HISTORICAL OBJECTIVE:
1. Win the match in under 6 minutes
Just damage Big John Studd as much as possible until his damage is at Critical.
The little hint box in the upper lefthand corner of the screen keeps track of
the damage level of your opponents whenever it is relevant to the objectives
in the match.
Bobby Heenan will be managing Big John Studd in this match, but he hardly has
any effect on anything. He can distract the referee, but since this is a Body
Slam Challenge, there is no real point to the ref.
When Studd’s damage is at critical, press A to grapple him. Then press A again
to perform the body slam.

HULK HOGAN VS. KING KONG BUNDY
==============================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by escaping the cage
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Body Slam Bundy (Critical)
2. Escape over the cage wall
The goal here is to get King Kong Bundy to Critical before winning the match.
Yet again Bobby Heenan is prowling around the outside of the ring as a manager,
but he is, yet again, not really a factor in this match.
At any rate, throw Bundy into the cage wall and the like to really do damage
to him. To throw opponents into the cage, hold B for a strong Irish Whip and
aim them in the direction of the cage.
Once Bundy has been sufficiently beat up, it’s time to escape. Approach the
cage and then tap LB while pointing the left stick in the direction of the
cage. To climb the cage, wait for the meter to be as full as possible and try
to press A when it is at its fullest. This will cause Hogan to climb faster.

RICKY STEAMBOAT VS. MACHO MAN

MATCH STIPULATION:

HISTORICAL OBJECTIVEs:
1. Complete the WrestleMania Moment
2. Get Randy Savage to Critical Damage
3. Win with a Leverage Pin (RS on Stunned OPP.)
WrestleMania Moments, as you are likely to discover, can be pretty annoying.
You just have to keep fighting Savage until the WrestleMania Moment pops up.
When it does, the camera wil shift and buttons will pop up on the screen,
signaling a QTE. Hit the button that is highlighted to successfully perform
the QTE.
When that’s done with, just focus on doing a lot of damage to Savage. When
he reaches Critical, get him stunned. The easiest way to engage a stunned
opponent is to knock them on the ground and then get close to them. Flick
the right analog stick to pick them up. Then flick the right stick again
either up or down to perform a leverage pin.

HULK HOGAN VS. ANDRE THE GIANT

MATCH STIPULATION:

HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Grapple Andre (Light) by the ring steps
2. Irish Whip Andre (Critical) in the ring
3. Complete the WrestleMania Moment
4. Hit a Leg Drop on Andre
First damage Andre until his condition is “Light” damage. Then take the fight
outside. Throw Andre to the outside or just have him chase you outside to
initiate this. Go near the ring steps and grapple Andre to initiate a
cut-scene.
Go back inside the ring and continue the match. Keep beating up on Andre until
his damage rating is at Critical. Then Irish Whip him. This will also cause
the WrestleMania Moment QTEs to pop up, so be ready for those. When all is
said and done, it’s time to hit the Leg Drop on Andre. Build up Hogan’s
Finisher then approach Andre’s head and tap Y to land the move.

This match is more straight-forward than the last few. Basically just beat up
on Ted until he is at Moderate damage. Then grapple him while he is in the
ring and at Moderate. Then build up Savage’s Finisher and perform it.

HULK HOGAN VS. RANDY SAVAGE

MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Get Randy Savage to Critical damage
2. Kick out after taking a Top Rope Elbow
3. Hit Randy Savage with the Leg Drop
4. Win by Pinfall
The first thing on the agenda is just beating up Randy and getting his
damage to Critical. This will initiate Savage having his Signature. Let him
use it on you, then he will automatically go to the top ropes and perform his
finishing move. Do not try to reverse it. Let him hit it and then kick out
when he inevitably tries to pin you.
To kick out of a pin, hold in the A button. Wait for the meter to touch the
red line in the bar and then release to kick out. After kicking out, just
continue the match until you win, but be sure to hit Savage with a Leg Drop
finisher before putting him away with a pin.

THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR VS. HULK HOGAN

MATCH STIPULATION:

HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Irish Whip Hogan (Light) in the ring
2. Complete the 1st WrestleMania Moment
3. Hit a Gorilla Press & Pin Hogan in 10 seconds
4. Complete the 2nd WrestleMania moment
5. Hit an Ultimate Splash & Pin Hogan in 10 seconds
Damage Hogan and when he is at Light, Irish Whip him in the ring. Then just
keep on him until the WrestleMania moment pops up. Do not save your Signature
or Finisher because you will need to use your Signature to complete an
upcoming objective.
Use them as soon as you get them so that you can start building up your
Signature again for when you actually need it. When the WrestleMania Moment
finally happens, perform your Signature on Hogan and then immediately try to
pin him. This will cause the 2nd WrestleMania Moment to happen automatically,
so be sure to complete it.
After that, it’s just a matter of nailing Warrior’s Finisher and pinning
Hogan. Those unfamiliar with Warrior’s Finisher may have trouble with this,
but basically get an opponent on their stomach on the ground. If they are on
their back, simply flick RS to the side and Warrior will flip them over onto
their stomach so that you can perform the Finisher. Warrior’s Signature, the
Gorilla Press Slam, sets his opponents up perfectly for the Finisher.

The most straight-forward match so far. Just defeat Sarge and be sure to
hit Hogan’s Signature and Finisher before pinning him.

RANDY SAVAGE VS. RIC FLAIR

MATCH STIPULATION:

HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Hit Savage’s Finisher Elbow Drop & Pin Flair in 10 seconds
2. Escape the Figure Four Leg Lock
3. Win with a Leverage Pin (RS on Stunned OPP.)
As soon as you hit the Elbow Drop for the first time, press B to try to pin
Flair immediately. This will start a cut-scene that will end with Flair having
his Finisher. Don’t counter when Flair tries to apply the Figure Four Leglock.
Let him hold it in and then either button mash to escape or press LB to
escape automatically (assuming you haven’t already use your allotted one
automatic submission escape from earlier).
After that, just win with a leverage pin just like how Steamboat beat
Savage in the WrestleMania III match from earlier.

YOKOZUNA VS. BRET “HIT MAN” HART

MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
2. Defeat Yokozuna via Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Hit a Super Kick (A on Stunned Opp.)
2. Irish Whip Bret Hart (Moderate) in the ring
3. Win by Pinfall
4. Hit the Leg Drop on Yokozuna
5. Defeat Yokozuna via Pinfall
In this match, the control will actually shift to Hulk Hogan after a bit. That
being said, you start as Yokozuna against Bret Hart. The first objective is
to hit Bret with a Superkick. Daze him and tap A to do this. Yokozuna can do
his Superkick in other ways as well, but this is the only one that will
satisfy the objective requirement.
Now continue to damage Bret until he has Moderate damage. After this, Irish
Whip him. A cut-scene will play. Pin Bret immediately after the cut-scene to
defeat him automatically.
Control then shifts to Hulk Hogan. Hit Hulk’s Finisher on Yokozuna and pin him
for a very easy victory.

RAZOR ROMAN VS. SHAWN MICHAELS

MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by obtaining Titles
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Get HBK to Moderate damage in the ring
2. Get HBK to Critical damage in the ring
3. Attack HBK with the Ladder
4. Irish Whip HBK into a Ladder propped in the ring corner
Getting HBK to Moderate and Critical damage in the ring will both trigger
small scenes that recreate what actually happened during the match at
WrestleMania X. The third objective can be done at any point in the match. Just
pick up the ladder with LB and smack HBK with it to satisfy that requirement.
To lean a ladder in a corner, bring a ladder into the ring and then approach
any corner. Press B on Xbox 360 or Circle on PS3 to lean the ladder there.
Then grab HBK and throw him into the ladder.
To end the match, set up the ladder in the middle of the ring by pressing
LB/L1 when in the center of the ring, under the shadow of the titles on the
mat. Climb the ladder with the same button and then push the right stick up to
grab onto the titles. Pull it back down to yank it down once that icon appears
on the screen.

MATCH STIPULATION:

HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Get Yokozuna to Critical damage
2. Perform a Top Rope move on a standing Yokozuna in the ring
3. Pin Yokozuna in 10 seconds
To begin with, just beat the hell out of Yokozuna. When he’s at Critical, go
to the top ropes and wait for him to stand up. Try to attack him with a top
rope move and a scene will play. IMMEDIATELY after this scene is over, rush to
Yokozuna and press B to pin him.

