The planting and harvesting also has to be planned. Don’t plant the one-hour eggplant if you can’t get back to your computer for eight hours. You may as well not waste your money because by the time you get back, your crops have expired and are just brown patches of ugliness that you have to spend an energy point to clear. The main goal here is to balance making money and keeping your people happy.

Mirroring the real world once again, you’ll find that the higher you go and the larger your city becomes, the easier it is to make bank. The flip side is that it will also cost more to keep those demanding citizens happy. When you implement the right strategies, like balancing crop production with the number of businesses, you’ll see how much easier it is to keep everyone happy, make money and level up.
