Who Will You Choose In Skyrim?

There was an interesting post on the Bethesda Softworks forum Sunday afternoon by Sammuthegreat that detailed a lot of information about the upcoming classes you can choose from in Skyrim. There have been a lot of gamers waiting for this kind of information to be revealed, and now the people waiting for Skyrims November release date can take a look at this list and maybe get a better idea what kind of character suites them.

When you play a huge immersive RPG like Skyrim, you are bound to put in over one hundred hours if you are looking to fully complete the game. When it comes to picking a character, you want to get it right the first time. I need to mention that this isn’t a final list of perks and abilities, so if there is something you think is missing; it might still be in the game. So take a look at this list and figure out who you are going to be.

Orcs ability: Beserker Redguards ability: Adrenaline Rush Wood Elf abilities: Resist Poison, command animals and resist disease Nord ability: Battlecry Khajiit abilities: claw attacks, night-eye Imperial abilities: Find more coins when looting, voice of the emporer High Elf abilities: Regenerates Magika fast Dark Elf abilities: Resist fire, ancestor’s wrath (surroinds you in fire) Breton abilities: Resist shock, dragonskin (spell absorbing) Argonians abilities: Breathe under water, histskin (regenerate quicker), disease resistance 50% Sammuthegreat also posted the different kinds of skill trees that you build up by adding points to the skill you want to increase. This isn’t a full list mind you, just a little sample of what’s to come.

Alchemy 20% stronger potions Magika, stamina and healing potions 25% stronger 25% decrease in poisons Your poisons last twice as long Ingredients are gathered 2X Resistance to potions up 50% Negative and positive effects are removed from potions and poisons Ingredients are revealed twice as fast

Illusion You get a more powerful spell when you overcharge dual casting Novice spells are cast for 50% less Magika Apprentice spells are cast for 50% less Magika Adept, Expert and Master Spells are cast for 50% less Magika Higher level animals are more vulnerable to your spells Higher level people are more vulnerable to your spells All of your spell casting will be done silently Undead, daedra and automatons are more vulnerable to your spells

Speech Selling and buying prices are 10% more Sell and buy from merchants even if they don’t sell or buy your items Master trader makes all the merchants in the world gain 1000 gold for bartering with you Invest gold into shops to increase gold permanently for those stores Successful intimidation attempts are 2x more likely Successful persuasion attempts are happen more often
