Updates about boss timer and kill counts

Boss timer will show how quickly you kill a boss in-game. Once you enter an instanced boss fight, there will be a timer in the interface, and it will count up as long as you take the boss down. The kill time will be displayed in your chat box once it falls. But if more than a certain number of players deal with a boss, the timer will not appear.
Besides, Kill counts are also added to record how many monsters you have killed. But you cannot see it before the full update arrives. The boss kill count will have an effect on how many rewards will be unlocked in the future.

New boss Araxxor available on July 28

Araxxor is a new boss in RuneScape 3 located on Eastern Morytania, just south of the Port and near the skilling chinchompas. You can transport with Ectophial and then bank in the city.
Differently, there are three paths to Araxxor's lair, each of them triggers different fight mechanics. You can fight Araxxor with your friend or yourself alone. When two people fight instead of one, Araxxor's attacks are "doubled". In face of this solo PvM monster, most players put more promise on it.
Fighting this new boss, swipe should be a wise attack, because thus it would pull its front legs back. Besides, dodge should be applied to avoid Araxxor's surge, including sliding under and climbing on top of Araxxor. Last, smoke or gas is helpful to deal with Araxxor.

What happens once Araxxor meet with boss timer and kill count?

Have you imagined how long you can take Araxxor down? It is very hard for sure, because each boss has its own features and difficulty level. However, the official post says that the kill count not only records how many relevant bosses you have killed and decide what rewards you will get in this update. Does the number of bosses you kill depend on the rewards you will gain? If it does so, it is kind of improper. So the developers should take it into consider, or there will be some complaints.

Certainly, all these are still worth to try as new things in RS 3. You can get cheap, even free RuneScape 3 gold at rs3gold to experience it now.
