Solara Walkthrough [Guide]

Solara is a game filled with colorful characters and several heinous bandits and beasts, and how you will be able to build your kingdom amidst all of these elements is entirely up to you. Players will have the chance to play as different characters as they complete various challenges for the glory of the kingdom, and they will be meeting new allies and several fantastic creatures along the way. It’s a matter of being able to properly develop and train your party in order to successfully complete quests, and building up your kingdom by establishing stores and other improvements are also key in making the most out of this RPG slash building simulation game.

Gameplay
Solara is a game where players must complete quests by building a team and facing off against different types of enemies and helping build up your kingdom. Managing resources such as party members as well as currencies earned through stores is important, as each feeds the other, and enhancing both of these aspects is integral as challenges and requirements increase as the game goes on. There is also a multiplayer function that allows players to pit their team against others from all over the world.

Currency
Coins are the main currency within the world of Solara. Primarily, coins are earned via profits collected from shops, and coins are also awarded once quests have been completed. Coins are used to purchase structures and enhancements to your kingdom, and these can also be used to upgrade allies’ abilities at later stages.

Espers, on the other hand, are the premium currencies of the game. These can be used to speed up building tasks, as well as purchase special shops that can provide for some great advantages, especially for building up your coin reserves. Espers are much harder to come by than coins, so conserving them and using them only when needed is a must.

Like most freemium games, both coins and Espers may also be acquired via in-app purchases.

Food
Food serves as another type of currency, and it acts like energy which is used when fighting. Food is also used to train your party members while they are still at lower levels. Food is replenished over time, but Espers may also be spent to refill this instantly. Additional food may also be collected from special shops, and its capacity also increases each time players level up.

Leveling Up
Going on quests will earn players experience points, which will in turn allow players to level up. Leveling up will complete fill the food meter and increase its maximum capacity, allowing you to participate in more fights. Leveling up will also unlock more shops to build in the store, as well as unlock the Arena Mode where you can do battle with other players.

Building
Shops and taverns are structures that you can build within your kingdom. Each structure requires coins or espers to purchase, and it will take some time for construction to complete, although you can also use espers to complete them instantly. Most structures will earn players coins that they will have to manually collect, while some have the additional function of increasing food capacity as well as provide you with extra food over time.

Shops and other structures will take up space in your kingdom, so building new levels is also a must. There are also other enhancements available for your kingdom, but most of these are aesthetic in nature. The more shops that you build, the more busy your empire will get, and the more visitors will be coming to your land.

Allies
When going into fights, players will need allies. Like most RPGs, each party member belongs to a certain class, and knowing how to combine them within your party is integral to success. All characters also have abilities such as attack, defense, as well as other abilities such as healing, inflicting poison, increasing the attack of party members, and many more, and these can be upgraded by training them using either food or coins.

Allies are unlocked once certain quests have been completed, and players can mix and match their team depending on their liking and strategy. While leveling up will allow players to have more members in their team, some quests will require players to bring along specific characters that cannot be removed from the current party, so they will have to make sure that this particular member is properly leveled up as well.

Fighting
Combat within Solera is pretty much automated. Players may choose to watch the fight or skip it in order to automatically see results. When doing battles, especially against numerous or more powerful enemies, it is recommended that players bring along a healer, as well as allies that are leveled up at or one level below the maximum limit. Allies cannot be leveled up higher than the kingdom’s level.

Quests
Quests require players either to build shops, complete battles, or fight others in Multiplayer mode. Some quests may also require players to perform multiple tasks such as winning more than one battle or building two or more shops. It is important to complete quests as this will push the story forward, and it will also reward players with lots of coins and experience, with the former oftentimes much larger in quantity than what you can get from shops. It would also be prudent to prioritize resources such as coins and food towards the completion of these quests before anything else.

Multiplayer
Once players reach level 12, Arena Mode will open up, which is basically a PvP function where players can pit their team against other players. Battle commences in the same way as in quest battles, and the player will have his ranking rise or drop depending on the outcome of the battle. Players will be able to see their rank in the leaderboard so that they will know how high they stand among others who are also playing the game. Like other battles, players will also need to spend Food in order to be able to fight in Arena Mode.
