The game can be downloaded from the App Store and once installed can be found on your device’s home screen. Start playing the game by tapping on the “Mafia Wars Shakedown’ icon. You have to provide a username that other players of the game can see. Make sure that the name you choose is appropriate so be creative in selecting one that suits you.

At the start, you will be taken to the game’s main menu wherein there are numerous different options. You have the freedom to “Do Jobs” to earn cash for items and additional XP. Being a mafia, you can “Steal from Friends” or you can add friends who also like playing “Mafia Wars Shakedown”. The “Do Jobs” will take you to the Bronx where you will learn that Fat Tony is the boss. “Snatch Some Bling” is the foremost job that you can complete. You will be able to receive loot from a job that is completed. You will also receive cash and XP for completing jobs. For some good loot, you should take your chances to try stealing rare gems. To be able to start it, you need to go back to the main menu to choose the “Steal Rare Gems” option. In order to protect it, use the Results Screen to plant bombs to injure players who will take a shot of stealing it. To protect the gem and place a bomb, just tap on the “Place Bomb’ button.

In the game, there are bosses who control certain areas. Fat Tony is one of them, and he controls the Bronx. You have to be proficient with the jobs within the area to be able to fight a boss. Do the job repeatedly to be good at it and mastery comes when the progress bar is full. This should be done with all jobs in the area to have a fight with the boss.

When all jobs in the area are mastered, the boss will ultimately be unlocked. To start the fight with him, tap “Battle”. To see how your opponent is doing in the fight, check the boss’ health bar at the top of the screen. At the lower left corner is your health bar which you should watch out.
