If you really want to level your alt characters in WoW then you should be using the dungeon leveling technique. It's frustrating though as many of the modern guides and in game add-ons don't account for this and only cover the traditional solo questing for leveling quickly in WoW.
Dungeon leveling has grown in popularity among the die hard fans of WoW and enthusiasts who're looking the level their alts at lightning speed and gain some of the top weaponry and armor along the way! There's also a great social aspect to dungeons as they involve team work and require small groups of players to unite in battle and conquer the dungeons together!
What does Dungeon leveling involve?
Dungeon leveling basically involves finding groups who're willing to join dungeon challenges with you and then conquering the dungeons together, the groups usually consist of around 5 players. Finding groups and dungeons to conquer has now become easier than ever before thanks to the Dungeon Finder tool which Blizzard incorporated into the game in the 3.3 patch.
The Dungeon Finder tool is the main reason that dungeon leveling came to be, with many elite players soon exploiting this loophole for leveling characters quicker than ever before. Finding groups to conquer dungeons with is now a breeze and there's no reason why at level 15 when the dungeon finder tool becomes available to you, you shouldn't be taking on dungeons.
You may find sometimes it takes a little while to get accepted for a request it just depends on how many people are on your server at that particular time and how in demand your role is. Healers usually have less of a harder time than Tanks or Damage Dealers might.
Dungeon quests are also another important part of dungeon leveling which most people skip over. Completing the quests within the dungeons can add lots of extra XP and will also some drop some additional rare loots.
Joining dungeon quests is easy, just load the dungeon finder tool located in the menu bar on the main display screen and request to join a group, once an available slot is ready you'll be notified where you can then join the dungeon group.
The class you selected to play will determine how readily you're accepted into groups. Some classes offer more group benefits than others although ones build type can also play a vital role here to. You may find for instance the Paladin class are readily accepted into groups due to the healing abilities and other auras they possess that benefit all members in the group.