THE UNDERTAKER VS. KING KONG BUNDY

MATCH STIPULATION:

Old School is Undertaker’s basic Signature Move. Get the Signature Move up and
then press Y/Triangle on Bundy in the ring to perform the move. In order to
Body Slam Bundy, just grapple and then press the grapple button again like
always, except he will have to be badly damaged in order for Undertaker to be
able to pick him up.
UNLOCK: Million Dollar Championship, Ted DiBiase “Million Dollar Man”
(WrestleMania 11), Paul Bearer (WrestleMania 11, 12, 14)

DIESEL VS. SHAWN MICHAELS
=========================
MATCH STIPULATION:
Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Hit HBK with a Big Boot
2. Get HBK to Critical damage
3. Hit HBK with a Jackknife Powerbomb Finisher
4. Pin HBK in 10 seconds & win
An easy way to get the Big Boot out of the way is to throw HBK into a
corner. When HBK is in the corner, run at him and then hold the strike button
in and Diesel should perform the Big Boot. Then just keep beating up on HBK
until he’s at Critical. After that, hit him with the Jackknife and pin him
immediately after landing the move.

THE UNDERTAKER VS. DIESEL
=========================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Hit a Chokeslam on Diesel
2. Hit a Tombstone on Diesel
3. Win by Pinfall
Undertaker’s two different Finishers are the Chokeslam and the Tombstone. To
perform the Chokeslam, move the left stick in any direction when pressing the
Finisher button. To perform the Tombstone, just press the Finisher button
like always without moving the left stick in any directions. You should do the
Tombstone last as you can press B/Circle at the end of the move and Undertaker
will pin Diesel immediately after hitting the move.

SHAWN MICHAELS VS. BRET “HIT MAN” HART
======================================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Earn the most points within the time limit
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Complete the WrestleMania Moment
2. Irish Whip Bret Hart (Moderate) into the ropes
3. Irish Whip Bret Hart (Critical) into a turnbuckle
4. Go in sudden death with the score tied 0-0
5. Hit 2 Finishers on Bret Hart during overtime (Y on Standing Opp.)
Don’t worry; you don’t have to play the full 1 HOUR length of the match. Could
you imagine getting near the very end of the 1 hour and then screwing something
up and having to do the entire match over? Man. That’s the stuff nightmares
are made of.
At any rate, just do the match normally and complete the first QTE. Then
beat on Bret until he is at Moderate damage and throw him into the ropes.
That will cause a scene to play. Then beat up on Bret until he is at Critical
and throw him into the turnbuckles for another scene.
These scenes will also fast forward the time on the match. They will take the
match to the time these events occurred in real life. Just run out the timer
and make sure that you do NOT make Bret submit at all and that you do NOT pin
Bret at all.
When sudden death begins, hit Bret with two Finishers. It will start you off
with two right off the bat, so just perform them in quick succession and pin
Bret.

BRET “HIT MAN” HART VS. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN
===============================================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Get Austin to Light damage outside the ring within 2 minutes
2. Irish Whip Austin (Moderate) into a turnbuckle
3. Use the ring bell on Austin
4. Get Austin’s legs to Critical damage
5. Win with the Sharpshooter
Throw Austin to the outside as soon as the bell rings. You can do more
damage to him out here. Also you might as well hit him with the ring bell
while you’re out here. To get the ring bell, go over to the announce table.
In the corner you can press LB and grab the ring bell. Smack Austin with it to
satisfy the third Historical Objective of the match.
Anyway, you should be able to pretty easily get Austin to Light within 2
minutes. If not, just restart the match. Then continue to beat up on him until
he is at Moderate damage. Focus on his legs though, as that is another
objective later anyway and you might as well kill two birds with one stone. Or
one Austin with two legs? If that makes sense. It probably doesn’t.
To focus on specific body parts, it is prudent to utilize the limb targeting
system. Hold RB when facing a dazed standing opponent or a grounded opponent.
When facing a standing opponent, Y/Triangle will attack their head. A/X will
attack their legs. B/Circle will attack their legs. Attacking the midsection
is done very easily and almost every suplex or grapple does that anyway.
Just focus entirely on Steve’s legs. When he is at Moderate, throw him into
one of the turnbuckles. Then after that scene, continue the attack on Steve’s
legs. Keep the attack going until Steve’s legs are at Critical. Then latch on
the Sharpshooter to end the match.

