Chapter 1
- Search for the gate key in the cart. Unlock the gate and go through it.
- Check the apron on the bench.
- Take the shears. Go right.
- Pick up the Rock at the bottom right.
- Go back to the front door of the mansion and take a closer look.
- Use the Rock to break the glass, go inside.
- Search the desk and read the journal. Check the door to the left. Search the pantry then unlock the door with the Spare Key. Go through the door.
- Open the dresser on left; pick up the pocket knife. Search the shelf on the right then go through the door on the back wall.
- Pick up the crowbar and smelly ham. Check the cupboard on the right. Go through the door on the left.
- Play the pipe mini-game, turn on the drain.
- Return to the front of the house. Use your shears on the bushes to the right of the stairs, take the saw. Use the saw on the fallen tree to the left. Go left.
- Cut down the swing with the pocket knife and pick up the rope and set the ladder against the open window. Go left.
- Collect the sticks from the church banister and go down the path to the Mausoleum.
- Use the Brick Dust on your grandmother then use the Death Talk spell. Leave the Mausoleum.
- Go back to the swamp path and follow it to the tree using the Wood Plank from the swing to get across the gap in the walkway.
- Use your cake knife to scrape the moss away.
- Finish the puzzle to open the door.
- Go inside the tree. Search the shelves on the left. Pick up both the mortar and the spell book along with the “Move” spell bag that is clipped to the line on the right.
- Go back to the Terrace.
- Search the patch of flowers. Go back to the area just outside the Mausoleum.
- Use the move spell on the big rocks then search behind them.
- Use your crowbar to open the tool box. Take the Screwdriver. Return to the Terrace.
- Use your screwdriver on the door hinges, twice each, to remove the shutter-doors in order to enter the Ballroom.
- Check your mother. Check the Obatala symbol. Go back to the swing-set tree.
- Use the Sticks to fix the Ladder then climb into the open window.
- Search the dresser on the right, use your knife to cut some straw out of the mattress then search the dresser next to the door.
- Go back inside the house entryway and search the pantry once more. Return to the swamp path.
- Use the Soporific Ham on the Crocodile.
- Use your rope to lift the statue out of the mud.
- Return to the back room of the mansion.
- Look in the cupboard. Use your fuel can and matches to turn the lantern on then move into the sunroom.
- Use the statue head on the fountain then descend the stairs that appear.
- Place the lantern on the wall to light the tunnel.
- Pick up the Empty Flask then move through the tunnel.
- Move the rags on the floor beneath the pew to retrieve a black candle. Use your Empty Flask on the holy water font on the wall.
- Return to the mansion’s dining room and search the shelf on the right hand wall for a cork.
- Return to the church and place the cork in the flask. Return to the ball room.
- Use your scissors to cut off a lock of your mother’s hair.
- Use your mortar to make the Obatala doll. Place the red candle on the marked spot on the floor.
- Use your matches to light it then use the Obatala doll on it. After the cut-scene use the door at the back to return to the entryway.
- Go up the stairs to the second floor.
- Go into the room on the right.
- Read the note on top of the desk. Open the drawer on the bottom right of the desk and retrieve the chimney handle.
- Return to the hallway and go through the door at the end.
- Go through the far door into the attic.
- Use the chimney handle on the small door in the right hand wall. Retrieve the saloon key. Search the shelves in the back right.
- Remove the wooden knob from the desk to the left.
- Leave the attic.
- Pick up the key on the wall to your left then unlock the door to the servant’s quarters. Go in.
- Take the Saloon Flacon on top of the wardrobe on the right. Inspect the piece of paper under the left bed. Return to the second floor hallway and enter the room to the left.
- Open the wardrobe and pick up the red feather. Go back into the second floor office.
- Play the record on the gramophone.
- Leave the mansion.
Chapter 2
- Pick up the Dusty Napkin on the table to the left.
- Check the piece of paper on the right end of the bar. Go to the room at the top of the stairs.
- Pick up the Brougham Handle on the seat of the red chair. Check the Dancer’s body.
- Search the vanity on the left. Return to the Saloon’s common room.
- Use your saloon key on the lower door. Go inside.
- Open the white box on the floor near the far wall and take the Black Ink. Grab the Owner’s Cigar out of the ashtray.
- Search the desk on the left. Check the wardrobe on the back wall.
- Use your paperclip and hairpin to pick the lock on the door.
- Go through the secret door into the cellar.
- Check the sleeping Owner. Check the Ogun Symbol on the floor next to his right leg. Pick up the Visibility Potion recipe among the papers scattered on the floor.
- Search behind the curtain on the left to play a match game and find the Tincture. Search the countertop to retrieve some Putty. Finally, check the stove.
- Go back upstairs to the office and grab the Strong Alcohol from among the three bottles on the back wall.
- Search the desk again. Return to the Saloon Common room.
- Go out the door at the rear.
