Potato Mines

At the early levels of Plants vs Zombies 2, there will not be such a big number of zombies. However, as you pass levels, things will get serious and this is the reason why you should start planting the Potato Mines during the early part of a stage.

By doing this, even if by mistake you leave a place unattended, you will hear the Potato Mine exploding and this will get your attention.

Learning how the Zombies are moving

Usually, the patterns that zombies follow don’t change at all during the game’s levels. So, in case you have a good memory, once you replay a level, you will know where the zombies will appear from.

Using a Barricade of Wall-nuts

The wall-nuts are used to protect your most powerful plants, such as Sunflowers, against Zombies, by blocking their path for a short time. Sunflowers are usually planted at the far left side of the screen, which means that there is the place where you will want to plant the Wall-nuts.

At the same time, Wall-nuts can also be used to the right side of the screen at the beginning of a stage.

Spending “virtual” cash

Plants vs. Zombies 2 will give you access to a lot of different upgrades and power-ups that give you special abilities. For example, by using the Plant Food, you will temporarily enhance all your plants’ attack power or abilities.
