Though the PS4 and Xbox One versions of this game were released by Sledgehammer Games, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions were developed by High Moon Studios. With many countries in turmoil, they all look to the Atlas Corporation for better protection.
The gameplay of Advanced Warfare has gone through many changes in contrast to prior installments. The conventional heads-up display, that was featured in previous titles of this series, has been changed; now, all game-related information is relayed to the player through holographic projections from the weapon that the player-character has equipped.