- Search the pile of junk on the left to find a hammer. Use your putty on the bucket next to the well.
- Use the Move spell to take the lid off of the well then fill the bucket with water. Use your hammer on the brick wall next o the door way and grab some Brick Dust.
- Use the Brougham Handle on the Brougham Carriage. Open the door and peak inside.
- Grab the twine on the floor of the carriage and go back outside. Go back to the Saloon Common.
- Mix a Visibility Mixture with your Mortar and Pestle.
- Use the Visibility Mixture on the slip of paper on the bar.
- Go back through the door at the top of the stairs and use the brick dust on the dancer then check her again.
- Search her vanity once more. Go back to Common Room.
- Use the Brush on the Visibility Mixture to reveal what is on the paper. Pick up the pen then go to the Billiard room.
- Look at the rack of billiard balls on the left table.
- Rearrange the balls in the order that was shown on the piece of paper on the bar. Place your Note Paper next to the rack and use your pen to write down the numbers. Pick up the paper.
- Go out the back door again. Collect some Weeds from around the well.
- Check the Brougham Carriage and use your Small Key on the lock box inside. Pick up the “Crash” spell. Go to the Billiard Room.
- Use your Crash spell on the Bull’s head and collect the Bull’s Horn. Go back to the Common Room.
- Use Crash on the swaying chandelier. Pick up the Ceiling Hook. Go back to the cellar.
- Use your bucket of water on the stove and pull out the ashes. Go back outside to the Saloon Entrance.
- Pick up the Broom. Return to the cellar.
- Sweep up the ashes and collect them. Create a Death Talk Spell bag in your Mortar.
- Return to the Dancer’s Room. Use the Death Talk Spell on the Dancer. Open the Dancer’s suitcase. Take the Pearl Earrings and the White Feather.
- Make the Ogun Doll. Return to the Cellar.
- Use your Chalk to make a circle on the floor. Place the Ogun doll in the middle of the circle. Use the Powder Brush to clear the dust away from the picture on the wall to the right. Inspect the picture.
- Leave the Saloon and go to the Hotel.
Chapter 3
- Open the mailbox to the left and take the piece of paper inside. Go into the Stable next to the Hotel.
- Attach your hook to the rope in the horse-pen. Pick up the rope. Take the bucket in the bottom left corner.
- Search the pile of objects against the wall to the right. Go into the Hotel.
- Check the small table between the two chairs on the right.
- Move the newspaper and use the key underneath to unlock the drawer. Take the matches. Go behind the counter to the right.
- Take a closer look at the safe.
- Place the piece of paper you found next to the dial and arrange the numbers as they appear on the paper from the outer ring in.
- Look inside the safe and take the Bank Check. Search the shelves to the left. Go back to the main entry then go through the door on the left into the dining room.
- Pick up the Fat Candle on the right side of the shelf over the fireplace. Search the table below the window.
- Go back to the main entry then go up the stairs to the first floor.
- Use your Punyal Knife to cut the shoelace off of the brown shoes in the dresser on the right.
- Pick up the Piece of Lace. Pick up the flyer from the table on the left side. Place the Horse Head Painting on the wall over the discolored spot.
- Read the riddle on the piece of paper that is revealed when the picture moves. Use your Crash spell to smash the vase in the corner. Pick up the Room 7 key.
- Use the Key to open the door to Room 7. Go inside.
- Check the dead body. Search the suitcase on the bed.
- Go back into the First Floor Hallway. Place the Door Handle on the bathroom door. Open the door and go inside.
- Check the lamp to the left of the mirror. Pick up the wet soap on the right corner of the sink. Go back outside the Hotel.
- Collect some weeds from the long grass in the bottom left.
- Go back into the Stable and search the pile of stuff on the right again. Place your piece of paper next to the exposed brick then use your Crash spell to create some Brick Dust.
- Take the Brick Dust and go back to the Dining Room.
- Use your Wet Soap on the lamp on the left side of the shelf over the fireplace. Take the Glass Chimney off of the lamp. Go to the Bathroom.
- Use the Fuel Can, Piece of Lace, Glass Chimney and Matches in that order on the lamp over the sink to light it.
- Search the wastebasket in the left corner and pick up the Invitation Pieces.
- Put your bucket in the sink and turn on the tap. Take the resulting Bucket of Water. Return to the Dining Room.
- Use the Bucket of Water on the fireplace and pick up the Ashes. You can now mix a Death Talk spell-bag. Go back to Room 7.
- Use your Brick Dust then the Death Talk spell on the Corpse. Use your Move spell on the Wardrobe.
- Pick up the Rest of the Invitation and use it and your Invitation Pieces on the torn invitation. Check the invitation and rearrange the pieces.
- Go to the Stables. Pick up the pot of glue next to the bale of straw.
- Go back to Room 7 and use the glue and flyer on the invitation.
