With only days left until the release of the newest edition to the NASCAR series "NASCAR 2011: The game, racing fanatics are gearing up for the ride of their lives. There will be some awesome changes to the popular game from earlier versons. For one, Electronic Arts has taken a step back to allow a new developer to take a crack at it. yea, I'd say that's a big change.
Eutechnyx and Activision will be teaming up for this one. One of the improvements made is the crashes. We all know that EVERY NASCAR fan loves a good crash! there will be debris scattered from one side of the track to the other after a wreck, I'm talking about catapulting cars into the air and having them barrel rolling over the other cars kind of wrecks. The details on this new arrival are INSANE! . In addition there will be announcers, like the announcers you hear when you're actually at a race coming over a PA system. These are two GIANT leaps in the right direction.
There are a few similar things in the game as the past ones such as car design, career modes, and all the tracks and drivers we love. There will also be a few new drivers from the 2010 sprint cup season and the new Kentucky track. The realism in this game is going to be out of this world compared to the older NASCAR games and I can't even stress that enough. Your race hud is going to be completely customizable as well.
Another plus in the new game is that the Artificial Intelligence of the other drivers around you is going to be based on their actual characteristics, The spotter which will be on the radio with you while you drive will plan out a good pit strategy, let you know when and where there's a wreck up ahead and also let you know who's going to be helping you out with bump drafting and other help tactics. The pit stops will average out to be around 14 seconds.
All in all, I don't have a doubt in my mind that this is going to be one heck of a racing breakthrough like none other. I believe from the footage I've seen of this game that Electronic Arts will not and never have been able to hold a candle to what Activision and Eutechnyx are bringing to the table. I highly recommend this game to any racing fan. Learn more about Nascar 2011 via my website!
