THE BASICS: HOW TO PLAY NASCAR ’14
==================================
NASCAR ’14 plays like most racing games, but with various twists on the
formula to make it more in line with what the NASCAR television product
represents.

On the bottom of the screen, you will find an indicator that tells you how
close in proximity you are to another car on either your left or right.

On the speedometer, you will find your gas tank. Your gas tank is represented
by the green bar around the speedometer. Please note that this will not appear
in all game modes. To refill your fuel, stop at a pit stop at any point during
the race.

The main game mode in NASCAR 14. Career Mode is where you will probably spend
most of your time playing the game. This is also the menu where you can find
out a bunch of different aspects of the game.

=================
STARTING A CAREER
=================
Before beginning your actual career, you have to do a practice session, which
consists of going around the track for a couple of laps and then pulling in to
pit road.

The game will assess how well you handle each of the different gameplay
mechanics, and it will use this information to add things to make the game
easier for you based on how poorly you do in some areas. All of this can be
adjusted if you do not want these benefits.

After that point, you are free to upgrade your vehicle and crew, and race one
event after another. There are 38 events in a single season, and then you
will be able to start a new season with the same crew and car.
