you and take cover behind the boxes. After the two soldiers split up, wait for the one to walk to the back of the warehouse, then snipe him.
Head back out the same doors you came in. Move along the gate towards the tank, then plant a charge on the side of it when you reach it. Move to the left side of the gate (next to the porta potties), head up and around the hill.
Crawl the whole way to stay stealthy as you make your way towards the building. Wait for the soldier to walk out of the warehouse, then snipe him. Once you get underneath the stairs, you should see another soldier to the right of the tank—take him out.
Quickly head inside and plant a charge on the tank. Walk around the tank and head out the other side. Move left to the nearby building and lay flat in the grass. When the soldier to the right has his back to you, turn left and stay down in the next patch of grass.
There will be a solider right in front of you under the lights, but he shouldn’t see you. When there is no other nearby guards, snipe him. Stay prone and turn left along the building.
Move all the way to the left (near the tall grass) and proceed forward toward the final target. Take cover behind the nearby boxes. After the soldiers have their discussion, wait for them to disperse, then plant the charge on the side of the tank.
TROPHY: Head back the same way you came, but make sure you stay prone and in the grass the whole way or else they’ll spot you. Get to the extraction point to earn the “Eye in the Sky” Trophy and complete the mission.
Countdown
Proceed forward along the right wall and turn right up the path. Stay to the right and take cover behind the stone wall. Tag the soldier to the left for one team, then tag the two other soldiers in front of you for the other team.
Command your teams to attack, then shoot any other soldiers that sneak out. Once the area is clear, have your team regroup, head down the path (past the jeep) and walk through the walkway.
Once in the water, turn left and stay along the left wall. Wait for the soldiers on the bridge to walk back across to the right, then tag them for gold team and command them to fire.
Stay low and take out the two attacking soldiers that will come from under the arch. Head under the bridge and up the path where you just killed the two soldiers. Cut across the path and move up the stone steps on the right side.
Move to the right and head around the large rock. Send your teams across the way as a diversion, then kill the two soldiers across the way. Hold your cover behind the rock and take out all enemy forces that come out from ruins.
When the left side is clear, move you and your team up behind one of the stone walls for cover. Quickly take out the RGP up ahead, then continue down the path to the next checkpoint.
Move to the right side and take cover behind the wall. Send blue team over to the wall on the other side and toss a grenade near the jeep to give them some protection. Clear the area and take the sniper out on the scaffolding before continugin up the path.
As you cross the bridge, turn right up the path. This next part is a little tricky. When you get to the steel structure place gold team behind the sand bags to the right. Head left with blue team, across the path and take cover behind the shack.
Peek around to the right and destroy the turrets that is firing RGPs first (these are located halfway up the hill). From there, use all of the surrounding red gas cans to your advantage and blow them up to cause explosions and hopefully kill most of the enemies.
Once all enemies and turrets have been destroyed, head down the path. Resupply from the crate on the right, then continue up the hill.
After you reach the checkpoint, cut right through the grass and follow the path around. As the path turns left (so that the large entrance to the ruins is to the right of you), move over to the wall of cover to the right with one team and keep another on the adjacent wall.
Make sure you stay low here as you eliminate the snipers and RPGs up in the windows of the ruins. There may be times when either of your teams get pounded here; if that happens, spread them out to either side of the area where they will be out of harms way.
Continue to slowly make your way up the hill. Once you’ve killed all attacking enemies, head through the main archway. After you make the first left turn, hug the wall right in front of you. Peek around to the left and throw a grenade at the attacking group of enemies.
After you reach the checkpoint, crouch and take cover behind the wall to the left. Take out the group of attacking enemies across the way. Head downstairs and pick up the intel on the table on the left before heading upstairs.
Head up the long set of stairs outside and kill the lone soldier next to the launcher. Turn right and spread your teams out in front of the walls in front of you. This part is tricky, but the secret is to kill all oncoming attackers before they reach you and your teams.
Kill all attacking soldiers, then regroup around the launcher to complete the mission.
Animus
Move forward and take cover behind the crane to the right. Send one team behind the large pipe to the left and use the rollers on the crane as cover to take out enemy forces coming out of the temple.
Regroup with both teams behind the huge pipe and take the the RGP that will be hiding behind the last window on the left. Toss a grenade over the railing or wait for him to pop up and hit him with a headshot.
Move left and head down the left side of the main road. After you pass the taxi, move onto the sidewalk and hug the nearby pillar for cover. Kill the three soldiers that come around the corner, then turn left at that corner.
After you’ve reached the checkpoint, cross the street and have your teams take cover behind the large plaque with the chinese writing. You yourself should run straight for the statue in the middle of the area.
As enemies come down both sides of the stairs, help your team pick them off. Head upstairs when the area is clear. Before you make the final left of the stairs, hug the wall and take out the soldiers that will come around the corner.
After you reach the checkpoint, move across the bridge and head downstairs. Take cover behind the stack of boxes and place your teams behind the beat-up truck.
Toss a couple grenades and clear out the enemies across the way. Regroup with your team and head into the parking garage. Take cover behind the taxi and place a team behind the black car.
Take out the attacking soldiers, then head up the two ramps. After you head up the third ramp (and reach the checkpoint), walk up with your team and take out the group of soldiers behind the two cars.
Head up the final ramp to the roof and crouch behind the wall to the right. Peek over, aim at the armored vehicle near the stairs and hold R2 to call in an airstrike.
Move to the right down the wall. Spread your teams out along the wall to give you covering fire while you take out the other four vehicles. Keep in mind that there will be enemy snipers spread out along the roof.
Make your life easier by taking out some of the snipers first, and keep in mind that enemy soldiers will come up onto the roof from the stairs to the left.
After you destroy all five vehicles, quickly make your way over to the left and take cover behind the wall in front of the walkway. Have one team with you and place another in front of the vending machine.
Chuck a couple of grenades down the walkway when the huge swarm of attackers come charging in on you. Move up to the main wall and eliminate the rest of the snipers on the opposing room before heading downstairs.
Cross the street and head through the first archway. Following the cutscene, turn left into the first room, then another left into the next room.
TROPHY: For the end of the game, you can choose between two endings in which you will receive two different countries. If you choose to kill Gorman, you’ll earn the “Executioner” Trophy. However, if you spare his life, you’ll earn the “Peace Keeper” Trophy.
