Focus On Updating All Structures

It seems that more and more new gamers are doing one of biggest mistakes when they start playing this game for the first time. Instead of upgrading other structures first, to maximize levels, they decide to upgrade the Town Hall. By upgrading the Town Hall you will start getting pretty hard opponents (for your level). In addition, if you are lucky enough to get a weaker opponent while raiding, there is a high chance that the Town Hall of that village is lower than yours. This means, that you will not have access to all the resources that you can get.

Here is the percentage of loot you can get from a village depending on the Town Hall level difference:

– Same or higher level than yours – 100% loot;
– 1 level lower than yours – 90% loot;
– 2 levels lower than yours – 50%;
– 3 levels lower than yours – 25%;
– 4 or more level lower than yours – 5%.

How To Get Free Gems

We suggest you to start removing obstacles from your village such as: rocks, bushes or trees. You will occasionally find some gems, but you should also check the Achievements page, where you will see how much Gems can be given away for completing one Achievement.

Gems And When To Use Them

You should not rush to use the Gems, especially if you’re not planning to spend real money in this game. First of all, you should use your gems to purchase Builders’ Huts. Each Builder’s Hut comes with builder that you will use to build/update structures. The first one you will get for free, but for the other four you will need to pay as follows:

– Second Builder’s Hut: 250 Gems;
– Third Builder’s Hut: 500 Gems;
– Fourth Bulder’s Hut: 1000 Gems;
– Fifth Builder’s Hut: 2000 Gems.
