The Crew is a racing video game set in an open world. It is developed by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections. The game is published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It runs on a Babel engine and features single-player and multiplayer modes.

The Crew is set in an open and persistent world across the United States of America. The game involves infiltration and eventual overtaking of the 510s, a gang grown from Detroit's illegal street racing scene. The idea of the game is to build up rep on the underground-racing scene and sabotage the gang's activities city-by-city all across the United States. From maneuvering through a busy New York City to cruising along the sunny Miami Beach, there are plenty of locations the player can ride through. Each location presents the player with surprises and driving challenges to master. The game also features other players on the road, from worthy companions to crew up with to future rivals to compete with. Players can either play the single-player campaign that lasts up to 20 hours or team up with friends or online co-op matchmaking to complete missions. The multiplayer mode lets a maximum of 8 players to compete in races and other game types.

Coming to the system requirements for PC, the minimum system requirements are as follows:

The game released closed beta versions of the game on PC for a limited period. It allowed players to play a portion of the story-driven mission in the game's map. Cars and other features such as driver levels and car specifications were limited. The game is expected to release in North America on 11th November 2014 while In Europe the date release in scheduled on 14th November 2014.
