Making Gold With Tailoring In World Of Warcraft

Hello, I'd like to give you some tips on how to make gold in World of Warcraft using the tailoring profession. This article will mainly focus on characters that have there tailoring at level 525 even though some of the information will still be helpful to lower leveled characters.

First tailoring by itself probably won't get you to the gold cap but it can make a nice steady income. You can max the gold making potential of tailoring if you combine it with Enchanting but we'll stick to the main topic of making gold just with tailoring with this article.

Bags- Bags- Bags:

• Netherweave; These are the tried and true gold making machine for tailoring. What they lack in huge profits they make up for with a steady cash stream. Players always need bags and these are the best options for players that don't have a lot of gold plus everyone buys them for there alts. This means there is a constant demand for them. On most servers you can make 500 to 1000g on these a week. I personally sell about a 100 of these a week at 5 to 8g profit per bag. It's a nice steady cash flow.
• Frostweave and Abyssal bags can also sell well. You have to check on your servers mat prices with these to make sure you can make a profit.
• Hyjal Expedition bag (for herbalist) These can sell at a nice profit but they also sell slowly so you'll probably only sell a couple of these a week
• Bag of Jewels (for Jewelcrafters); basically the same as the Hyjal bag nice profit slow sales
• Other Worldly bag (for enchanters) same as the other specialty bags
• Illusionary bag; This ones a little tricky, You have to do a little research to see if these are more profitable then some of your other options with your Dreancloth. On my server you can make more gold using the cloth for Spellthreads but that could be different on your's.

Spellthreads:

• Azure and Shining Spellthreads; It's worth taking a look on your server to see what these are selling for. The mats are cheap. You can make these for under 15g and sell them for 25-50g each to the casual players who don't want to spend several hundred gold and for alts.
• Ghostly and Enchanted Spellthread; These are a pretty steady seller and you can make 70-100 gold profit on each. The Ghostly usually sells at a higher price and the mat's are cheaper.
• Powerful Ghostly and Powerful Enchanting Spellthread; These are the raiding enchants so it's always a good idea to save up your Dreamcloth when a new content patch is coming out since the demand and price of these will spike with the new gear.

PVP Gear

• EmberFire an Fireweave Sets; Both of these sets sell well and at nice profits. You do need to go to the vender in Twilight Highlands to get the cowl,robe, and pants recipes.

Epic Gear

• Epic gear usually sells for a nice profit but takes a while to sell. Normally I don't bother much with epics other then at the start of new content but if you do some research and find a piece that no one else is selling you can get a nice payday.
