Portal 2 Background Info:
A mere curiosity when it was initially published, the original Portal quickly became a full-fledged phenomenon, as gamers and dilettantes alike recognized the genius of what Valve had created. Now Portal 2 has arrived, and the secret is well and truly out. Though the first installment was notable for its brevity, the sequel is hugely expanded, promising both singleplayer and co-op modes, each riddled with new mechanics, puzzles, and challenges.

Singleplayer Walkthrough

Chapter 1: The Courtesy Call

  1. Welcome back to Aperature Labs, you’ll wake up in a relaxation chamber and a computer voice will give you a brief rundown of what’s going on.
  2. Follow the directions you’re given. Use the mouse to look up and down, use W to walk forward, S and D to move left and right, etc.
  3. You’ll be directed to stare at a painting, it is located just to the left of the bed.
  4. After you look at the painting, move back to the bed and press E.
  5. You’ll wake up again and make contact with a robot named Wheatley, who will direct you to speak by pressing the Space Bar. Press the Space Bar and you’ll end up jumping instead, he’ll say that’s close enough.
  6. After this, the room will begin to move, you’re not in any danger though, so just look around and enjoy the ride.
  7. When the room comes to a stop, step out through the demolished wall, just past the bed.
  8. If you look on the ground ahead of you, you’ll see some cracked glass. Step onto it and it will give way, dropping you into a small room similar to the one at the start of the first Portal.
  9. After a brief automated message an orange portal will appear on the wall. Step through it and move to the left around the room you started in.
  10. Move toward the door with the blue person on it. The door will open automatically and you can step through.
  11. A cube will fall from a tube near the exit of this room. Pick it up using E and press E again to drop it on the big red button.
  12. With the cube on the button, the door will open and you can proceed to the next room.
  13. A second door will open and as you advance to the next room an elevator will descend from above. Get into the elevator and it will take you down to your next challenge.
  14. Exit the elevator and climb the staircase directly in front of you.
  15. Head through the door and hang a left, then drop down into the next room.
  16. If you face the toward the door you’ll see 3 red buttons: one to your left, on straight ahead and one to your right. Go press the button on the right using E. This will activate a blue portal inside a room with a cube.
  17. Now turn to your right and you’ll see an orange portal on the wall. Go through that portal.
  18. You’ll see a cube in the room you are now in. Grab it with E and take it back through the blue portal.
  19. Now drop the cube, face the door again and this time press the button to your left.
  20. Pick the cube back up and once again go through the orange portal.
  21. Now you’ll find yourself in a room with a red button. Drop the cube on that button, this opens the door. Exit through the blue portal.
  22. Face the door again and this time press the button directly in front of you, then head back through the orange portal.
  23. Make a left and get into the elevator.
  24. Get out of the elevator, head up the stairs and make a left. There’s a podium where the blue portal device should be. Move toward it.
  25. The ground will give out beneath you and you’ll fall into a swampy area. Move straight ahead and grab the portal gun at the top of the ramp.
  26. Point the Portal gun at any flat wall and press the Left Mouse Button to create a blue portal. Move through the portal and look to your right to see a ramp.
  27. Walk up the ramp and hang a right through the abandoned office, then drop down through the broken window.
  28. Stick a blue portal on the wall directly opposite the window you dropped out of. Go through the portal and hang a left.
  29. Shoot a blue portal right next to the exit door. Then turn around, go back through the orange portal and head through the exit door and into the elevator.
  30. Go up the stairs and you’ll see a cube drop into a pit in the center of the room. Shoot a blue portal at the cube and it will come out of the orange portal behind you.
  31. Drop the cube on the red button, this will open the door. Head through it and into the next room.
  32. This room has two red buttons. Throw a blue portal on any flat surface and walk through it.
  33. Now aim for the wall just behind the cube on the platform across from you and fire another portal.
  34. Walk back through the orange portal and you can grab the cube. Set the cube down on one of the red buttons.
  35. You’ll find a pit with a second cube in it across from the exit door. Fire a blue portal at the cube, if it doesn’t fall through the portal, go down and move it manually.
  36. Put another portal on any random wall and go through it to grab the cube. Then put the cube on the second button and you’ll open the exit. Go through it.
  37. In the next room, there’s an orange portal above you. Fire a blue one at the ground and jump through.
  38. You’ll land on a pane of glass. There’s a staircase in the room to the right. You don’t need to climb the stairs (although there’s an interesting view up there), just make a left out of that room and you’ll go through another door and into an elevator.
  39. Head up the steps to the next test area. There’s some debris in your way so put a portal on the ground and jump through.
  40. Look to your right and you’ll see a small red button in a podium and a large red button on the ground. Press the small red button in the podium. This will cause a cube to fall onto the platform across the pit (to the right of the tilted platform.)
  41. Walk up to the edge of the pit and fire a portal into the ground beneath the cube. The cube will pop out of an orange portal behind you.
  42. Place the cube on the red button that’s on the ground and some platforms will form a staircase up to the exit door.
  43. Once you get up to the exit door, you’ll see that you need a to put a cube on a red button to keep it open. There’s two red podium buttons past the red ground button. Shoot a blue portal onto the tilted platform jutting out over the pit.
  44. Now press the red podium button on the left. A cube will fall through your blue portal. Quickly press the red button on right to activate a panel that will stop the cube from falling into the pit.
  45. Retrieve the cube and place it on the red button. Now exit through the door and get in the elevator.
  46. After exiting the elevator, put a blue portal and jump through it.
  47. You’ll fall from an orange portal and into a room with a pit in the middle of it. Shoot a portal at the floor at the bottom of the pit and jump through.
  48. You’ll find yourself on a platform facing the exit door. To your left there’s a cube in glass case below the floor. Shoot a portal through the hole in the glass.
  49. Now jump back down to the lower level, shoot another portal at the bottom of the pit and drop the cube through it. Follow the cube through.
  50. Set the cube on the red button and go through the open door.
  51. In the next test area there’s an orange portal in the bottom of the pit directly in front of you. Shoot a blue portal at the tilted platform to your left, then jump through the orange portal in the pit.
  52. You’ll land next a cube. Grab it and place it on the raised area with the red button that is located across from you. Note: you can’t jump up there but if you raise the cube above you’re head you can put it up there.
  53. Now, face the red button, then rotate to the right until you are facing the door where you came in. Place a portal on the wall above the door as high as you can.
  54. Jump through the orange pit portal again. And put the cube on the red button and it will activate a platform.
  55. Now make a portal to the right of your last blue portal and jump through the orange portal again. Head through the exit door and into the elevator.
  56. In the next area you’ll meet Wheatley again. Follow his instructions, then pick him up when he falls off his rail. Plug him into the wall and turn around. He’ll open a secret passage; pick him up again and head down the passage.
  57. Keep moving past a turret and you’ll go through a circular door.
  58. After a brief loading screen you’ll head down another corridor and pass a passage leading to some windows on your right.
  59. Take the second passage on your right. Make your way through the rubble, past the closed disposal chute and down the staircase.
  60. When the stairs end, jump to the bottom of the staircase. Exit through the door at the bottom and then follow the catwalk until you get to the main breaker room. You’ve got a cut scene after this.
  61. Find your way through the rubble and to the orange portal gun. It’s covered with junk but GLADoS will help you out. Grab the gun.
  62. Look up and put a blue portal on one of the walls in the elevated area above your. Then use the Right Mouse Button to make an orange portal on the wall next to you and jump through it.
  63. Walk away from the starting area and hang a right. Portal your way through the wall of junk blocking you.
  64. You’ll run into an elevated area and GLADoS will set up a panel above you that you can stick a blue portal to. Do this then make an orange one on the ground level and get up there.
  65. Make a right upon exiting the portal, after a short walk you’ll see a place you can make a portal on the wall above and to your right.
  66. To your right there’s a gap and then some busted panel machines. Shoot a portal at the ground beneath the panel machines then make a corresponding portal on the wall next to you.
  67. Hop through and then head down the passageway that’s next to the pit.
  68. GLADoS will move some more rubble out of your way and then you can get into the elevator. Congratulations, you have completed Chapter 1. You, [subject's name here] must be the pride of [subject's home town here]!
  69. Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 2: The Cold Boot