Just be sure you do all the Finishers as requested. Remember to perform the
Chokeslam as The Undertaker move the left stick in any direction when you
press the Finisher button. To perform a Tombstone, just press the Finisher
button with no influence from the left stick at all.
UNLOCK: Kane (WrestleMania 14), WrestleMania 14 Arena

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN VS. THE ROCK
====================================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Get The Rock to Moderate damage, and lure him to the Entrance
2. Lean The Rock against the Announce Table and Grapple him
3. Perform a Finisher on The Rock & Pin him in 10 seconds (Y on Standing Opp.)
4. Complete the WrestleMania Moment
After you get Rock to Moderate, leave the ring and go to the entrance. Wait for
Rock to follow and then a short scene will play. Afterwards, limp to the
announce table and wait for Rock to get close. Throw Rock into the announce
table and then grapple him for another scene.
The third objective will remain a Hidden Objective for now, but with this
guide, you can see what it is. Ain’t that handy. Build up your finisher and
use it on Rock and then immediately try to pin him. He will kick out
automatically, but this will in turn initiate the QTE WrestleMania moment that
you must complete. Do it and then pin Rock again to win the match.

TRIPLE H VS. THE ROCK VS. THE BIG SHOW VS. MICK FOLEY

MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Complete the Historical Objectives & win
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Eliminate Big Show
2. Grapple The Rock near the Announce Table
3. Eliminate Mick Foley
4. Grapple The Rock (Moderate) near the Ring Steps
5. Grapple The Rock (Critical) near the Announce Table
Focus all your efforts on Big Show. Try to not hit Rock for now because you
need him for something later. Just use all your Signatures and Finishers on
Show until he has been beaten down enough to be eliminated.
Big Show’s elimination will prompt Rock to hop out of the ring and go to the
announce table and taunt. Good, because that’s where you need to be anyway. Go
up to Rock while he’s by the table and grapple him for a scene. Then pick up
Mick Foley, throw him back in the ring, and beat up on him until he can be
pinned and eliminate as well.
With Mick gone, Rock’s damage starts to come into play. Hopefully he is still
at Moderate damage when you get to this point or lower. Go outside and beat
up on The Rock until he is at Moderate if he’s not there already and then bait
him to the ring steps. Stand directly in front of the steps and grapple Rock
when he gets close enough.
After that, beat on Rock some more until he is at Critical. Go back to the
announce table and stand directly in front of that. Grapple him when he gets
close again. Now finish the match in any manner that you wish.

Rock (WrestleMania 16), Mick Foley (WrestleMania 22), WrestleMania 16 Arena

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN VS. THE ROCK
====================================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Attack Rock with the ring bell at ringside
2. Irish Whip The Rock (Moderate) in the ring
3. Rock Bottom The Rock
4. Knock down The Rock, then pick up a chair in the ring
5. Win by Pinfall
Go outside right off the bat and retrieve the ring bell. Smash it on Rock and
then continue to beat him up until he is at Moderate damage level. When
that is accomplished, return to the ring and Irish Whip Rock for a scene.
This scene will culminate in Steve automatically performing the Rock Bottom on
Rock so you don’t have to worry about stealing Finishers or anything like
that.
Mr. McMahon will throw a chair into the ring for you, but it is faster if
you retrieve your own. Knock The Rock down (not with a chair, leave the chairs
on the mat), and when he’s down, THEN pick up a chair. This will result in
yet ANOTHER scene. Get through it and then defeat The Rock by pinning him.

approach his legs. Hold in the grapple button to latch on a Figure Four. Then
continue to beat on Jericho until he is at Moderate. Go to the front of the
announce table and bait Y2J over there. Grapple him near there for a scene.
The third objective is hidden, but all it is is hit a Pedigree and then pin in
10 seconds, so just get Jericho back in the ring, hit a Pedigree away from
the ropes, and then pin him as soon as the move lands.

