Leveling a Warrior in WoW - Choosing the Right Talent Spec to Level Quickly

If you are wanting to level a warrior in WoW, and want to know what talent spec to use, you have come to the right place. There are a few things you really need to consider before you settle on a spec for leveling your warrior. You need to come up with a blend of killing power and survivability, while keeping the ability to run some instances for some items. There are plenty of options for a leveling warrior, so weigh them well.

If you are looking to be able to survive some nasty damage, and be able to tank some instances along your path, then you need to go with protection. Without a doubt, this spec takes very little damage in comparison with the other specs. You will find that you can survive many things that other players will easily die to, but with this ability comes a price you have to pay. You lose the ability to use a two handed weapon, or dual wield one handed weapons in order to use a shield.

You could run with the previous options, but in doing so you lose the ability to use a shield. Amazingly enough this spec relies on the use of a shield for much of its damage output, so it is a trade off that you will probably need to make.

Your other options are leveling with Arms or Fury. Both have their high points and downfalls, but both operate pretty much the same. One will rely more on dual wielding weapons, while the other relies on using a two handed weapon. That's the big difference between the two physically, though there are definite spec differences between the two. After level 51 Fury gains the ability to dual wield two handed weapons and begins to take the lead here, and arguably is the best warrior DPS spec out there.