  70. Enter the test area and wait for GLADoS to give her speech and activate the laser.
  71. Go stand on the panel just beneath the exit door.
  72. Shoot a blue portal at the ground where the laser is firing, then shoot an orange portal at the ceiling above the laser target. The laser target is the circular object on the raised square.
  73. The panel you’re on will raise up, allowing you to move through the exit door. Get into the elevator and head to the next test.
  74. Use Space Bar to jump over the laser then go find the redirection cube in the corner of the room.
  75. It’s blocked by debris so portal your way past the debris and grab the cube.
  76. Hold the redirection cube in the path of the laser and use it to focus the laser at the target.
  77. A staircase will form up to the exit door. Get up there and fire a blue portal under the cube. Now fire an orange portal on the ground next to you. Grab the cube when it comes through the portal.
  78. Set the cube on the red button and head through the exit door. Grab an elevator to your next test.
  79. The next test area will have a raised platform in the middle of the room. Put an orange portal on the ceiling above the platform and a blue one on the nearest wall. Then hop through.
  80. Once on the raised platform, look for a redirect cube on another raised area. Jump and shoot a blue portal beneath it and the cube will fall through the same orange portal you fell through.
  81. Now use the cube to direct the laser to the target.
  82. Portal your way to the elevated area where the redirect cube came from.
  83. There’s another laser shooting at a wall above you. Shoot a blue portal right where the laser is shooting and put an orange portal on the floor beneath the laser target.
  84. The exit door will open and you can head to the next area.
  85. Walk down the passage and you’ll find yourself on a platform above a pit of some kind of sludge.
  86. To your right is a laser target. Put a blue portal on the wall directly opposite the target. Then put an orange portal on the wall that the laser is shooting at. A platform will begin to move.
  87. When the platform gets in front of the red podium buttton, shoot an orange portal at the wall next to the podium. This will stop the platform.
  88. Now hop through the blue portal and press the buzzer to grab a cube.
  89. Put the cube on the platform, then jump up on the cube (this will prevent you from being struck by the laser).
  90. Now fire an orange portal at the point where the laser strikes the wall. The platform will start moving again.
  91. When the cube gets in front of the laser the platform will stop. Move the cube to the far side of the platform and it will start moving again.
  92. Grab the cube and jump off the platform and onto the area where the red button is.
  93. Put the cube on the button and you’re done with this one.
  94. Exit the elevator and wait for GLADoS to clear the debris, then head through the door.
  95. The next area has an aerial faith plate in the ground in front you. Step on it and you will be launched to the other side of the room.
  96. Press the red podium button and a cube will fall onto an aerial faith plate in the middle of the room and start bouncing.
  97. Step on your aerial faith plate just as the cube is at the bottom of its bounce and you’ll be able to snatch it out of the air with “E.”
  98. Bring it back to the other side and set it on the red button. Then head through the door and you’re done.
  99. In the next area step on the aerial faith plate. You’ll be bounced to two more faith plates. Try to orient yourself in the direction the black arrows on the faith plates are facing.
  100. After you bounce off the third faith plate, there will be two angled panels in front of you. You’ll have to put a blue portal on one and an orange portal on the other while you’re in mid air. (If you fail, you can portal back to the faith plates and try again.)
  101. After you shoot out of the portals, you’ll bounce off another plate and land on an area with a red podium button. Press the button.
  102. Some trash will come shooting toward you. Press the podium button again and you’ll get a cube bouncing toward you. Stand in front of the cube, to keep it from flying off the edge.
  103. Now face the podium button and look to the left. You’ll see a red button that needs a cube on it. Look at the ceiling above the red button, there’s a place to stick a portal. Throw a blue one on it.
  104. Now turn around and put an orange portal on the wall behind you. Drop the cube through the orange portal and onto the button. The door will open and you’re good to go.
  105. In the next test area, you’ll find your old friend the companion cube. Hop over the laser and grab the cube. It will instantly dissolve. GLADoS will give you another one which will disintegrate when you put it in the laser.
  106. Finally, you can use the third companion cube to block the laser. This will cause an elevator platform to lower. Jump on it.
  107. Now fire a portal underneath the companion cube and another on the wall. This will cause the cube to move out of the path of the laser and the elevator will take you up.
  108. When the elevator stops you’ll see two angled panels. Throw a portal on one and get the cube up there with you.
  109. Now plant a blue portal on the angled panel closest to the corner of the room. Put an orange portal on the floor of the lower level.
  110. From the higher level, drop the cube through the portal on the lower level. Then jump through it yourself. You and the cube will land next to a red button.
  111. Put the cube on the red button.
  112. Now, place a blue portal on the other angled panel and jump through your orange one on the ground level. Move through the door to the next test area.
  113. In the next area, some panels to the right will form steps that will take you up through an emancipation grid.
  114. Fire a blue portal at the spot on the wall the laser is targeting, then fire an orange portal at the spot on the wall that is opposite the laser target (the laser target is beyond the emancipation grid).
  115. There’s a red podium button on your side of the emancipation grid. Go push it and a redirect cube will appear on the other side of the emancipation grid.
  116. Fire an orange portal through the hole by the podium, then put a blue one on the wall behind you to avoid the emancipation grid.
  117. Grab the redirect cube and set it up so that it redirects the laser to the target. Now head to the next test area.
  118. Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 3: The Return

    1. The next test area has an aerial faith plate in the center of the room. Bounce on it a few times and GLADoS will lower the ceiling.
    2. Put a blue portal on the ceiling directly above the faith plate. Put an orange portal on the ceiling beyond the wall that’s blocking your advance.
    3. Now jump on the faith plate again and you’ll be beyond the wall. Walk around till you find the laser. Put a blue portal on the panel directly across from where the laser is shooting at.
    4. Now head back down to the faith plate. Put an orange portal on the ceiling above the plate then use the plate to jump through it.
    5. Press the red podium button. Then but a blue portal on the angled panel across from the one you put a portal on before.
    6. Go jump through the orange portal on the ceiling again. Then grab the redirect cube and use it to focus the laser on the wall that you can put portals on.
    7. Put a portal on the wall where the laser is now shooting, then run around to the other side of that wall and put a portal opposite the laser target.
    8. There’s one more angled panel by the laser’s new redirected course. Put a blue portal on that angled panel and go jump through the orange portal in the ceiling again.
    9. Reset the lasers on either side of the wall below you (without stepping off the high ground) so that the laser once again hits the target. You’re done with this chamber.
    10. The next room has another aerial faith plate in the center. Keep going past the faith plate and look down the ravine. Shoot a blue portal at the floor in the bottom of the ravine.
    11. Now make a 180 degree turn. Fire a portal as high as you can on the wall you are now staring at.
    12. Jump through the portal you put at the bottom of the ravine. You’ll end up sailing across the ravine.
    13. Grab the cube and portal your way back across the ravine.
    14. While holding the cube, step on the aerial faith plate. You’ll be catapulted up to an area with a laser. Use the cube to block the laser. This will lower the wall.
    15. Now step on the aerial faith plate again and you’ll bounce a few times, then stop on an area with a red podium button. Go push the red podium button.
    16. A redirect cube will bounce up to where you are. Grab it and jump back down to the area where you had obstructed the laser.
    17. If you are looking at the spot where the laser hits the wall, make a 90 degree turn to your left. Put a portal on the wall you are now looking at.
    18. Use the redirect cube to fire the laser into the portal you just created. Grab the plain cube that you had originally used to block the laser. Now jump back down and jump on the aerial faith plate.
    19. Put the plain cube on the red button. Chamber complete.
    20. This next chamber involves light bridges. Put a blue portal on the wall that the light bridge is aimed at.
    21. Put an orange portal on the wall across the chasm. Now you can walk on the light bridge.
    22. Walk about halfway across the chasm and stop. Turn to your left. Fire an orange portal at the wall (fire it at the lowest part of the wall).
    23. You’ll fall onto the new light bridge you created. Do a 180 and walk to the end of the light bridge.
    24. Turn to your left and put another orange portal on the wall below you. You’ll fall a little way again and land on the bridge.
    25. Walk toward the portal you just created. Stop before you go through it. Make a 90 degree turn to your right. Jump and fire another orange portal at the wall you are now facing.
    26. Turn around and walk to the end of this light bridge. Grab one of the falling cubes.
    27. Turn around again and walk through the orange portal while holding the cube.
    28. Face the exit door. Now turn right and fire an orange portal at that wall.
    29. Grab your cube and walk through the blue portal at the end of the light bridge. Keep walking until you get to the red button.
    30. Put the cube on the red button.
    31. Fire an orange portal at the wall to the right of the exit door.
    32. Now walk back outside the glass. Turn toward the point where the blue bridge originates (not one of your portals, the actual source).
    33. Fire an orange portal at the wall just below you. The bridge will appear, walk on it and go through the portal.
    34. Now fire a portal at the wall to the right of the exit door. Walk across it and out the door.
    35. Wheatley will show up on the way to your next test chamber to inform you that you’ll be breaking out soon. After he talks to you, you’ll be able to proceed to the next chamber.
    36. Fire a blue portal at the wall directly in front of you when you enter the next chamber.
    37. Now fire an orange portal above the blue bridge to your left. Step through the blue portal and onto the bridge.
    38. Fire an orange portal at the wall where the blue bridge strikes it. Now walk through the orange portal.
    39. Now fire fire another orange portal at the wall beneath the chute where the cubes come out. Press the red podium button to get a cube.
    40. Grab it when it lands on the bridge, and walk halfway out onto the bridge over the chasm. Fire an orange portal through the bridge and into the wall (towards the red podium).
    41. You’ll land on the new bridge and it will take you right to the red button. Drop the cube on the red button and exit the level.
    42. There’s a turret in your way in the next chamber. Portal behind it, pick it up and knock it over.
    43. The next turret can be disposed of by creating a portal underneath it.
    44. Head up the stairs, there’s more turrets behind a pane of glass. Create portals over their heads and drop cubes on them.
    45. There’s three more turrets in the next room. You can put a portal beneath one of them. Drop cubes on the other two.
    46. Drop a cube on the red button. There’s a bunch of debris in you way as you exit the room. Jump down into the pit. Make your way to the next test chamber.
    47. In the next chamber you’ll have cones that you need to hit with the laser. The laser must be hitting all the cones at once to activate the door.
    48. Grab the redirect cube and redirect the laser so it fires through two of the cones.
    49. Now find where the laser ends, put a portal on that wall and put another portal in front of the last cone. This will open the door. Chamber complete.
    50. In the next chamber, put a blue portal on the wall to the left of the three turrets. Now put an orange portal on the wall that the blue bridge is hitting. This will create a barrier that will block the turret around the corner.
    51. Face the single turret that is blocked by the light bridge, behind it to your left is a wall you can put a portal on. Stick an orange portal on that wall and then quickly jump into the blue portal to your right before the turret can shoot you.
    52. Look back towards the source of the light bridge. To your right is a wall place a blue portal on that wall and the light bridge will protect you from the turrets by the cube.
    53. Step on the red button between the two pillars. A glass wall with two turrets behind it will begin to lower. Before the wall can come all the way down, shoot a portal on the wall behind the glass. Now shoot another portal on your side and you can sneak behind the turrets and disable them.
    54. Shoot two portals inside the glass and GLADoS will lower the glass for you. As the glass goes down quickly move to the safety of the pillar or the turrets will kill you.
    55. Above the glass wall that trapped you is a wall you can stick a portal to. Shoot a blue on up there. Now go way back to where the blue bridge hits the wall and shoot an orange portal at that point.
    56. Now step on one of the aerial faith plates. The bridge will stop you on a catwalk. Walk across the catwalk and drop down on the sentry guns, disabling them.
    57. Take the companion cube. Put it on the red button. Exit the chamber.
    58. Watch out for the turret hiding in the grate in this next chamber. Move quickly past it and toward the red button. Stepping on the red button will activate the laser
    59. If you put a blue portal on the ground where the laser is striking and an orange portal on the wall the turrets are facing, all the turrets will die horribly. Do this and then step on the red button.
    60. Grab the plain cube and set in on the button. Then grab the redirect cube and fire it through the glass. Take out all the turrets and then line it up with the laser target.
    61. Exit the chamber.
    62. There’s a blue bridge in the next chamber. Fire a blue portal at the wall the bridge is striking. Put an orange portal at ground level and walk through it.
    63. Grab the cube, to the right of the laser target there’s a wall you can put an orange portal on. Do this.
    64. Now walk through the blue portal with the cube. Set the cube on the blue bridge directly above the red button, so that it blocks the laser. Blocking the laser will lower an elevator panel.
    65. Walk over to the elevator panel and get on. Now fire a blue portal at any portal surface. This will cut the bridge, causing the cube to fall and land on the red button while simultaneously unblocking the laser and causing the elevator to go up.
    66. Exit the level.

    Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 4: The Surprise

    1. Jump through the window and into the test chamber and get behind the wall to your left to take cover from the turret. There is also a laser back here: take note of it, you’ll need it later.
    2. All the way on the other side of the chamber is a room set back from the main chamber. If you are looking at the cube chute protruding from the ceiling, the room is to the left. Portal your way back there.
    3. In the room is a red podium button. When you press it, two redirect cubes launch off of aerial faith plates, fly into the air, crash into each other and fall into the water.
    4. Put an orange portal at the point where the blue light bridge hits the ceiling. Then put an orange portal right beneath the redirect cube chute that is farthest you. This will block the redirect cube and keep it from falling into the water.
    5. Grab one of the redirect cubes and aim the laser so that it makes a straight line through two of the target cones (the ones closest to you).
    6. Now grab the other redirect cube and use it to angle the laser at the turret. Then angle the laser through the last target cone and into the target on the wall.
    7. Fire an orange portal at the ceiling above the light bridge. Then fire a blue portal at the wall to the left of the door. Now the light bridge will take you over the pit and out of this test chamber.
    8. Don’t jump straight to the low ground in this next chamber, look straight ahead and down. There’s an aerial faith plate set back in the wall down there. Remember it.
    9. Now look to your right. There’s a redirect cube perched just out of jumping distance. But directly above the cube there’s a patch of ceiling you can tag with a portal. Do that, then stick another portal on the ground, jump through and grab the cube.
    10. Now portal your way up to the place where the laser meets the wall. Redirect the laser at the target cone that is across from you and slightly to the left.
    11. Head back down to the low ground. Put a portal on the ceiling directly above the aerial faith plate.
    12. Now put a portal on the wall across from the wall that the redirected laser is striking.
    13. Grab the cube and jump on the aerial faith plate. It will launch you to the area with the target cone.
    14. Redirect the laser again, make sure it is still going through the target cone, but also aim it at the other target cone on the platform across from you.
    15. You’ve got to grab one last redirect cube, it’s up on a high pedestal in the corner of the room. Put an orange portal above the aerial faith plate, and another on the wall that’s facing the cube. Now when you jump on the faith plate you’ll be able to grab the cube as you fly by.
    16. Set up the last redirect cube on the platform where the laser is currently striking. Use it to clear the turrets across from you, then aim the laser at the target on the wall to open the door.
    17. Put a portal on the wall across from the exit door, then put another one above the aerial faith plate. Jump on the faith plate one last time and you’re home free.
    18. This next chamber is tricky. You’ve got 3 lasers you need redirected but only two redirect cubes.
    19. When you first walk in, one laser will be striking a wall (Laser A), one will be striking the floor (Laser B) and a third is hitting a redirect cube (Laser C).
    20. Grab a redirect cube and make it so that Laser B is striking the same place Laser A is striking.
    21. Now use the other cube to make it so that Laser C strikes this spot as well.
    22. Put an orange portal on the point that all 3 lasers are now striking and put a blue portal on the wall opposite the laser targets. You may need to do some tweaking but eventually you’ll line up all 3 and the door will open.
    23. In the next chamber, look up until you find the exit door. Now look to the left and you’ll see a red podium button. Put a blue portal on the wall next to the podium button.
    24. Now put an orange portal on the wall where the light bridge is striking. Walk through the orange portal and press the buzzer. A cube will fall on the bridge. Walk toward it and the power will go out. Wheatley will show up soon to help you escape.
    25. Follow him through the secret passage and across the light bridge. Take a left on the catwalk.
    26. Follow the catwalk until you reach the top of the steps, then take a left. Go back down the steps and keep following the catwalk. At the end of the catwalk, take a left and follow Wheatley.
    27. GLaDOS will set up another test chamber: it’s a trap. Jump on the light bridge and take a right.
    28. You’ll fall of the light bridge and onto another catwalk. Do a 180 and keep following the catwalk.
    29. Eventually your only choice will be to go into a room with a low ceiling. Yellow panels will trap you in the room and turrets will appear. Use the large pipes in this room to avoid turret fire and sneak up behind the turrets. Disable them all.
    30. Once the turrets are disabled, start checking the corners of the room. If you jump and look through the gaps in the panel, you’ll find a surface you can hit with a portal. Now stick another portal on the wall inside the room and get out of there.
    31. Follow Wheatley again, but keep an eye out to your left. Eventually you’ll see a turret you can disable by sticking an orange portal underneath it and a blue one on the wall.
    32. Keep following Wheatley and move quickly because a test chamber will try to crush you. Get in the lift directly ahead of you to prevent this from happening.

    Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 5: The Escape

    1. The door immediately ahead of you gets stuck. Shoot a portal through the crack and then put another one on the wall next to you.
    2. Hang a left, then a right, and you’ll find yourself back on a catwalk. Keep following Wheatley.
    3. The lights will go out. Wait for Wheatley to turn on his flashlight.
    4. Keep following the catwalk. you’ll go up and down some steps, then you’ll see a conveyor belt with turrets on it that isn’t moving.
    5. Jump on the conveyor belt and go right. After a few paces there will be a platform with another staircase to your left.
    6. Jump over there and head up the steps. Begin following the catwalk again. The catwalk will end and you’ll fall onto a staircase. Keep going straight until you get to a wall.
    7. Now look down. There should be some metal plates moving on an assembly line below you. Jump down onto the metal plates.
    8. Look in the direction the plates are moving. There are lasers with robotic arms. Do your best to avoid these. Keep an eye out to your left. There will be a catwalk you can jump to.
    9. Take a few steps on the catwalk and jump down into the ventilation shaft.
    10. Make your way through the catwalks and Wheatley will shine his flashlight at a wall. Look in the upper left area of this wall and you’ll see a recessed area.
    11. Fire an orange portal into the recessed area. Now fire a blue portal at the wall and get up there.
    12. Make a left, then a right, and you’ll see a railing. Way across the room, you’ll see a wall that you can put portals on. Go there.
    13. Across from you and to your right will be yet another wall that’s good for portals. Put an orange one on it and a blue one on the wall behind you, then hop through.
    14. You’ll land on another metal catwalk. Follow it and take a right at the T intersection. You’ll pass some turrets in various stages of assembly.
    15. Eventually you’ll come to a shaft with a tube carrying cubes running down the center of it. Walk on the twisting tube until you get to the bottom where you’ll find a corridor.
    16. Make a left through a set of double doors and you’ll get a loading screen.
    17. Pass through the office and step out onto the catwalk. To your right is a wall you can put a blue portal on. Put an orange portal on the other wall and drop down onto the conveyor belt.
    18. Near where the turrets are being incinerated there will be beige box you can jump on. From there, you can get onto the air ducts.
    19. Take the ducts up to the next conveyor belt and hop on.
    20. When you get to the next incinerator, hop off to your left and you’ll fall down to another catwalk.
    21. Follow the catwalk through an emancipation grid and you’ll see turrets firing at a dummy behind a glass wall.
    22. The glass wall doesn’t completely cut you off from the turret area. There’s a gap between the glass and the ceiling that will allow you to fire a portal through. If you look above the area where the test dummy is, there’s a piece of ceiling you can hit with a portal. Do this and jump into the test area.
    23. Get behind the wall to dodge turret fire. When a defective turret comes by, pop out from behind the wall and fire a blue portal at the wall behind the turret. Move around to the front of the firing wall and put an orange portal on it, then hop through.
    24. Follow the catwalk and head up the steps.
    25. Wheatley will lead you into the turret control center. Then he will “hack” the door to the template turret.
    26. Portal in there and wreck the template turret. This will not stop production.
      *Scan yourself for the “Scanned Alone” achievement.
    27. If you watch the turrets going by, you can see the robotic arm tossing the defective ones in an incinerator. Go over there and grab one of the defective turrets, then put it back in the place of the template.
    28. Wheatley will hack another door for you to go through. Walk down the passageway and make a left when you get to the office.
    29. Make your way through the daycare area and down a flight of metal steps. Keep following Wheatley.
    30. After passing through a set of doors, you’ll climb the steps next to the neurotoxin machine.
    31. Take the lift up to the neurotoxin control room. Press the red button to open the door.
    32. Once inside, don’t wait for Wheatley to do any “hacking.” Look near the red button you used to open the door to find a laser. Fire a blue portal into the wall that the laser. Then walk back through the control room and find the large container with tubes coming out of the top.
    33. To the left, panels are moving up along the far wall. Fire an orange portal onto one of the panels and use the laser to cut the tubes.
    34. To the right, panels are moving across the ceiling. Fire an orange portal at one of them to cut the tubes on that side.
    35. Head into the room that Wheatley is in and a tube will take you to GLaDOS.
    36. Upon exiting the tube, climb the steps and make a left just before you get to the green door. You’ll be on a ledge looking into a large foggy abyss.
    37. In the distance above you, you’ll see a lighted piece of ceiling that you can stick a portal to. Put a portal on the wall behind you and jump through.
    38. You’ll find yourself in a room with a door marked “GLaDOS Emergency Shut Down and Cake Dispensary.”
    39. GLaDOS will attempt to kill you, but you don’t have to do anything until Wheatley shows up.
    40. When Wheatley arrives, plug him into the outlet that appears from the floor.
    41. On one side of the room, a red podium button will appear beneath a spotlight.
    42. The button is guarded by panels that will toss you backwards. You’ll have to portal your way past the first row of panels.
    43. You can trick the second row of panels by setting up portals on opposite sides of the room and then running through at full speed.
    44. After you push the button, walk back to the core transfer bay. After a brief exchange between Wheatley and GLaDOS, you will find yourself falling down a pit.

    Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 6: The Fall

    1. After you finish falling, you’ll find yourself in a pit strewn with debris. Follow the little stream and then take a right.
    2. You’ll walk across two fallen beams and into a large pipe. Take a right when you get out of the pipe and you’ll see a chain link fence. On the other side of the fence, to the left, is a wall you can put a blue portal on.
    3. Put an orange portal on the wall behind you and jump through.
    4. When you get to the other side, look up and to your left. There’s a piece of ceiling that you can put a blue portal on. Put an orange portal on the wall and get up there.
    5. Face the red pipe. Now make a 90 degree turn to your right and you’ll find a gap in the wall. Go through the gap and take a left.
    6. When you hit the dead end, you’ll see a fence on your right.
    7. Look through the fence and on the left you’ll see a white surface you can portal to.
    8. Jump off the broken catwalk and follow the grey path straight ahead.
    9. When the path gets blocked by debris, hang a left and you’ll start heading uphill. There will be a wall that says “Condemned Test Area.”
    10. While facing the wall, look up and to your left. There’s a fire escape on the side of the building and at the landing there’s a flat surface you can hit with a portal. Warp up there.
    11. Walk down the catwalk and look down to ground level. You’ll see a flat beige section of wall on the other side of the wall. Hit it with a portal and get down there.
    12. When you come out of the portal, hang a right and you’ll see signs that say “Do not enter” and “Keep out.” Walk past these signs.
    13. You’ll find a grey pipe you can jump down to. Follow the pipe.
    14. When you come to a closed gate look to your left. There will be a lever; pull it. The gate will open and you can hop down.
    15. Directly ahead of you is a big circular vault door. Look up and to the left. There’s a control room you can portal your way into.
    16. Once inside, push the red button that says “hatch override.” Now portal over to the control room directly across from the one you are in. There’s another button that you need to push.
    17. When that’s done, you can enter the hatch. Behind the big circular door was a much smaller grey door. Go inside.
    18. After going through a second door, take a left. Walk across the catwalk and head up the steps.
    19. Once up the steps, find the vault door that’s cluttered with rocks. It’s open a crack and you can portal your way in there.
    20. Now walk to the door with two windows in it and look to your left. There’s a lever. Pull it and the door will open.
    21. Look up at the catwalk that says “Main Lift.” To the right of that is an angled piece of pillar.
    22. Look way above the angled piece of pillar. There’s some metal beams you can portal your way onto.
    23. Once up there, look down. You’ll be able to hit the angled part of the pillar with an orange portal. On the ground just ahead of that is a flat place you can hit with a blue portal. Hit it and jump through the blue portal. You may have to walk around the beams to find a good spot to jump from.
    24. You’ll come shooting out of the orange portal, through the Aperture Science sign and land next to a door that will open automatically for you. Go through it.
    25. Hang a right, go through the reception hall and another sliding door. You’ll find a lift on the ground level. Get in and press the red button to start moving up.
    26. When the lift stops, get off and take a left and another left. In the distance you’ll see couple of doors set in a wall that you can hit with a portal. Zoom in and you’ll see that just above the door, the concrete is angled up.
    27. You want to stick a blue portal on the part that’s angled up, just above the blue door on the left.
    28. Now walk around the lift, start heading down the steps but look towards the interior. After a couple flights you’ll see a way to get into the center of the elevator shaft.
    29. At the very bottom of the elevator shaft is a floor that you can put a portal on. Put an orange one on it and jump down the shaft.
    30. You’ll come shooting out of the blue portal and land on a catwalk.
    31. Go through the door.
    32. Take a left, go into the control room and find the lever that says “Gel Pressure Control.” Pull the lever.
    33. Find the wall with the blue and white “Alpha” painted on it and look up. There’s a doorway with a catwalk leading out from it.
    34. Portal your way up there and step out onto the catwalk.
    35. Hang a right, climb down the pipe and pass through the emancipation grid into the elevator.
    36. Make a left at the “You Are Here” sign then make a right and head through another emancipation grid.
    37. You’ll find a pit filled with blue goo. Jump into the pit and you’ll find the goo makes you bounce.
    38. Bounce your way to the other side.
    39. Now make a left turn and look up. To your left you’ll see a platform you can portal up to. Get up there.
    40. Now turn towards the blue pit. Across from you, you’ll see a red podium button. You need to use the blue goo to bounce over there and press it.
    41. A cube will fall out of a cube chute. Take it back to the platform with the red button and set it on the button.
    42. Now bounce back to the exit landing and exit the test chamber.
    43. The bridge to the next test chamber has been destroyed. Head up the catwalk and look up and to your right. There’s a spot you can hit with a portal.
    44. To your left, at the edge of the catwalk on the left-hand side, you’ll see another wall you can hit with a portal. Do it and jump through.
    45. Hang a left out of the portal and when you get to the edge of the destroyed catwalk, jump down onto the steps. Then walk through the emancipation grid.
    46. Look to your right and you’ll see a panel moving back and forth on a track. If you look above the panel when it has reaches the wall on the left, you’ll see a piece of ceiling you can hit with a blue portal.
    47. Once you’ve hit it, use the blue goo on the ground to bounce up to the next level.
    48. Put an orange portal on the wall, then look through it and wait for the panel to show up. When it does, jump through.
    49. As the panel moves, you’ll see a room with a cube in it on your left. Grab the cube.
    50. If your standing in the room with the cube and you look to your left, you’ll see a raised area with a red button.
    51. Stick a blue portal on the wall by the red button.
    52. Now take the cube for a bounce on the blue goo and put an orange portal on the wall.
    53. Hop through the portal and put the cube on the button.
    54. Now follow the orange line leading away from the button. You’ll find that there’s now a panel on the wall that you can put a blue portal on. Do it.
    55. Put an orange portal on the wall behind you. Jump through, bounce on the goo and you’ll land on a platform with an emancipation grid and a button behind it.
    56. Step through the emancipation grid.
    57. There’s blue goo on either wall and a pit in the center. If you jump into the blue goo, you’ll find you can bounce back and forth and move forward. Do this to get to the other side.
    58. Grab the cube, bounce off the blue goo on the ground and set the cube on the button.
    59. Step back through the emancipation grid and you’ll find that a new panel has appeared. To find it, look to your left and then look up. It will have a number 2 next to it. Put a blue portal on it.
    60. Now bounce on the blue goo, stick an orange portal to the wall and jump through.
    61. You’ll fall into the blue goo and bounce right to the exit. Go through it and get in the next lift.
    62. Step out of the lift and jump down onto the concrete.
    63. You’ll find a twisted steal beam you can use to cross the murky water.
    64. Once on the other side, find the concrete pillar closest to the pipe with the blue arrow. Look at the top of the pillar (use zoom). There’s a small area you can hit with a portal. Put a blue one there and then an orange one on the base of one of the pillars. Get up there.
    65. Look to your left and you’ll see a room with a red podium button. You can put a portal on the floor and warp in there.
    66. Press the red podium button and blue goo will start falling from a tube. You can move the goo to other locations by putting one portal where the goo is hitting and another in the location you want covered in goo.
    67. If you look at the wall with the orange dotted line, you’ll see two giant metal steps to your right. Use portals to get some goo on the ground so that you can bounce up there.
    68. Once you’re as high as you can get, look across the room and find the emancipation grid.
    69. If you put some blue goo on the ground level, you can bounce across to where the grid is.
    70. Once you’re there, stick a blue portal to that angled panel. Now move around the emancipation grid (don’t go through it). Put an orange portal beneath the blue goo. Now some goo will shoot out of the angled panel and land on the metal floor across the pit.
    71. Now, while you’re on the high ground, shoot an orange portal at the low ground and jump through. You’ll come flying through the blue portal on the angled panel, bounce off the goo and land by the exit.
    72. Grab the lift and get to the next test chamber.
    73. Look around on the walls and find the blue line leading to the red podium buzzer. Put a blue portal on the spot that the blue goo is hitting and redirect some of it to the floor just below the button.
    74. Now bounce up there and press the button. You have just stopped the water that was flowing onto the little patch of metal floor. But it will start up again shortly so move fast.
    75. Quickly look to your left and locate the panel on the wall. Fire an orange portal at it. This will send some blue goo shooting at that spot that the water is no longer hitting.
    76. Now bounce off that spot and up to the next level. If the water hits the spot before you get a chance to bounce, you’ll have to try again.
    77. Pass through the emancipation grid and locate the angled panel. Now use portals to make some blue goo come shooting out of the angled panel.
    78. Look to the left of that angled panel. You need to shoot a blue portal at the top of one of those pillars above the metal beam. Put an orange one on the ground and get up there.
    79. Once you’re on the beams, fire an orange portal at the angled panel and then a blue one at the ground. Now jump through the blue portal and you’ll fly out of the angled panel, bounce off the goo and through an emancipation grid.
    80. Locate the two pillars that form a “U.” One of those pillars has an angled part. Do not leave the high ground. You want to shoot some blue goo at that angled part. You can do this by putting a blue portal on the pillar across from it and an orange portal beneath the blue goo tube.
    81. Once that’s done, put an orange portal on the ground and jump (you should not have left the high ground). You’ll come shooting out of the pillar on the left, bounce off the goo-covered kink in the pillar on the right and go flying up to another catwalk.
    82. Once you’re up here, look for a portal-friendly patch of wall on the pillar your catwalk is connected to. Above that is another patch of portal-friendly wall. Put one on the low patch, one on the high patch and get up there. The exit will be waiting.
    83. The next chamber features a cube in a glass case. You’ve got to get some blue goo on that cube, so find the spot where the goo is hitting and fire a portal at it. Now fire a portal to the ceiling above the cube. The cube will bounce out of its case when the goo hits it.
    84. Grab the cube and use the water to wash it off. Then set it on the red button.
    85. Follow the line coming from the red button to the lift. Get some blue goo underneath the lift and bounce up there.
    86. Now, while standing on the lift, use portals to get some more blue goo on the cube and it will bounce off the button, causing your elevator to move up. After getting off the lift, you’ll pass through an emancipation grid and get into an elevator.
    87. Immediately after exiting the elevator, look to your left. You’ll see a wall you can hit with a portal across a large expanse.
    88. Walk into the reception hall. There’s a portal-friendly piece of wall hidden just around a corner on the left-hand side. Put one on there and hop through.
    89. Go through the door and into the room filled with two large pipes.
    90. Look up and find the portal-friendly wall above the catwalk. Portal your way up to the catwalk.
    91. Up and to your left is a control room. If you look to the right of the control room, there is a portal-friendly piece of wall at the top of the wall, but you can’t hit it from where you are because it’s blocked by glass. Remember where that patch of wall is. This is going to get tricky.
    92. There are two portal-friendly pieces of ground below you. Fire a blue portal at the nearest piece of ground and an orange one at the farthest piece of ground. When you come out of that orange portal, look for the patch of wall directly opposite the control room.
    93. You need to hit that piece of wall with a BLUE portal while you’re in mid-air. As you fall back into the orange portal, you’ll come shooting out of the new blue portal you’ve made on the wall opposite the control room. Presto! You’re in the control room.
    94. Pull all the levers in the control room.
    95. Now walk through the emancipation grid and outside.
    96. Once outside, locate the yellow catwalk with the gate at the end of it. Stand at the edge of the catwalk and look at the gate. Now turn around.
    97. Look up the wall you are now looking at. There’s a catwalk you can portal your way to at the top.
    98. Once you’re up there, you can see the exit just beyond the Aperture Science sign.
    99. Look to your right and down and you’ll see an angled piece of concrete that’s portal-friendly. Hit it with a blue portal. Now fire an orange portal at the portal-friendly patch of ground below you. Jump through the orange portal.
    100. You’ll go flying through the air and land in the control room. You’ll find GLaDOS in potato form; grab her and activate the elevator control button.
    101. Now portal your way back to the catwalk you just jumped off of. You’re going to do it again.
    102. Line yourself up with the elevator. Turn around and shoot a blue portal as high up on the wall as you can.
    103. Find the portal-friendly patch of ground below you, make an orange portal and jump through. You will launch yourself right to the elevator.

    Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 7: The Reunion

    1. In the next chamber locate the platform with the red podium button on it is located high up in one of the room’s corners.
    2. Throw a portal on the ceiling above the platform and get up there. Press the red button: it will start some red-orange goo flowing. The orange goo makes you slide rather than bounce.
    3. Remember how you moved the blue goo to places you wanted using portals? Use this same trick to cover the runway leading up to the ramp in orange goo. If you trace the runway back to where it meets the wall, that’s the best spot to put a blue portal on. Now put an orange portal portal beneath the goo tube.
    4. Make sure the ramp and runway are completely covered.
    5. Before you take off, shoot a blue portal at the ceiling above buzzer.
    6. Now get a good running start and hit the ramp full speed.
    7. You’ll go flying to into another passageway. Follow the arrows until the catwalk dead ends. Now make a 180-degree turn and fire an orange portal at that wall. Jump through the portal.
    8. You should land right next to the red podium button. Put a blue portal beneath the goo and press the button. Now launch yourself off the ramp again.
    9. Great, now run down to where the catwalk ends and just keep going. There should be orange goo all over the place and you’ll slide right across the gap.
    10. Now you’ll find a cube behind some glass with a hole in it. Fire a portal behind the cube and another portal on the wall behind you. Then grab the cube.
    11. Fire one more portal back the way you came and jump through the one on the wall again. Now make your way back to where the ramp is.
    12. Set the cube on the red button. This will change the angle of the ramp. Launch yourself off the ramp again.
    13. Now, find the portal-friendly piece of floor and put a blue portal on it. Put an orange portal back where the ramp is. Jump through the blue portal.
    14. Now put an orange portal on the wall where it meets the runway. This time, start at the ramp and run through the portal on the wall (basically using the ramp in reverse).
    15. When you come flying out of the blue portal, tag the button located at the apex of your jump.
    16. The door will open and you can head on through the emancipation grid.
    17. In the next chamber the floor beneath the goo dispensers is covered with a grate, but you can still shoot portals through this grate.
    18. First, look across the gap and you’ll see a portal-friendly piece of wall on a pillar. Stick a blue portal to this and an orange portal to floor beneath the orange goo dispenser. No press the red button next to the dispenser and you’ll cover the ramp with goo.
    19. Now look up and you’ll see a piece of ceiling tile with a red “X” on it. Fire a portal up there and connect the other portal to the blue goo dispenser.
    20. When you’ve finished, what you’ve created will be an orange runway with a blue trampoline at the end of it.
    21. Start running on the orange runway and you’ll bounce when you hit the blue. You’ll sail safely to your destination across the ravine.
    22. Now, walk around the pillar and find the portal-friendly piece of wall on the other side. Fire a blue portal at it.
    23. Now look up. Fire an orange portal at the wall that is located higher up on the pillar.
    24. Walk through the blue portal.
    25. Now walk around to the other side of the pillar and fire an blue portal at any portal-friendly piece of wall back by the ramp.
    26. Once you’re back on the other side fire a blue portal at the wall that you hit when you bounce of your trampoline ramp.
    27. Now bounce off of your trampoline ramp. You should fly into the blue portal then out the orange portal on the other side of the pillar and right to the elevator.
    28. In the next chamber, align yourself so that you’re standing between the two goo dispensers. If you look to your right you’ll see a portal friendly piece of wall that’s below an angled portal-friendly piece of wall. Put a blue portal on the portal-friendly piece of wall and get over there.
    29. Now put a blue portal on the angled piece of wall just above the flat piece of wall. Put an orange portal beneath the blue goo dispenser. You’ve just created a trampoline that you can’t see but you’ll be using it momentarily.
    30. If you look at the ground, you’ll see that there are red arrows pointing toward the wall. You need to cover them with orange goo. Throw a blue portal on the flat piece of wall that the red arrows are pointing at. Put an orange portal beneath the orange goo dispenser and that should do the trick.
    31. Now put the orange portal on the angled piece of wall. At this point your orange portal should be stacked on top of your blue portal.
    32. Back up to the end of your runway, then run into the blue portal. You’ll come shooting out the orange one and bounce off the trampoline you created earlier.
    33. You’ll land on a suspended platform with a cube on it. Grab the cube and drop down to the catwalk below you.
    34. Look to the left of the runway you created earlier. There’s a portal friendly piece of wall and a red button down there. Get down there.
    35. Set the cube down, but NOT on the red button.
    36. First put a blue portal on the ground beneath the piece of ceiling that is held by the robotic arm. Now put an orange portal back by the runway you created earlier.
    37. Jump through the blue portal. From here, you should be able to see the blue goo dispenser. Hit the ground beneath the dispenser with an orange portal. This should get some blue goo on that piece of ceiling above your blue portal.
    38. Now put a blue portal back by where your cube is and put an orange portal on the wall behind you.
    39. Jump through the orange portal. Place your cube on the red button. This will cause the robot arm to flip the panel with the blue goo around. You’ve created another trampoline.
    40. Portal your way back to the runway you created earlier. Now face the wall at the end of your runway. Look up and to your left. There’s a ramp up there with a piece of portal-friendly wall in front of it. Fire an orange portal onto the wall in front of that ramp.
    41. Now throw a blue portal under the orange goo dispenser. You’ve just covered the ramp in orange goo.
    42. Stick your blue portal back on the wall at the end of your runway. Now back up to the end and run through the portal. You’ll bounce off the trampoline and right to the exit.
    43. When you get off the elevator, head through the emancipation grid. Make your way into the building and locate the next emancipation grid which is connected to a catwalk above you.
    44. Portal your way up there and pass through the grid.
    45. You’ll see a sign that says “gamma” and has an arrow pointing right. Look right and there’s a portal friendly wall across a large expanse.
    46. Portal your way over there and pass through the emancipation grid.
    47. Follow the catwalk into the control room, where you’ll find three gel pressure control levers. Pull all three of them.
    48. This will start the red, blue and white gels flowing in the room. It will also activate some pneumatic crushers on the catwalk. Don’t get caught under those.
    49. The white gel is a portal conductor gel. This means that any surface with white gel on it is now a portal surface.
    50. Some white gel has splashed on the ceiling just above a suspended piece of catwalk. Hit it with a portal and get up there.
    51. Look around until you find the “Keep Out” sign. There’s some blue goo in the pit below the sign, you can use it to bounce over to that catwalk.
    52. Move through the emancipation grid and use the orange goo on the catwalk to slide through the pneumatic crushers. Go through the door and out onto the catwalk.
    53. A segment of the catwalk is missing. Look toward the door on the other side of the catwalk.
    54. Do a 180, behind you is an angled, portal friendly piece of wall. Stick a blue portal on it.
    55. Now go back inside and set up an orange portal on the other side of the crushers. Wait till the crushers are raised, then run down the orange goo covered runway and through the orange portal.
    56. You’ll shoot across the broken catwalk and land safely on the other side.
    57. Once inside the building, locate the portrait of Cave Johnson. There’s a door to the right. Go inside and push the red button. This will open the door to another catwalk.
    58. Take a right at the “Please Do Not Test If…” sign. Get in the elevator.
    59. You’ll enter a room with white goo spilling onto the floor. Throw a blue portal on the spot where the white goo is hitting the ground.
    60. This next part is just trial and error. Start throwing orange portals on different areas that the white goo has hit until you get some of the white goo outside the enclosure, then portal out.
    61. Locate the angled panel with the spotlight over it and get some white goo on that.
    62. Near the angled panel are three large pillars. Locate the pillar with the catwalk at the top. You need to get up there.
    63. Get some goo on the wall of one of the pillars that is facing another pillar.
    64. Once you get some goo on the pillar wall, you can put a put a portal on that pillar and have the white goo shoot at the pillar facing it. The goo will get a little higher up. Then repeat the process and make the goo slowly climb the pillars until you can portal up to the catwalk.
    65. Once on the catwalk throw blue portal on the goo covered, angled panel. Now throw an orange portal on the ground. Jump into it from the catwalk.
    66. You’ll go sailing through the air and land on another catwalk. Follow the catwalk and pass through two sets of doors and an emancipation grid.
    67. Make your way through the building and you’ll come out the other side and find yourself standing in front of a pit.
    68. Put a blue portal on one of the walls in the pit. Then look up, you may need to zoom but you’ll find a portal friendly wall above the highest catwalk. Get up there.
    69. Look up again, you’ll see another catwalk above you, portal your way up to this one too.
    70. There’s a stopped elevator here. The floor in the elevator is portal-friendly and there’s a hole in the elevator’s roof directly above it. Put a blue portal on that piece of floor.
    71. Exit the elevator and step to your left. Step to where the catwalk ends. Now look down. Put an orange portal on the ground below you and jump through.
    72. Press W as you come shooting out of the elevator floor. You’ll wind up a few levels up on a wooden board. There will be writing on the wall that says 2900M.
    73. Next to the wooden board, there’s a portal-friendly piece of floor. Put a blue portal on it. Now put an orange portal on the floor of the elevator and jump through.
    74. As you reach the apex of your jump coming out of the blue portal, look around for a piece of angled, portal-friendly wall. You can bounce back and forth between your portals a few times while you’re looking.
    75. When you find it, tag it with an orange portal and the next time you fall through your blue portal you’ll come shooting out of the angled section. You’ll land on a catwalk with a door, head on through.
    76. Make your way back outside and locate the four pillars. Look up and you’ll see that you can portal onto the beams that connect the pillars.
    77. Get on the beams and then look around for a catwalk that’s attached to a door. Put a blue portal on the angled piece of wall above the door. Then put an orange portal on the ground and jump through from the pillars.
    78. You’ll go flying up to an even higher level, this one will have some blue goo dripping onto the ground. Fire a blue portal at the spot the blue goo is hitting. Now put an orange portal on the angled piece of wall that you came flying out of.
    79. The goo will launch out of the orange portal and hit a piece of wall, creating a trampoline.
    80. Repeat the earlier process of putting a portal on the angled piece of wall and then jumping through an orange portal on the ground.
    81. This time when you come flying out of the angled piece of wall, you’ll bounce off the trampoline and up another level.
    82. On this level there’s one piece of portal-friendly ground. Find it and put a blue portal on it.
    83. Now drop down one level. Find the ground where you jumped into the portal last time, put another orange portal there and jump back through.
    84. As you come flying out of the blue portal look ahead of you and you’ll see some portal friendly ground behind some metal cross beams. Hit that ground with an orange portal.
    85. After you fall back through the blue portal and come shooting out of the orange portal, press W or simply fire an orange portal somewhere else so that you don’t fall back through it.
    86. Once you’ve landed safely, you’ll see an emancipation grid. Go through it.
    87. You’ll find yourself in a room with all three types of goo being dispensed.
    88. Stand between the orange and white dispensers and look toward the blue dispenser. You should see a flat wall with an angled section above it. Neither one are portal-portal friendly and the first step is to fix that.
    89. Look up above the angled section of wall and you’ll see a grate with a piece of portal-friendly ceiling behind it. Tag that with a blue portal.
    90. Now put an orange portal beneath the white goo dispenser. This should cover both the angled and flat sections of the wall with goo.
    91. Now put a blue portal on the flat part of the wall which is now covered with white goo.
    92. Put an orange portal beneath the orange goo dispenser. This will create a runway leading up to where the blue goo is dripping.
    93. Put an orange portal on the angled part of the wall. Then put a blue portal on the highest flat part of the wall, just below your orange portal.
    94. Back up to the end of your orange goo runway and run toward the blue goo dispenser. When you hit the blue goo you should bounce into the blue portal and come shooting out of the orange one.
    95. Once your up here, you’ll see you need to create two trampolines to get to your final goal.
    96. You’ve got two pieces of portal-friendly floor where the trampolines need to be.
    97. Fire a blue portal at the first patch of portal-friendly floor (you can shoot through the grates on the floor). Now fire an orange portal under the white goo dispenser. White goo will come out and make a portal-friendly surface on the ceiling.
    98. Fire an orange portal at this new portal friendly surface, fire a blue portal beneath the blue goo dispenser. This will create a trampoline.
    99. Repeat this process with the second piece of portal-friendly floor.
    100. Now you’re all ready to go. Drop back down to the lower level, set up a blue portal on the highest part of the flat wall and an orange one on the angled wall above it.
    101. Back up to the edge of your runway, run down it and hit the blue trampoline beneath the dispenser. You’ll fly out of the orange portal, bounce on both the trampolines you created and land safely at your destination.
    102. Walk around the pillar and you’ll see some white goo dripping on the ground.
    103. Look up and you’ll see a portal-friendly piece of wall behind a grate. Fire a blue portal at it. Now fire an orange portal the ground that’s covered in white goo.
    104. Jump through the orange portal.
    105. Once you’re up here walk to the shaft with pipes running down it. Look up and to the left. There’s another piece of portal-friendly wall behind a grate. Hit it with a blue portal.
    106. You should still have the orange portal beneath the white goo dispenser, at this point the inside of the shaft should be converted into portal friendly surfaces by the white goo.
    107. Portal your way up as far as you can. You’ll see a small railing that you can stand behind. Try to portal your way over there.
    108. Eventually you’ll see some portal friendly wall behind a grate at the top of the shaft. Hit it with a portal and warp behind the grate.
    109. Look up at the catwalk and find the place where it leads to a door. There should be a single light hanging over the door. You can put a portal on the wall above the door. Get up there.
    110. Now search the upper corners until you see the catwalk with the words “Gel Pump” written in yellow. Look at the wall directly opposite those words.
    111. Right where the wall meets the ceiling is a piece of portal-friendly wall. Stick a blue portal on it.
    112. Now walk along the catwalk toward the point where the 3 pipes disappear below the grate. Look down but don’t jump down to the grate.
    113. On the ground level there’s a piece of ground that’s portal friendly, put an orange portal on it and jump through.
    114. You’ll catapult over to the “Gen Pump” catwalk.
    115. Walk into the control room and push the “hatch override” button. You’ll have a brief conversation with GLaDOS.
    116. A lift type contraption will lower itself out of the hatch in the ceiling. Get to it and get inside.
    117. After it pulls you up, you’ll find a staircase, then pass through an emancipation grid and get in an elevator.

    Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 8: The Itch

    1. After the second time, he’ll let you move on.
    2. The next room has a blue beam in it. Step into the beam and it will push you up to the next level.
    3. You’ll find a cube up there on an elevated area. Look at the wall opposite the ledge where the cube sits. There’s a portal-friendly place on the upper right portion of the wall. Hit it with a blue portal.
    4. Now put an orange portal on the ceiling where the blue beam strikes it. Step into the blue beam and you’ll float right to the cube.
    5. Grab the cube and portal back down to the lower level.
    6. Now look on the ceiling and locate the red button.
    7. Put a blue portal on the floor beneath the button and an orange portal where the blue beam hits the ceiling.
    8. You’ve created a blue beam that leads right up to the button. Set the cube in the beam and it will float up there and open the door for you.
    9. Hop back in the blue beam, exit it on the second level and walk through the door.
    10. Hop in the elevator and when you get out walk straight up to the ledge.
    11. Look down, there’s a blue beam down there.
    12. To your right is a portal-friendly piece of wall. Tag it with a blue portal.
    13. Now jump down into the blue beam.
    14. Put an orange portal on the wall you are being pushed into. You’ll float through and come out the blue one you put on the wall.
    15. Look to your left as soon as you exit the blue portal and you’ll see a portal friendly piece of wall. Hit that with a blue portal just as you as you line up with it. If you hit the wall ahead of you or behind you, you’re going to fall to your doom. But if you hit it just right, it will create a new beam that will carry you to the right.
    16. Look down and when you get over the portal-friendly piece of ground, shoot it with a blue portal. You’ll start moving up in the beam now.
    17. You’ll come to a landing with a red podium button on it. Face the button and look to the left to locate the cube chute.
    18. You need to get a blue beam beneath the cube chute so that when you press the podium button, the cube falls into the beam.
    19. Put a blue portal on the wall that doesn’t have a screen with Wheatley on it.
    20. Now press the button and the cube will float to the platform that you used to get up to the level you’re on.
    21. Stick a portal under the cube when it gets there and it will float right up to you.
    22. Now set the cube on the portal-friendly piece of ground and put a blue portal beneath it. The cube will float up to a button that needs pressing.
    23. The exit door will open and you can proceed to the next test area.
    24. In the next area, Wheatley will crash a part of another portal room into the room you are standing in.
    25. Look toward the exit door. If you stick a blue portal to the right of the door and an orange portal above the blue beam, you can float to the other side of the chamber. Do this.
    26. Once on the other side you’ll see a red podium button and beyond that an aerial faith plate. The button will drop a cube into the abyss and it’s clear you need to get a blue beam underneath it.
    27. Put a blue portal on the wall to the left so that a blue beam forms beneath the cube chute.
    28. Press the button and a cube will fall into the beam. Wait until it hits the wall, then fire a blue portal into the wall beyond it. The cube will get pushed toward you.
    29. Put a blue portal on the left side wall just above the green circle. The portal should be as close to the wall with the green circle as you can get it. You’ll create a blue beam going across the room.
    30. Now grab the cube and step on the aerial faith plate. You’ll land in the blue beam and begin moving right.
    31. Look down and when you’re over safe ground, step out of the beam.
    32. Look at the exit door. The platform you need to step on to exit extends a bit to the right. Place a blue portal on the ground directly in front of the right-most portion of that platform.
    33. A blue beam will come out of that portal and move toward the ceiling. Grab the cube and step in the beam.
    34. When you get to the ceiling look at the part of the blue beam that is moving horizontally across the room.
    35. Move toward that part of the beam. Let go of the cube as it enters the horizontal beam and it should begin floating with the beam.
    36. Quickly ride the blue portal back up and jump off on the exit platform. You need to do this before the cube hits your orange portal.
    37. Now stick a blue portal on the wall opposite the red button that is located above the exit door. When you’re cube floats through the orange portal it will come out the blue one and float right to the button. The door will open and you can get out of there.
    38. In the next chamber, you’ve got a turret guarding a red button. Put a blue portal on the wall, right where the turret’s targeting laser is. Note: If the turret can see you the targeting laser will be aimed at you. Back up out of sight.
    39. Now put an orange portal on the wall that the blue beam is striking.
    40. The blue beam will carry the turret over a cliff and if you relocate either of your portals, you’ll drop him.
    41. Look across the divide and you’ll see cube on the right. If you look at the wall on your left (the same wall the blue beam is striking), you’ll see a portal-friendly piece of wall that’s aligned with the cube.
    42. Stick a blue portal to that piece of wall and put an orange portal on the wall the blue beam is striking.
    43. Now step on the red button that’s on the ground.
    44. The blue beam will turn orange and begin pulling the cube instead of pushing it.
    45. Wait until the cube gets in front of a portal-friendly piece of the wall that is facing you. Then fire blue portal at that wall.
    46. Step off the button and the beam will turn back to blue and push the cube toward you.
    47. Grab the cube and put it on the red button. Now stick a blue portal on the wall opposite you (but not lined up with the button).
    48. Hop into the orange beam and you’ll float safely to the other side.
    49. Now put a blue portal on the wall opposite the red button. The blue beam will knock the cube off the button.
    50. Put another blue portal on the ground beneath the exit door and you’ll create a blue button that you can ride straight to the exit.
    51. In the next chamber, put a blue portal on the spot that the blue beam is striking.
    52. Now put an orange portal on that portal-friendly piece of ground between the two aerial faith plates.
    53. You’ll create a blue beam coming up out of that piece of ground. Now step on the aerial faith plate.
    54. You’ll get caught in the beam and as you float toward the ceiling look for an angled piece of wall on the far side of the room. Put a blue portal on that. You’ll cut off the blue beam and fall through your orange portal.
    55. You’ll come shooting out of the angled piece of wall and land on a platform with the exit and a red podium button.
    56. Put a blue portal back on the wall that the blue beam is striking and an orange one back on the ground between the two faith plates.
    57. Now push the red podium button.
    58. Let the cube get caught in the blue beam and float to the ceiling. Now put a blue portal on the angled piece of wall you used to shoot to the platform.
    59. The cube will shoot to the platform you’re on. Place it on the red button and exit the chamber.
    60. In the next room you can find a red podium button to your left. Push the button and watch the course that the cube takes as it launches off the aerial faith plate and into the ravine.
    61. You can find a light bridge on the right hand wall. Put a blue portal on the piece of wall that the light bridge is striking.
    62. Place an orange portal over the ravine so that the light bridge blocks the path of the cube and stops it from falling into the emancipation grid.
    63. Put an orange portal on the portal friendly piece of wall to the right of the exit door. This will create a light bridge that will stop you from overshooting the catwalk when you step on the aerial faith plate.
    64. Grab the cube and step onto the aerial faith plate. You’ll land safely on the catwalk.
    65. Now take the cube around the corner and drop it down into the pit while staying on the catwalk.
    66. Walk back around the emancipation grid while staying on the catwalk, fire an orange portal at the portal-friendly piece of wall on the opposite side of the bit. This will create a light bridge that will block the turrets from shooting you.
    67. Walk back around the emancipation grid and drop down into the pit. Grab the cube and set it on the red button.
    68. Now, don’t pass through the grid but instead walk back to the area beneath the catwalk you just jumped off of.
    69. There’s a portal-friendly piece of wall on ground level and another one up on the catwalk. Portal back up to the catwalk and walk around the emancipation grid again. Now you can exit the chamber.
    70. In the next test chamber, look between the aerial faith plate and the angled piece of wall to find the flat, portal-friendly piece of ground.
    71. Put a blue portal on that patch of ground.
    72. Put an orange portal on the piece of ground that the blue beam is striking.
