Cataclysm Gold Farming Guide - How To Make 1000g In 3 Steps

How do you farm your gold in World of Warcraft? I know that everyone has their methods, therefore, I decided to share one of mine here, in this report. So, here's a brief Cataclysm gold farming guide in 3 steps.

Step 1. For the first step of this short Cataclysm gold farming guide, you need to go to the following location. But even before that, it's best to have your character bound to a main city, to quickly get to the Auction House. The spot is in Eastern Plaguelands, southeastern corner, at Tyr's Hand. It's a an undead encampment with Scarlet Crusade mobs. To get there just fly to Light's Hope Chapel, and from there move south until you reach Tyr's Hand, at (78,78). If you don't have an addon that displays coordinates, just download and install MapCoords.

Tip: Death Knights are the class that can reach this spot the easiest, by using their Death Gate ability to port to the Ebon Hold. Tyr's Hand is one minute south from there. So, you can even roll a 55 level DK just for this purpose.

Step 2. Once you're at Tyr's Hand, you'll notice that there are plenty types of Scarlet mobs here. All of them drop basically the same loot. The most valuable stuff from all the usual loot is the Mageweave Cloth, Silk Cloth and Undeath Essence. However, the Scarlet Archmages, which aren't very many though, have a chance to drop the formula for the Crusader weapon enchantment. That's a very useful and expensive recipe. You can make a lot of gold by crafting Scrolls of Enchant Weapon - Crusader or you can just farm it to sell it. So, grind on the Scarlet mobs here, focusing on the archmages and sooner or later the recipe will drop for you.

Tip: I farm here when I wait in queue for BG's or heroics.

Step 3. And the last step of this short Cataclysm gold farming guide is teleporting to the Auction House to sell the loot. Now, the formula sells for up to 3-4000g. However, I'm not greedy and I auction it for 1000-1500g usually. This way it doesn't wait to long in the Auction House. The rest of the loot, the cloth scraps, the essences and the green trash will also bring me a couple of hundreds, therefore this spot and this solution for farming gold in WoW isn't bad.

Important:

Although you can make 1000g here easily, I hope you realize this method and farming at this spot calls for some luck. Doesn't matter though. There are plenty of other methods to farm gold which are much more rewarding than this. The best of them is Auction House trading. This way, many pro players make their thousands and you should try it too. I did, and it worked for me. In the picture here, you can see me turned into the Vial of Sands drake. That costs 40000g!

However, to be successful this way, it's best to work with a complete Cataclysm gold farming guide. I'm saying this because I did. I've learned many methods of gold farming, the one mentioned above is the least profitable.
