Swtor Patch 3.3 is delayed due to some issues
Yesterday, swtor community manager Eric Musco announced that patch 3.3 was delayed to run into some other issues. As a result, the planned maintenance during July 20 to 21 is cancelled and players can continue to do quests and other contents. As for the coming date, Bioware hasn't given an exact answer so far, so that players need to wait until Tait confirm and update the information with the correct dates.
In this case, some players feel disappointed to destroy their plan of playing new Togruta race, while some others guess that Bioware would be fixing some bugs or so for the patch. If so, most of players would rather wait than get a broken patch. After all, after years' waiting for playable Togruta, another day or two isn't a big deal. But we couldn't get the answer yet, and the only thing could do is to wait and continue the original adventure.
Things that would/wouldn't be affected by the delay
1. Be affected: firstly, Bountry Contract Week is also delayed until game update 3.3 releases, and will only run until next Tuesday. Secondly, the end of season 5 and start of Season 6 will occur with the release of 3.3, which may be a chance for some players to catch up the top players and win the Gladiatorial Nexu mount.
2. Be not affected: The Outer Rim Explorer's pack will still go live on July 21 as planned, so that players can prepare cartel coins to get the new weapons and other stuffs in the packs. Besides, the next Conquest will start on time, on July 21.
Maybe it is not good news for most of players to wait for longer time to get patch 3.3, at least there will be more time to gain enough swtor credit for Yavin stronghold unlocking, while effort can be continued to put for season 5 pvp rewards.