    73. Now step into the blue beam and let it carry you to the ceiling.
    74. When you reach the ceiling shoot an orange portal at that angled piece of wall below you.
    75. You’ll fall into through the blue portal and go flying to a platform with a cube on it. Grab the cube and hop back down.
    76. Locate the laser and set the cube up so that it obstructs the path of the laser. This will shut off the blue beam.
    77. Now portal your way back to the high ground. Look back into the pit where your cube is blocking the laser. To the left is an angled piece of portal-friendly wall. Hit it with a blue portal.
    78. Now go back to the aerial faith plate. Across from the plate is an angled panel with a green circle on it. Hit that with an orange portal.
    79. Now step on the faith plate. You’ll fly right to the redirect cube. Grab the redirect cube.
    80. Take the cube back to the laser and use it to make the laser shoot at the portal-friendly wall, don’t put a portal in front of the laser just yet.
    81. First, grab the regular cube (not the redirect one) and portal back to high ground.
    82. Put the cube on the patch portal-friendly patch of ground beneath the red button on the ceiling.
    83. Now put an orange portal on the wall where the laser hits it. Put a blue portal directly across from the laser target (if you can’t find it look for the yellow dotted line).
    84. The laser should strike the target, if it doesn’t, you may need to adjust the redirect cube.
    85. Once the laser is striking a target, platform should lower. Step onto the platform.
    86. Now shoot a blue portal beneath the redirect cube. This should both raise the platform you are standing on and reactivate the blue beam.
    87. Shoot an orange portal onto the piece of ground that the blue beam is striking, then shoot a blue portal beneath your cube.
    88. When the cube floats up to the red button, a second platform will lower. Jump onto that platform.
    89. Now shoot a blue portal anywhere to make the cube fall off of the red button. The platform you are on will raise straight to the exit.
    90. Look across the divide in the next test chamber. You’ll see two laser targets. Use portals to redirect the laser at the lower target.
    91. The platform across from you will begin moving. When it gets beneath the cube chute, fire a blue laser on the portal friendly wall that is above and to the left of the platform. This will stop the platform from moving.
    92. Now fire an orange portal at the wall behind you and jump through, onto the platform.
    93. From the platform, use portals to redirect the laser so that it strikes the lower target. The platform will begin moving again.
    94. Stay as far from the lasers as you can and when half of the platform is through the lasers, fire a blue portal at any portal-friendly surface. This will stop the platform again.
    95. Now redirect the laser so that it strikes the higher target. The lasers that were blocking your way will turn off.
    96. Move to the far side of the platform, on the other side of the lasers.
    97. Redirect the laser at the low target again to start the platform moving.
    98. Hop off of the platform when it gets to the red podium button. Stand next to the button.
    99. When the platform once again moves under the cube cute, fire a blue portal at any portal-friendly surface to stop the platform.
    100. Now press the red button, a redirect cube will fall onto the platform.
    101. Shoot a blue portal through the lasers and above the platform, then stick an orange one on the wall next to you.
    102. Jump back onto the platform with the redirect cube.
    103. Move the platform through the lasers the same way you did before and when you reach the other side of the lasers, stop the platform.
    104. Now put a blue portal on the wall above and slightly to the left of the exit door.
    105. Put an orange portal on the wall where the laser is striking.
    106. The laser will shoot toward you, use the redirect cube to aim it at to target to the upper right of the exit door.
    107. Now leave the cube there and jump off the moving platform to the area with the red podium button. From here you can portal your way back to the side of the room with the exit door.
    108. Once you get there, reset the portals so that the laser is once again striking the target and go through the exit door.
    109. After a brief elevator ride you’ll walk to the edge of a catwalk and a blue beam will appear below you, jump into it.
    110. The beam will shut off and you’ll find yourself in a computer room, make your way through the room and out to the broken catwalk.
    111. Drop down through the missing segment of catwalk and you’ll land on another one.
    112. Make your way through down this catwalk and drop down into a room with an exit door.
    113. In the next test chamber, locate the red podium button. Now make a 180 degree turn. There is a portal-friendly surface near the top of the wall you are now looking at. Put a blue portal on that.
    114. Go stand on the red button that is on the ground. This will activate the blue beam.
    115. Now put an orange portal on the piece of ceiling that the blue beam is hitting.
    116. Press the red podium button. A cube will fall into your beam and get pressed against the wall.
    117. Put a blue portal on the wall beneath the spot where the cube is hitting it. The cube will fall into the new blue beam you created and float right to you.
    118. Now locate the red button on the ground behind the glass. There’s a hole in the glass, so you can portal your way in there and drop the red cube on the button. This will start the red goo flowing.
    119. Hop back outside the glass and go stand on the red button again.
    120. Put a blue portal on the ceiling where the blue beam hits it.
    121. Now put an orange portal on the wall next to the dotted yellow line. The goo will flow into the blue beam.
    122. When the goo gets over the ramp, step off of the blue button and the goo will cover the runway and the ramp. You may need to repeat this a few times to make sure everything is covered in red goo.
    123. Now grab the cube from behind the glass and set it on the button that activates the blue beam.
    124. Launch yourself off the ramp and into the blue beam. You’ll float to a catwalk.
    125. Step onto the catwalk and walk through the emancipation grid.
    126. Put a blue portal on the wall nearest you and an orange portal on any portal-friendly surface back by the ramp.
    127. Warp back by the ramp and put an orange portal on the ceiling where the blue beam hits it. You’ll create a blue beam that goes right to the exit.
    128. Now back up to the end of the runway and launch yourself off the ramp. You’ll land in the beam and float to the exit.
    129. A beam will break through the next section of passageway that you’re walking through.
    130. Wait for the white goo to appear and then use that to portal your way across the divide.
    131. In the next room look across the divide and locate the red podium button. Portal your way over there.
    132. Now put an orange portal on the wall that the blue beam is striking.
    133. Look toward the emancipation grid and do a 180. Now but a blue portal on the wall you are facing.
    134. Press the red podium button and blue goo will fall into the blue beam.
    135. Shoot a blue portal anywhere to cut the blue beam off just as the goo starts flowing. You want to get some on the platform you are standing on, just past the grates.
    136. Now set the portals up the same way you just did to move the goo. A blue portal on the wall the beam is striking and an orange one on the wall opposite the platform where you started.
    137. Press the red button again, to send some goo into the blue beam. Then quickly bounce on the blue spot you created earlier and jump into the beam just ahead of the goo.
    138. You’ll float back to the other side, when you get there, hop out of the beam and step on the red button.
    139. The beam will turn orange and reverse, pulling the goo back toward your orange portal.
    140. Look through the glass toward the turrets behind the glass.
    141. When all the goo has floated through the orange portal and come out of the blue one, step off the button. The beam will reverse again.
    142. Now fire an orange portal on the portal-friendly wall to the upper left of the turrets. This will cause blue goo to float over the turrets.
    143. When the goo is over them, fire a blue portal anywhere to cut off the blue beam.
    144. The goo will fall onto the turrets and they’ll all bounce to their doom.
    145. Run around the glass and press the red podium button.
    146. An angled panel will appear on the wall past the glass.
    147. Fire a blue portal onto the spot where the blue beam hits the wall then fire an orange portal into a portal-friendly section of floor.
    148. Float up to the ceiling and then fire a blue portal into the angled panel that you created with the red button.
    149. You’ll go flying through the air, bounce off of a blue spot and land right at the exit. Get in the elevator.
    150. In the next chamber step on the aerial faith plate and you’ll be catapulted sideways, off a couple more plates and into a blue beam.

