Mass Effect Andromeda Release Date, Trailer and Features

During the EA press conference at E3 2015, it was announced that the upcoming “Mass Effect 4” will be actually named “Mass Effect: Andromeda”. The new game promises the Mass Effect fans that they will discover a new galaxy.

According to Aaryn Flynn, the general manager of BioWare, the company started to work on this upcoming game since 2013. The upcoming game will offer the players new worlds to explore, intense action and some great characters.

The story that will take place long after the events from the original trilogy and the location will be far away from the places connected to the original trilogy.

According to the developer, the players will be able to play both as male and female, and explore a new galaxy called Andromeda. They will be able to drive the improved Mako, which we’ve already told you several times that it will be released in the upcoming Mass Effect game (so, it has been confirmed that a new Improved Mako will come to the Mass Effect: Andromeda game).

The players will be able to create a new team, allowing them to “work with, learn from, fight alongside and fall in love with”. With other words, the characters from the Mass Effect: Andromeda will be able to have romantic relationships.

It has been confirmed by BioWare that the Mass Effect: Andromeda will run on Forstbite engine, which means that the game can be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. The developer said that it’s focusing all its energies on the current-generation consoles and Windows PC. With other words, there is a high chance that Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It seems that there are more and more upcoming games that will no longer support Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, which means that the gamers will start ditching their old consoles and buy an Xbox One or a PlayStation 4 console.

It is good to know that the development work is being synchronized at three different BioWare Studios: Austin, Montreal and Edmonton. The developers said that they will give us more information some time later this year, because they are not ready to give away too many details right now.