This version of The Undertaker has Chokeslam and Last Ride as his Signature
moves. Perform the Chokeslam without pressing anything along with the finisher
button and perform the Last Ride by moving the left stick in any direction
when pressing the Finisher button.
To perform Undertaker’s OMG Dive, first build up a Finisher. Then grapple
Batista and pull in both triggers simultaneously. After that, drag Batista to
the ropes ane when you get close enough, Undertaker will automatically set
Undertaker up against the ropes. Then the OMG moment will be possible. Press
the button to perform the move. Then it’s just a matter of getting Batista
back in the ring and pinning him after a Tombstone. Remember that you can go
into a pin immediately at the end of the Tombstone move.

Shawn’s Superkick move is when you just perform a Finisher to a standing
opponent, whereas Sweet Chin Music is technically Shawn’s corner finisher.
However, the Sweet Chin Music will satisfy the Superkick requirements. That
being said, performing regular Superkicks will not satisfy the Sweet Chin
Music requirement.

located. Hit Triple H with it and honestly just go crazy with it to damage
both Cena and HHH as much as possible. Use your Signature to both a downed
Cena and a downed Trips.
A WrestleMania moment will pop up eventually, so complete it. Then work on
building up your Finisher and using it on them over and over again. Orton’s
corner Finisher is the Punt, which is the one that needs to be used to get
100% in this match.

Then work on Edge and use a Five Knuckle Shuffle on him. Then return your
attention to Big Show and perform three standing grapples to him right in a
row to trigger a scene. Afterwards, beat up on Big Show again until he is at
Critical then perform an AA. Be sure to end the match by pinning Big Show, and
there is actually a scene that plays right after the AA to a Critically
damaged Big Show that basically guarantees your victory.

pressing any button on the d-pad while you are standing inside the ring.
Perform a Liontamer on Edge (Walls of Jericho) and then work up another
Finisher and use the Codebreaker and pin Edge within 10 seconds of using it to
win the match.

Tombstone Piledriver on the outside to check that off the list. However, if
you get Shawn to Moderate damage before being able to use the Tombstone, head
to the announce table and grapple him in front of it immediately before you
lose your chance to do that.
Then work on HBK in the ring until he is at Critical. Save any Finishers you
build up. Then perform the Tombstone and you MUST initiate the pin for it at
the end of the move to satisfy that Historical Objective requirement.

The most irritating part of this will probably be the Outside Dive. Edge does a
flip out of the ring, which is harder to land than the typical dives of
other superstars. I found that it is possible to cheat this by leaning
against the ropes when Del Rio is outside and press the strike button. This
will make Edge perform a flying crossbody, which is definitely not the
real-life WrestleMania moment they’re trying to recreate, but whatever.
Perform the wake-up taunt in the ring by holding RB and pressing “up” on the
d-pad. Then hit a Spear on Del Rio and pin him.

4. Defeat Jericho with the Anaconda Vise
The Top Rope Elbow will simply not be possible at the outset of the match
despite it being the first thing on the list. So worry about beating up on
Jericho and doing the GTS to him. When Jericho has his Signature built up,
let him put the Walls of Jericho on Punk so that you can either get a rope
break or button mash your way out of the Breaking Point submission situation
to satisfy that requirement.
When Jericho is significantly damaged, get a Signature built up as Punk and
get Jericho on the ground on the outside. Easiest way to do this is to throw
Jericho to the ring apron then performing a running strike on him to knock
him to the ground below. Climb to the top ropes and land the move.
Then get Jericho back in the ring. Build up yet ANOTHER finisher and perform
CM Punk’s submission Finisher, which is done by approaching the head of a
downed opponent and pressing the Finisher button. Force Y2J to tap out to win
the match.

MATCH STIPULATION:

4. Hit 2 Tombstone Piledrivers on CM Punk

Performing the Apron Leg Drop is actually quite easy. Throw Punk outside of
the ring, and then throw him back into the ring. This will set him up with his
head sticking out from underneath the bottom rope, on the apron. Grapple his
head here and Undertaker will land the move.
Then it’s just a matter of putting Punk away by beating the hell out of him
and hitting the Finishing moves as spelled out by the in-game text.