    Portal 2 Walkthrough

    Chapter 9: The Part Where He Kills You

    1. You’ve fallen into Wheatley’s trap, but don’t worry, some white goo will appear and you can portal your way to safety.
    2. Shoot a blue portal at the goo that hits the platform you’re standing on.
    3. Fire an orange portal at the place where the white goo has struck the catwalk.
    4. Now run along the catwalk and through the door and emancipation grid.
    5. Keep following the catwalk to the place where it ends abruptly. Look down.
    6. There’s a portal-friendly piece of material down there. Put a blue portal on it.
    7. Look up and to the right. You’ll find a place where you can put an orange portal.
    8. Now jump into the blue portal.
    9. Follow the catwalk until the giant panel tries to crush you.
    10. Put a blue portal on the upper left part of the wall, past the gap in the catwalk.
    11. Now backtrack a little and find a portal-friendly wall to stick an orange portal on. Jump through.
    12. Pass through the emancipation grid and you’ll get a loading screen.
    13. Follow the catwalk until it gets blocked. Put a blue portal on the wall blocking your path.
    14. Look up, you can fire an orange portal through the grate and onto the ceiling.
    15. Jump through the blue portal.
    16. You’ll wind up in a room with a bunch of defective turrets. Find the exit and keep moving.
    17. Jump down to the lower catwalk and pass through the door and emancipation grid.
    18. When you see the targeting lasers of the turrets, stop and use the blue beam to get rid of the turrets.
    19. Just put a blue portal on the spot the blue beam is striking then throw an orange one behind the various turrets.
    20. When you’re done with that, set up a portal so that the blue beam shoots between the gap in the wall (the same wall where you sent the turrets.)
    21. Hop in the blue beam and float through the gap.
    22. Wheatley will try to kill you with a trap in the wall. Stay calm, look down and jump out of the beam as soon as you’re over the catwalk.
    23. Move through the emancipation grid.
    24. In the next room put a blue portal on the floor where the blue beam is striking. Then put an orange portal on the wall opposite the circular door.
    25. Float out of the door in the blue beam and Wheatley will try to crush you with a spiked panel.
    26. Look straight ahead and down slightly. There’s a portal friendly piece of wall. Hit it with an orange portal.
    27. You’ll fall into the new blue beam you just created and begin moving the opposite direction.
    28. Get on the catwalk and follow it through another door and emancipation grid.
    29. A section of catwalk will get taken out by a falling pipe but some blue goo will form a trampoline so you can bounce across.
    30. You’ll round a corner and see a bunch of red targeting lasers from turrets.
    31. Look at the place where the lasers hit the wall then look up. You’ll see a portal-friendly piece of ceiling just beyond some glass. Hit that with a blue portal.
    32. Now back up and find a portal-friendly wall and hit that with an orange portal.
    33. Jump through and you’ll find yourself standing near a red button. It starts the blue goo dispenser flowing.
    34. Put a blue portal underneath the blue goo dispenser.
    35. Now shoot orange portals at the wall directly to the right of where the turrets are.
    36. Now when you step on the red button, you’ll lob some blue goo at the turrets. Keep moving your orange portal and use trial and error to eliminate all the turrets.
    37. Now locate the angled panel hanging from a robotic arm in the ceiling, hit it with a portal and get over there.
    38. Step on the aerial faith plate and you’ll land on the catwalk.
    39. Hang a left and head through the door and emancipation grid.
    40. You’ll pass through an emancipation grid and into a room with a red button. Press the button.
    41. Now look out of the glass past the button. You’ll see a tube spit some bombs onto the ground.
    42. The glass is broken in the bottom left corner and you can shoot a blue portal onto the spot you just saw the bombs hit.
    43. Now locate the tube that’s carrying white goo in the room you’re standing in.
    44. Put an orange portal on the portal-friendly wall facing the tube (look up).
    45. Press the red button and the bombs will blow up the tube. White goo will splatter on the floor and allow you to portal out.
    46. Pass through the computer room, then through the door and emancipation grid.
    47. Head down to the conveyor belt then cross it to the platform with the red button. Push the red button. You’ll see more bombs falling.
    48. Shoot a blue portal at the floor where the bombs struck, then turn left and fire an orange beneath the tube carrying orange goo.
    49. Press the red button again. The tube will shatter and red goo will start spilling onto a spot on the floor. Hit that spot with a blue portal.
    50. Now hit the spot at the very end of the conveyor belt with an orange portal. The conveyor belt will get covered in goo and you can run right to the end of it. Do this and jump right through the portal at the end.
    51. Find your way down a corridor and into the next room.
    52. In the next room, locate the portal-friendly patch of floor. There’s a blue beam directly above it.
    53. Now locate the corridor you came in through. There’s a portal friendly patch of wall at the end of it. Shoot a blue portal at this wall.
    54. If you left your orange portal beneath the orange goo you should have just created a nice runway for yourself.
    55. Now put an orange portal on the portal-friendly piece of floor.
    56. Run down the runway and into the blue portal you put at the end of the corridor.
    57. You’ll come shooting out of the orange portal and into the blue beam which will carry you to another catwalk. Jump down onto the catwalk and follow it through a door and emancipation grid.
    58. Now look up and fire a blue portal through the grate and onto a portal friendly wall. Get up there.
    59. After a loading screen, look up and locate a portal friendly piece of ceiling. Hit it with a blue portal.
    60. Shoot a blue portal on the ground and hop through.
    61. Follow the catwalk and take a right when you hit the defective cores.
    62. Now find the white Aperture box with the jack in it and plug GLaDOS in. Get ready for the final showdown with Wheatley.
    63. Wheatley’s first move is to throw bombs at you. Stand in front of the white gel tube and then move when he attacks so that he blows up the gel tube.
    64. Now you can trick him into shooting bombs at himself. Put a blue portal on the ground just behind you and an orange portal on one of the panels. Then move when he shoots bombs at you.
    65. The bombs should go into the blue portal, come out the orange one you stuck on a panel and strike him.
    66. Watch where he’s holding his shields, if they are in front find a panel behind him, put a portal on it and then trick him into shooting himself.
    67. If he has no protection below him, try putting a portal on the ground so that bombs come shooting up at him.
    68. Once you’ve hit him with a bomb, he’ll be incapacitated for a minute and GLaDOS will throw you a defective core.
    69. The first one will be up on the catwalk.
    70. Locate the white goo panel just above the catwalk and portal up there.
    71. Grab the core and some blue goo will spill on the floor. Bounce up to the blinking red light on Wheatley and push the core at the light.
    72. He’ll wake back up and you’ll need to hit him with more bombs.
    73. When you hit him this time a second defective core will begin swinging back and forth over a blue patch of goo.
    74. Portal back up to the catwalk, bounce on the goo and catch the second core.
    75. Locate the blinking red light on Wheatley, then bounce off a blue patch and push the second core in.
    76. Hit Wheatley with some more bombs and the last core will appear along with some red goo. Locate the red goo first and the core will be swinging over it.
    77. The red goo will form a runway leading to a white goo-covered wall. Put a blue portal on that wall.
    78. Now put an orange portal on the ground directly below the last core.
    79. Back up to the end of the runway and run into the blue portal. You’ll come flying out and be able to grab the last core.
    80. Bounce off a blue patch and push the core at the last blinking light.
    81. Now you’ll have to push the “stalemate resolution button” again.
    82. It’s behind a grate this time. Fire a blue portal into the ceiling beyond the grate and get in there.
    83. That’s it. Enjoy the cut scene and shoot for the moon when you get the chance.
