Act 3 - Mission 8 - A Hero's Duty
Once the mission kicks off you’ll need to go to the museum… quick! Once you arrive you’ll need to talk to 4Kim. Do both and then prepare yourself for three different waves of Fizzco scum, each identifiable by a different objective. You’re going to defend the museum from the Fizzco Rifle Bots, then defeat the wave of Fizzco Blade Bots and lastly destroy the Fizzco Bomb Bots. The good news is that these enemies fall from the same types of weapons and attacks so you want need to swap up much between.
Tip: For maximum damage against the Fizzzo enemies use your Freeze Bomb weapon then take them out with some highly aggressive melee action. Just remember not to stand still and to stay moving.
After three intense waves of all the nonsense that Fizzco has to offer you’ll need to leave 4Kim and go to the Oxford’s base. For this we took a ride along the train tracks and found out it was the easiest and quickest way to get to our destination without having to deal with a lot of Fizzco hate.
Once you arrive at the base you’ll need to kill the Fizzco Rifle Bots attacking the front door. Just whip out your handy dandy TNTeddy after hitting them with a Freeze Bomb and they should last long at all.
After taking out those door banging thugs it’s time to deal with another few waves of Fizzco fun. Firstly destroy the Fizzco Blade Bots then destroy the Fizzco Rifle Bots and thirdly you’ll need to destroy the Fizzco Bomb Bots. Once all three waves are down you’ll be ready to begin the mission’s boss fight.
Your final (ish) objective of the mission is to destroy the big killer robot. For this we went back to our crème de la crème,, the Freeze Bomb with a desert of TNTeddy and some melee sweetness. The key (other than a magnificent offensive) is to never stop moving long enough for the tin bucket to get a bead on you. Once it finally falls you’ll need to speak to Sam to finish up the mission. That wasn’t so bad… was it?
