Top 5 Most Anticipated 3-D PlayStation Game Titles

3d has undoubtedly created a splash in the console gaming market, but we are even more enthusiastic about the 3d Playstation 3 releases planned for 2011. Here is my Top 5 3d Playstation 3 video games I am most excited to get my hands on…

1. SOCOM 4: US Navy Seals (Release: 4/19/11)

If you are a Playstation video game player, you have to be ecstatic about this one. I've forever enjoyed the SOCOM series and I know you'll find a great deal of devoted supporters out there. I expect the 3-d graphics to be done well for this video game as it is PS3's original FPS.

2. Killzone 3 (Release: 2/22/11)

I have certainly not been a huge Killzone 3 fan, but the 3d reviews of this game have been excellent so far. First Person Shooters in 3d are getting me pumped up because I think this video game genre has the most to gain from quality 3d visuals. If you're searching for a quality 3-d Ps3 game, grab Killzone 3 when it drops.

3. MLB 11: The Show (Release: 3/8/11)

From the moment the MLB "Show" collection was released, it has become the leading baseball simulation video game. I am fired up about MLB 11 "The Show" because of the features of 3d graphics and batting simulation. Think of how much more realistic it will be in 3-d, standing in the batter's box as you battle fast balls and searching for a hanging curve ball to blast. I am expecting MLB 11 to be a top quality video game and the 3-d visuals to be an incredible perk.

4. Mortal Kombat 9 (Release Date: April 19th, 2011)

What can I say except that Mortal Kombat will always keep a special place in my heart. I've always liked fighting game titles and Mortal Kombat has been in existence for a Very long time (this is the 9th release!). It's tough to consider that I played Mortal Kombat 2 on my GameBoy and now I am getting ready to play it with 3-d effects!

5. Crysis 2 (Date of Release March 22nd, 2011)

Like Killzone, I'm not really a enormous Crysis enthusiast but this video game is receiving awesome 3d reviews too. Cytek, the maker of Crysis 2, started creating this game more than two years back with 3-d graphics. Apparently, James Cameron (Director of Avatar) saw the game and was really impressed. Ideally the gameplay of Crysis 2 will complement the beautiful 3d effects.
