World Of Warcraft Patch61: What You Need To Know

World of Warcraft Patch 6.1 goes live and it has brought many features and changes to WoW. Except for the New Character Models: Blood Elf, selfie cam, twitter integration, and New Heirloom collections tab, and so on, some important fixes also make MMOG players excited, especially it repairs a bug which plagued gamers for a decade. 1. Twitter Integration

If you've not looked at your Twitter feed today, you might have missed all your Twitter-WoW friends trying out the new Twitter integration feature. The new feature allows players to send tweets showing off items, announcing achievements and sharing screenshots -- all without having to leave the game client.

2. New Heirloom Collections Tab. Several new changes have been made regarding Heirlooms -- the biggest of which is that the collections system now supports them. Another important change is that Heirlooms can now be upgraded to increase their maximum level. The breakdown is simple.

3. New Character Models: Blood Elf. One of the most looked forward to -- if not the most -- changes in Patch 6.1 is the updated Blood Elf models. According to the WoW team, the models have been overhauled "with an increase to fidelity and texture resolution. But worry not, you're not going to completely lose that classic Blood Elf feel.

4. You Can Now Earn A Platinum Rating On Garrison Invasions. Those of you that pass expectations for a gold rating can move right along to platinum which awards a level 660 item and a chance of obtaining an item to be used to summon world bosses.

5. Summon A Raid Or World Boss To Your Garrison. Upon completing Garrison Invasions, players may find an item that allows them to summon one of six new world or raid bosses for them to battle. The summoned bosses have scaling health and should be attempted by a group of 10-40 players.

6. New Follower Trait: Treasure Hunter. Need more gold from your missions? The Treasure Hunter trait offers an increase to the amount of gold rewarded.

7. New Garrison Music Box. Players can now obtain a music box as a reward for one of their Garrison quests. The box will allow them to play music collected from around Azeroth.

8. New Garrison Visitors Will Bring You Quests. One of five visitors can offer a quest each day to anyone that visits players with Tier 3 garrisons. These quests include: defeat a dungeon boss, defeat a raid boss, bounty (2 or more players) relic and profession quests.

9. Say Hi To a New Garrison Vender. Because you can never have enough ways to spend your garrison resources, a new vendor will now allow you to spend them on things like follower trait retraining guides or ability retraining manuals.

10 Raid Groups Are No Longer Eligible For Quest Credit. You can no longer gain quest credit when in a raid group -- with the exception of specially-designated raid quests. The team does note, however that they are looking into ways to allow players who want to smaller group content while in raid groups to do it.