TRIPLE H VS. BROCK LESNAR
=========================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Get Lesnar to Critical damage
2. Hit Lesnar with a chair
3. Steal and use the Kimura Lock on Lesnar
4. Win by Pinfall
This match is a little tricky. After you get Lesnar to Critical damage and
it tells you to use a chair, do nothing. Let Lesnar throw you out of the
ring. The reason this is necessary is because Lesnar will simply counter every
single thing you try to do to him automatically until he is able to
successfully toss you out of the ring so that another scene can play out.
When the scene is over, grab a chair and smack Lesnar with it. Then build up a
Finisher. It’s time to steal Lesnar’s finisher. To do this, with a STORED
Finisher, approach the head of a downed Lesnar. Hold RB and then press up on
the d-pad.
This will cause Lesnar to get to his feet. Then just press Y (do not keep
holding RB) while ALSO moving the left stick in a direction as the Kimura
Lock is Lesnar’s secondary Finisher. Just pressing Y will cause Triple H to
steal the F5 instead of the Kimura Lock.
Do not let Lesnar tap out to the move. Do as much damage as possible with it,
but if Lesnar gets close to tapping, then relinquish the hold by pressing
LB (L1 on PS3). Finish Lesnar by pinning him in the ring.
UNLOCK: WrestleMania 29 Arena

JOHN CENA VS. THE ROCK
======================
MATCH STIPULATION:
1. Win by Pinfall or Submission
HISTORICAL OBJECTIVES:
1. Escape the Sharpshooter
2. Hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle
3. Hit 2 AA’s
4. Steal and use a Rock Bottom then attempt a pinfall in 10 seconds
5. Hit an AA & win by Pinfall
Have a stress ball ready. Rock is basically WWE Shao Khan. You have been
warned.
Work over Rock as much as possible. Try to hit him with at least one AA and
the Five Knuckle Shuffle before he can build up his Signature. When he does
build up his Signature, he will be obsessed with getting you in the
Sharpshooter, and unfortunately, you HAVE to let him do it in order to satisfy
one of the requirements for this match.
Get out of the Sharpshooter and then hit Rock with all the required Finishers
as outlined above. When that’s done, steal Rock’s Rock Bottom and go for a
pin in 10 seconds after doing that.
A scene will play and then both you and The Rock will have an infinite amount
of Finishers. What’s worse is that Rock will counter just about everything in
this state and he will constantly spam Rock Bottoms.
Flee. Get the hell out of the ring.
Take it outside so that if Rock hits Rock Bottoms it won’t mean losing
necessarily. Do be mindful of the 10 count though. Hit Rock with an AA out
here or two to soften him up and make it less likely that he will counter in
the ring. In the ring, get Rock in the AA and nail it. Be ready for Rock to
counter your attempts probably once or twice even still, but if you manage to
counter the Rock Bottom right after that, you get another shot at the AA yet
again.
Pinning Rock will complete the story mode. If you’ve followed my advice and
strategies, you should unlock two trophies/achievements at this point and
have unlocked everything from 30 Years of WrestleMania mode!

This is the basical Exhibition stuff for WWE 2K14. From these menus, you can
jump into matches against up to three other real life players or against
computer-controlled opponents.

