So you just purchased a new X-Box. You have probably been able to find one that is quite reasonable on the internet. You have probably been able to even find the newer version X-Box 360 and your children have never been happier. Well, maybe they could be happier because now they have the X-Box of their dreams and you have not decided just how much you are going to shell out for games.
Games that were in short supply just a short time ago are now found all over and they range from $15 to $70 depending on your source. If you check e-bay you might even be able to get used one cheaper. There is a wide variety to choose from. They could almost be given the same rating system as movies. Ranging from G to X rated so you need to be sure to check out the box and see if that is really what you want your child playing.
Buying an X-Box game is not like sending the kids outdoors to play Hide-n-Seek and knowing that they are safe. You need to be sure to read the back of the box and also check the internet looking for sites that will give you information on what the games contains. Check with your neighbors, work associates and family to see if they are familiar with the game and what it contains... Of course, the age of the child will determine whether you want to purchase a particular game.
This is a thumb nail sketch of what you may want to do before you purchase an X-box game.
1. Rent the game first and see if you really want to put the money out to own it
2. Check for age appropriate for your children - is that really what you want them doing in their spare time.
3. See if there is a friend that has it and would like to trade games with you instead of purchasing it.
4. If it is one of those games that you know will be addicting and you will love it and play it again and again then. Or if your children just can't live without it then:
A .Check the internet for the a used one
B. Check the internet for a new one
C. Check e-Bay for used and new ones
D. Go to the store if you do not feel comfortable buying on the internet AND BUY IT then sit back and ENJOY.