Chapter 4
- Check the missing curb on the right side of the pedestrian. Search the trash can to the left. Use your rope and hook on the second floor balcony. Go in the window.
- Check and take the Papa Legba symbol in the bottom left corner. Take the Paper Clip next to the typewriter. Search the desk behind the Clerk. Go back outside then enter the bank.
- Use your Hairpin and Paper Clip on the door to the Teller Station.
- Open the drawer on the desk to the left. Take the screwdriver. Search the table behind the chair. Go back to the Bank Lobby.
- Use your screwdriver on the grate under the fountain.
- Complete the mini-game. Use your Tin Cup to collect water from the fountain. Take the cup and go outside.
- Search the trash can again.
- Use your cup of water on the patch of dirt to the right. Go back to the Teller Station.
- Pick up the stove shovel and search the table behind the chair. Go back outside.
- Use your stove shovel to collect some mud. Search the plant box on the second floor balcony.
- Use your shears to cut off a piece of the second plant. Go back to the Clerk’s Office.
- Search the table behind the clerk. Make a Symbol Candle with your Mortar.
- Place it at the banker’s feet and light it with your Pocket Tinderbox.
- Make a Papa Legba Doll. Place it on the floor. After the cut-scene, give the Clerk the Check. Go into the vault.
- Check the deposit boxes on the left. Use your key to open the door to the right.
- Check the statue to the left.
- Search the jewelry cabinet at the end of the room and move the piece of paper to get a Large Ruby.
- Check the desk at the front of the room and arrange the pieces of the page. Return to the vault.
- Check the security deposit boxes on the left.
- The combination is M4Y0R.
- Open the box and take the Fire spell. Go back into the Jewel Room.
- Place the Ruby in the statue’s bowl.
- Use your new Fire spell on the Lamp above the statue with the ruby.
- Use Move on the other statue, then descend into the sewers.
Chapter 5
- Move forward through the sewers.
- Search the objects in the far right corner.
- Use your Move spell on the heavy trunk and climb out the window it comes to rest under.
- Use your Sickle to cut the mushrooms at the base of the tree.
- Search the bushes next to the second window on the left and play the mini-game. Go into the house.
- Talk to the ghost. Go outside then around the house to the garden on the river bank.
- Check the tree on the left and old boat on the right. Go back to the basement.
- Pick up the ladder in the hole and a spoiled apple from the basket on the left. Search the objects in the corner again.
- Go back to the river bank.
- Place the ladder against the tree. Look into the hole at the top of the tree.
- Mix the Phantasm Dispel potion. Go back inside the house.
- Use the potion to dispel the ghost. Search behind the pile of junk on the left. Use your key on the door to the right and go through.
- Pick up the Black Knight from on the chess board in the middle of the room. Search the desk in the right corner. Go to the front entryway and go upstairs.
- Use your knife on the curtain and pick the curtain piece up off of the stairs. Check the vase of roses. Continue up the stairs.
- Check the Maman Brigitte symbol on the floor to the left. Pick up the Golden Ring on the floor next to the Mayor’s Mother.
- Check the four doll-face windows. Go outside.
- Go back outside to the River Bank. Use your knife on the rope then move the boat.
- Pick up the Garden Shears beneath it. Go back to the Garden.
- Use your Crash spell on the tree branches and pick up the twigs that fall down. Go back into the Basement.
- Use your Fire spell on the candle and look closer at it.
- Use your spatula to scrape up some wax. Make a Maman Brigitte doll. Go back to second floor.
- Use your shears on the roses and pick up the one that falls.
- Use the Maman Brigitte doll on the candle stand next to the Mayor’s mother.
- Go back to the Entry way and go through the door on the left.
- Speak with the Mayor. Pick up the Record on the chair to the left. Go back to the Sitting Room.
- Use the Record on the Record Player and use the crank to turn it on. Take the key out of the drawer that pops out. Go through the door to the Doll Room.
- Use the Rose on the first doll, the Key on the second, the Knight Piece on the third and the Pearl Earrings on the fourth. Return to the Mayor’s Office.
- Check the bookcase. Click on B, E, K, and N-O and the case will slide aside to reveal a secret entrance. Go through.
- Pick up the Preserved Snake on the right hand shelf and the Empty Vial on the left hand shelf.
- Check the box on the chair in the front, play the mini-game and take the Dambala Bag.
- Use the Dambala Bag on the painting. Go to Gentleman’s Lounge and search the desk on the right then go to the Back Yard.
- Use your knife on the tree stump and collect the sap. Mix the Cleansing Potion. Go to the office and use your potion on the Mayor and take the Baka Spirit Bag. Go to the hidden shrine.
- Use the Baka Spirit Bag on the painting. Go to the basement.
- Pick up the shovel and go to the back yard.
- Use your shovel on the pine cone and pick up the Sango Bag. Return to the Hidden Shrine and use the Sango bag on the painting. Return to the Basement and check the well.