ONE ON ONE
==========
In the One on One option, there are numerous match types available. The
following is a list of those match types and a brief explanation on how to
win at each one.
—>NORMAL<—
Standard wrestling match. Match ends in a variety of ways, most commonly by
pinfall or submission in the ring.
—>EXTREME RULES<—
A normal match in that it ends in the ring, but there are no count outs and
no DQs. In addition, you can press LB/L1 at the center of the ring apron to
retrieve weapons. Fans will also offer weapons from the crowd.
—>HELL IN A CELL<—
A large structure surrounds the ring. The Cell is like a cage match that
doesn’t end if you escape it.
—>I QUIT<—
The only way to win this match is to damage your opponent to the point that
they give up on the match.
—>INFERNO<—
Flames surround the ring. Doing big moves will make the flames rise. The
ultimate goal here is to light your opponent on fire using the flames.
—>IRON MAN<—
A time limit is set, and then the goal is to earn the most falls (pinfalls,
submissions, etc.) within the time limit. The wrestler with the most points
by the time the timer runs out wins. If the score is tied, the match goes
into sudden death overtime.
—>LADDER<—
The goal of a Ladder match is to climb to the top of a ladder and pull down
the championship belts or briefcase that are hanging down. Use the right
stick after climbing to the top of the ladder to start the process of
retrieving these items.
—>LAST MAN STANDING<—
In this match type, the goal is to damage your opponent so badly that they
are unable to stand back up for 10 seconds.
—>STEEL CAGE<—
Steel Cage matches can be won by either climbing over the top of the cage,
exiting through the door, or winning in more traditional ways in the middle
of the ring.
—>SUBMISSION<—
Similar to I Quit, except the goal is to get the opponent to tap out to a
submission hold.
—>TABLE<—
In a Table match, the goal is to throw your opponent through a table. The
announce table does not count for this. The only tables that do count are the
brown tables that can be pulled out from underneath the ring.
—>TLC<—
A ladder match with the added twist of tables and chairs being everywhere as
well.

Tag team matches have long been a professional wrestling tradition. These are
the tag team flavors you have available to you in WWE 2K14.

Regular tag team match. Players can tag in and out with their partners that
are standing on the ring apron.
—>ELIMINATION TAG<—
Same as the tag team match except it isn’t one fall to a finish. Both members
of a team have to be defeated for the match to officially end.
—>MIXED GENDER TAG<—
A woman and man team go against another woman and man team. Only the women can
fight the women and only the men can fight the men. A tag in this match
type will automatically make the same gender of the opposite team member the
legal person in the match.
—>TORNADO TAG<—
Normal tag rules except without the requirement of tagging in and out. Everyone
is legal all the time.

Six wrestlers enter a steel structure called the Elimination Chamber. Two
wrestlers start in the middle of the ring and every few seconds, another
wrestler enters the match. Wrestlers are eliminated by being pinned or
submitting to the other wrestlers. This keeps going until only one wrestler
remains.

HANDICAP
========
In Handicap matches, there is an uneven amount of wrestlers on teams. It could
be One on Two, One on Three, or Two on Three.

Another match type in the Handicap section is the Gauntlet Match. In this
match, one wrestler fights a string of other wrestlers, one at a time. A new
wrestler enters after the previous one is defeated.

—>BACKSTAGE BRAWL<—
Hardcore rules. Involves the backstage areas of arenas, which means a lot of
unique weaponry. These matches often end via KO, though a referee can be
involved.
—>ROYAL RUMBLE<—
30 man Battle Royal, with two wrestlers starting out the match and a new
wrestler entering at scheduled timed intervals. The way opponents are
eliminated is by throwing them over the top rope and having both of their
feet touching the floor on the outside.
—>SLOBBER KNOCKER<—
This is the only match type that is LOCKED in the game. To unlock this match
type, you have to complete The Streak in 30 Years of WrestleMania. What this
is is basically just a ridiculous Gauntlet Match that seemingly goes on
forever to see how many wrestlers you can go through with one wrestler.
—>SPECIAL REFEREE<—
A referee that is a professional wrestler usually is assigned to officiate a
contest between two other wrestlers (or any combination thereof).
—>TITLE MATCH<—
Any match type, except with the added stipulation that a championship title is
up for grabs as well.

place in WWE Universe mode and they also alter other factors in the game.

One of the most useful things in WWE Universe is WWE.com. It is here that you
can view the rankings of the superstars based on their brand as well as
other WWE Universe related statistics.
Superstars are ranked based on the titles. So each title has the title
holder and then the four stars that are in line for contention of that
particular championship.
Raw and SmackDown each have their own Major and Minor titles, but the tag
team titles and the Divas championship are shared between both of the brands in
the game.
These are the default rankings in the game when you start it for the first
time. By playing WWE Universe, you will greatly effect these rankings and help
determine who is holding what title at any given time.

On PS3, this is known as the PlayStation Network. This is the online
multiplayer functionality in the game.
When playing the game online, you are going to need an Online Pass (the code

There are Ranked Matches and Player Matches. You can edit how you want to
search for available matches as well. Typically, you can use created wrestlers
or pre-existing wrestlers at will.
