Since we reported that the WoW patch 6.2 PTR introduced the new feature Timewalker, we have been monitoring any changes coming in the future days. First let’s have a overview on what Timewalk is and how it works. Timewalking will be available to characters who are level 71 and higher for Burning Crusade content, and level 81 and up for Wrath of the Lich King dungeons. It will open up only during certain three-day-long weekend holidays. While Timewalking, your power will be adjusted down to the level of the Heroic dungeon, but you’ll retain all of your skills and talents. Gamers can keep on the in-game calendar so that will not miss some additional rewards. More detailed information can be found at, the best site to buy WoW items online!
Today, you are going to read a short preview on it.
For those of you who enjoyed a certain dungeon back in the days during some previous expansions, of those of you who came into the game too late and misses out the old dungeon content, then the Timewalker dungeons are perfect for you. Even though we don’t know all the details since this is a work in progress as I can see from PTR, we still can have a pretty clear picture of what Blizzard has in store for us with these dungeons. Here is what we know so far about the Timewalker Dungeons:
- Timewalking will be available to characters who are level 71 and higher for Burning Crusade content, and level 81 and up for Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.
- Timewalker Dungeons will open up randomly during some new weekend events. You can only queue for these dungeons during this event. We will help you get challenge mode gold easier and faster!
You only select the WotLK or TBC dungeons category, you can’t hand pick a specific dungeon.
- When you enter the dungeon your gear will be scaled down to match the content accordingly.
I’ve tested Black Morass and my iLevel was capped at 95. This may vary from dungeon to dungeon.
- The loot will scale up so you can use them at your level.timewarped_item_01
There are Timewarped (iLvl 640) and Timewarped Warforged (iLvl 550) items. It’s a mistake here, of course, I expect the Warforged ones to be iLvl 660.
The loot from trash won’t scale up.
- Only a few dungeons are available for timewalking: The Arcatraz, Black Morass, Mana-Tombs, The Shattered Halls, The Slave Pens, Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom, Gundrak, Halls of Lightning, The Nexus, and Utgarde Pinnacle… but this is the PTR and a lot can change.
- For level 100 there is also some quest that rewards one Seal of Inevitable Fate (the new currency for extra rolls in 6.2) per weekend for running such a dungeon
You can start this quest from the new Adventure Guide. You can rest assured to buy WoW gold EU or US from this reliable site!
To be honest, we expect all the dungeons available for Timewalking, even the Vanilla ones and why not, maybe in time, some of the older Raids too. All the old dungeons, even the Vanilla ones, were added to the dungeon journal.
So what do you think of this new feature and are you gonna use it? Do you want to re-play any specific old dungeon? Anyway, we will give you further information in the coming articles.
