Gold Farming in WoW - Things You Need to Do If You Plan to Farm in World of Warcraft

If you find yourself needing to do some gold farming in WoW there are a few things you need to do in order to prepare. You need to upgrade your bags and create a bank alt if you plan to get serious about your farming. So before you do any gold farming in WoW please make sure you take these tips to heart.

For starters, you need to start by having the biggest packs that you can possibly have. There is no way you can efficiently farm if you only have small bags. I would settle for no less than 16 slot bags, and personally recommend 20 slot bags as soon as you possibly can. This will help you carry more between trips, and as an added bonus allow you to carry multiple sets of gear while you are not farming.

From here you should really create a bank alt. This is basically a character that you keep around the auction house to save you not only bag space, but time. Instead of having to run to a city to sell your hard earned loot, you simply head to a mailbox and send the items to your alt. I can promise you that a mailbox will always be closer than the auction house is (unless of course you are playing the AH for your money.)

I would take the added step of making this character an enchanter as well, so you can disenchant all of your own items easily. This really isn't 100% necessary, however, as you can simply have another person do it instead. I am just into saving time as well as making money.
