Using The PlayStation Network Store

So the Playstation network store server was down for a couple months earlier this year. I never made much use of it before but I actually saw some games the were for sale on it that I wanted to play. Of course the store was down when I wanted to do this! The store has come back better than ever now though. They had some games you could get after the servers came back on as part of their customer appreciation program. I also found that they have game demo’s that can be played immediately and you can test out many games before you make the decision to buy it.

I believe that the games you could choose from from the customer appreciation program were Dead Nation, Infamous, and Little Big Planet and a couple others I can’t recall. I remember I got Infamous and Little Big Planet(because my friend insist upon it, I don't know anything about the game). There were also games for the PSP(PlayStation Portable) that PSP owners could get as well. There were four games to choose from for those and two of them are Little Big Planet and Killzone Liberation, those were the two I got!

I am yet to play these games though as I found a bunch of game demo’s and have been playing those games nonstop. I got Might & Magic Clash of Heroes and If anyone is interested in RPG games you could look into that game. It’s different from most rpg games it has more of a strategy based fighting system. I got it and played it non-stop for a couple days. They have a demo of the game even! There was also a demo for another rpg game that just came out called Dungeon Siege 3.

The PlayStation store also allows you to get most games on the ps3, as well as older ps1 “classics” straight from your PlayStation 3. They also offer discounted prices on a lot of games with a PlayStation plus membership, which the customer appreciation program also offered a 30 day trial of that as part of their gift. You can also rent or buy movies in the video part of the PlayStation Network Store.

I really enjoyed testing out all the Ps3 Rpggames available to play through demo's. There are also a lot of other game types you can play demo's of as well You can also view video previews for upcoming games and movies. I’ve watched several videos and played many demo’s of the upcoming Ps3 Rpg gamesand anyone can take advantage of this in the PlayStation Network Store.
